Currently saving up for an upgrade from my beginner digital piano havent decided on a model to buy yet. I'm torn between the Korg VS2 and the CK88. leaning hard towards the CK88 because it's so much cheaper. anyone have advice?
Thanks for watching! Buy the Keyboard, wich is the best for your project. Please note the different piano touch and good weighted keys (You must test it!) and the different weights of the keyboards! (The SV2-73 2S with speakers have a weight of 20 Kilo and the SV2-88 2S with speakers of ca. 23 Kilo.) Also Important is a good feeling by playing the Keyboard!
Could you explain why this is so? I’ve just bought a stand that is on wheels (nice for my very heavy Motif ES8) and thought about getting the same for this keyboard if I were to get one. The stand can be widened or narrowed as desired. Thank you.
@@elledechenestudio I use here the Keyboard stand from the Company „König und Meyer“. It carries up to 50 Kilogramms and the SV2S73 has a weight of 19 Kilogramms. I Hope, this Information can help you.
@@elledechenestudio, watching the video I see the keyboard wiggling all over the place. I think the point is that a four-legged stand (I’m also very happy with the stability of my On-Stage Z-style stand, though much less so with my Hercules Z-style stand) really helps keep the keyboard solidly in place. This dramatically improves one’s ability to control velocity and make fast and predictable scale runs. I agree the table-style stands from e.g K&M are _really_ sturdy (though I prefer the Z-style stands because they are sturdy _and_ you can stack two or three keyboards on one) but some of these vintage-style keyboards that you can screw the legs directly into (not sure if you can do that with the SV, though you definitely can with Viscount and Crumar, maybe a few others?) tend to be just as some wobbly as cheap X-style stands!
Beautiful sound it’s so organic & rich. Inspiring to listen to. Great playing too sir.
Thank you!
It sounds sensational, I like it a lot, greetings from Mexico 🇲🇽
Glad you enjoy it!
You play with class man... Sounds amazing
Thanks a lot!
Korg nailed it! The others don't even come close! Trust me! I've repaired and modded many! This is the real deal!
Thank you for this Information!
Nice cover this is brilliant I have been thinking about buying one of these keyboards Thank you for the beautiful cover of Red Clay
Thank you!
Good choice ! Got the same (88s)
The Rhodes sound here was improved with a 10 band equalizer and so it is more fresh on TH-cam.
Beautiful bell tone

I have the SV1, I think the Rhodes still sound good!

Великолепно!
That's a great sound!
I would recommend replacing it with a four-legged keyboard stand. The touch and responsiveness of the keys should be very different.
Thank you for the recommendatation. I‘ve thought about that too.

Amazing play
Thanks ✌️
If your version of the theme is correct, I‘ve played it wrong for nearly 50 years. 🫣
Anyway, sounds amazing. 👍
You can hear the original recording of Freddy Hubbard on TH-cam!
Is that electric piano digital or analog?
The Sounds of the Korg SV2 are „digital“, sampled sounds of the original Instruments.
