- We're back! Back in Vegas after a week in Los Angeles following Live At The Bike, and back on the poker vlog grind. Let's recap that aforementioned LATB appearance, as well as a $1/$3NL session from the Wynn poker room with some friends. After that, it's back to the present day and right back into a $5/$10NL session at the Bellagio Poker Room.

Here's the hand:
Im in the BB and UTG 3 bet as most times to 40 €, HJ call and i make the call, 3 ways with JQ clubs. Flop is 69Q, 2 diamonds.
Both players check, so i bet 60€ with 400€ behind. Utg call and HJ folds. Turn is a Jx. I bet 60€ again knowing its all going in, now or at river.
Sure enough UTG jams allin after announcing "got to do it..." and i said your on a draw, go away, this is not good for you!
A line from Rounders nobody understand, because of the language barrier lol.
Anyway he shows A6d exactly as advertised.

Was a blast getting to meet up again and properly hang out in LA, and hopefully we can do it again soon!
Hope so Matt. I've sort of found that the livestream recap videos aren't as intriguing as other vids because a lot of people already know the results. Kinda happy to be somewhat done with all the big livestream poker games.
Ah, that's fair, and I totally understand. It's definitely not as fun to not run like god as well. As you said, when you go on these streams you really hope to run well since it's such a short sample and it's so public.

Andrew, Sorry I am a little slow watching this VLOG, enjoyed it as usual. Hey, I know you are a pretty laid back guy but I just have to remind you not to take some of the comments to heart. I check out live at the bike from time to time and those comments are just brutal. Everyone on Twitch is a poker genius!!! Ugh. Just got home from the shortest session I ever played. Only planned to be in for one bullet since I was already at my local little cardroom a little late to be expecting a game to run, but I busted out in literally 10 minutes. Not sure I could have gotten away from it either. It seriously could have been one of your LATB hands. Maybe I should have rebought, but I had already kind of decided I wouldn't, so...
Your LATB assessment was spot on. I watched it and you just couldn't catch a break. You were card dead for the most part, and on the rare occasion that you made a hand you got sucked out on. Only a couple of sessions though, and on the bright side luck will always change. You are certainly due for some serious run good.

Great video!! Crazy hands! I agree...time to rethink the running it twice! I love Wild Horse Pass! Went the last spring for my grandsons graduation. Played 4/8 Kill. Never played kill pots before. I usually hate limit poker because the limits are low and everyone stays in the pot. With the kill pot, people think twice about playing their junk hands cause betting starts out at $8 and raising is then $16. But people are not real serious cause it’s limit poker. Had so much fun! Walked away $300+ profit each of the three nights I played! Rooms are nice, pool is great.

10:00 That was my fav hand analysis and I've watched the vast majority of your hands. I felt that confused pain.
About ruunning it twice: The expected value is actually the same in both instances. Therefore, I wouldn't think too much about which one is better, since there is no "objective" answer.
Personally, I like running it twice in a threeway pot with AA in uncapped games since you are almost guaranteed to profit by chopping the stack of one player with the other one. In capped games however, running it once is more favourable IMO.
Always run it once or three times!!! Never twice............
I've also always offered one or three.
We didn't jam in AA and KK to just find a chop.

Running it twice doesn't change your EV, but it halves your variance. And more importantly, it halves the fish's variance without changing his -EV against you.
So the fish go broke more slowly, and it's easier to extract money from them.
It's more questionable at lower stakes because it also doubles your rake, but at 5/10 rake is negligible anyway.
Ouch, there are card rooms that take double rake for running it twice? Some kind of nuisance fee?

I don’t know if you’ve touched on this before, but is there a reason you play the sessions through the middle of the night instead of during the day? Are their better opportunities during these hours?
Yeah the games are definitely better. Although I think a case could be made for starting very early, like 4:30 or 5am to catch the crowd that has been there overnight, and finish around noon.

Andrew, I did catch glimpses of the bike session, and some of it was on Trooper's channel as well. I have to admit, I don't know if you looked miserable, but you did not seem yourself, you seemed down, and given that it took you a while to put video up, I was concerned about you. Poker can be psychologically devastating game. Glad to see you are back to your old self, at least from our perception.

Crazy hand for sure with the AA. I do like running it 2x at all times. I think it makes players play more reckless as the guy with Q 10 suited did. As you know, most times you scoop there in that spot.
