    As a Jiu-Jitsu guy, one of my regrets is I never got to wrestle seriously. I have tremendous respect for the sport and I just love this vid. The athleticism, the hard training, the explosions, the technique, the coaching about taking a moment to reset mentally. Beautifull.

      Same, I currently do judo and it’s very fun, but I just wish my school had wrestling when I was younger . I feel like having the previous wrestling experience would have also helped alot in my judo currently.

      Tommy G! Bro you have taken wrestling to the next level with your channel. I am trying to do the same. I have been wrestling for 5 years and doing youtube for about 6 months, maybe a little more. I have over 300 videos and closing in on 2k subscribers. I post all my matches, wins and losses. I post training videos and some clips from camps too. What I don't have is any interviews with other wrestling youtubers. Bro I am literally a hour and a half north of you. Any way I could do an interview with you for my channel? I know it wouldn't do anything huge for you, but it would be dope for me and my channel. I am 100% sure my parents would drive me down there. As a bjj fan and fluent practitioner I wish gyms like these allowed occasional walk ins so I can make up time for not sticking with this stuff in high school. Wrestling is a key piece of missed opportunity in bjj and I wish there were more clinics for it to the adult public outside of college degrees.

    • @JesusChrist2000BC
      @JesusChrist2000BC 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      They could make a lot of money by opening this up to outsiders and at least providing a secondary class for people who aren't part of the college. Eventually someone's going to do it and make a ton of money off of it and then I'm sure every college is going to jump on it as well. It's just an obvious way to make more money and grow the sport and you don't have to have them interrupt the D1 class, just put everyone else in a separate class have them be coached by one of the freshmen or sophomore wrestlers who just need more practice. Easy money.

    Only thing I don’t like is everyone layered in sweats… coach Bentley at app state taught us that when it’s time for wrestling practice you should dress lightly so you can actually focus on getting better at wrestling. And not cutting weight.
