Does anyone know what gave Jorges the idea for Circe to summon a chimera specifically?
A cyclops makes sense for Ody', since at this point in the story that's about the scariest thing he's ever seen (bar Poseidon, or the giants in the original text)... But in the myths I don't know of any connection of the chimera to Circe... Was it just because of her pre-set animal connections and a chimera seemed appropriate? Also: Ody: "Through the years we seldom Get a warm welcome" Odysseus, you *sacked a city* and basically keep *invading* people's islands with a *war fleet* in requirement of enough food to feed 600 men, the lack of warmth ain't exactly a shocker, even if half the inhabitants weren't supernatural. (Honestly, re' the 10/12 years thing, Jorges isn't at fault here, it could totally have taken them two years to get to this point in the journey, even if Poseidon hadn't been asked by Polyphemus to curse them to wander for a decade)

In the odyssey (the original source material) they have an affair hear (the song and musical) it’s more like she’s using romance and seduction as a last resort
In the following saga athena states that Odysseus never cheated on his wife. That’s why I cut of the scene. She tries to seduce him but he will back away. So no. It’s just a trick😉
