    I don't know, Man, I've seen all the videos and reviews about the Nami's, and the few about the Blast. Yours are so well done and unique. You really gives us how is the feeling, the good, bad things... we are there, enjoying it with you both. Amazing!

    Many aircraft have a nose wheel design not unlike the Blast. No aircraft have a nose wheel design similar to 99% of scooters. Gee, I wonder why.

    i'm glad someone like you finally gave it a good shakedown of how it feels etc
    i believe the Blast is underrated

    I don't buy the reasoning that the source of the enhanced stability is due to a reduction in the change of length of wheelbase. That's a good thing for stability of course (reduces weave), but is not the cause of the reduction in the bar wobble. The real source of that stability is the use of a 'trailing-link' wheel and suspension mechanism itself. The trailing-link wheel design is innately much more stable for the wheel's tracking and steering, than a 'leading-link' wheel and suspension as seen on almost every other scooter. The only other fairly stable arrangement is to use a forked-suspension and pivot steering arrangement (see Kaabo's Wolf-King GTR, etc.), instead of the much less stable leading-link mechanism. It's not the more consistent wheelbase that's actually producing the steering stability.
    The real cause of this stability is that the front axel on the Blast remains in line with the pivot point of the vertical steering tube and does not move out of alignment as the suspension flexes through its suspension stroke.
    i.e. the front steering geometry can't change with the 'trailing-link'. But with a leading-link, that steering geometry is continually moving around the steering pivot point, as the suspension flexes through its stroke. If it can change it trails the steering pivot point, which adds to stability and line-holding.
    With the leading-link, the rider is much more likely to lose control over bumps and to feel much more shaking and steering wobble, as speed increases, because it allows the axel to move forward of the steering pivot point, and thus induces instability, and a reduction in line-holding (it more wobbles as speed increases).
    That's what's really happening to produce no wobble of handle bars, and much reduced bump deflection with a Nami Blast.

      Well frickin' said. These are things I experienced with my own Nami Blast Max. Super stable ride.

    The Nami Blast is undoubtedly a great device!
    But I just can't warm up to it.
    The weird front suspension, the welds, the open body, the fenders......no thanks.
    But it will happen at some point.
    I'm currently sticking with the Teverun Fighter in the big version.

      weird front suspension? the front suspension is how every suspension should be, it's a C type reversed. In terms of physics, it's better for bumps especially at high speeds. The front wheel wouldn't get stuck.

      Which device is really perfect....none.
      I understand the suspension, but it looks even stupider than the other one.
      Somehow it needs something completely different....McFly...

    Hello,
    Any thoughts on reversing the swing arms on a scooter? One needs to then reverse the handlebars and the wheel. But then the big problem is the dropout for the axle. Nothing would be behind it to support the axle staying on the swing arms aside from the little clip that is kept on by a nut. It would need to be augmented somehow.
    Any thoughts aside from this? My scooter is a Varla Eagle One. I want the Nami Blast but I want to see this one through for another year so I've thought of this change.

    The range on this real world scenario ride is 68 miles, nice. What about the reinforced steering column which has changed to stainless steel? Or is it still an one-piece aluminium?

    • @BH4x0r
      @BH4x0r ปีที่แล้ว +1

      the Blast and Klima never had aluminium there, they came out with steel, while the initial Burn-E2's came with aluminium

    All that’s left for Sha to do is put in a bigger battery that could give weped a run.

    • @BH4x0r
      @BH4x0r 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      weped is more about the power tho, the Burn-E only peaks at like 8000W, Weped has ones up to 33kW peak like the FS, literally 4 times the power for "only" double the price

    How can a suspension geometry that changes the wheelbase under compression possibly be stable? One dip in the road mid corner and that thing is going to dart in the direction of wherever the handlebars are pointed.

    Great video! The blast is a pulling machine and takes a little getting used to. I'm glad my burn e 2 max didn't come with a NFC reader. It has a tendency to lower battery level because it always searching for a signal.

    • @BH4x0r
      @BH4x0r ปีที่แล้ว +3

      it'd take approx 28k hours to drain the battery, or 288 hours to take 1% on a 40Ah Burn-E2 max
      the real issue is that they tend to break

      yea sure LOL, the ST2 Pro and GT2 haven't even got batteries, everything below 1500Wh is what i expect in a 8" scooter or a scooter of only $1000
      at the weight and size of shit like the GT2 you want atleast 2kWh, GT1 is a joke, 1kWh, i have the same on a 25kph ebike XD
