The MonaLisa Twins are chameleons, changing for every song they play, whether it's a scorcher like "My Generation" or something as gentle as "If I Fell." The way they become music that came out decades before they were born is just incredible. They are incredible.
I'm 76 years old, and I think it's just great that you twins and your band mates are keeping alive all those great pop and rock hits that I loved when I was much younger. Long may you continue to entertain us all. I almost forgot, the Gretsch head stock cam is a cool novelty.
Absolutely brilliant, not just the fact that their playing and singing was fantastic they all went into their little world of where ever you want to go,Mona and Lisa and of course the lads well done,T and N
I love this. I was raised on The Who, much more than most bands. Your inner rockers released. Letting it all out. Tell us how you feel! So much to love. I just love how you take it and just completely rock out. This is how it should be done. This is fantastic.
Another fantastic performance from these fabulous Austrian twins ... they inject their energy and joy into the songs, making the new one again. it's great to hear, great to see, one more track from their wonderful album Live at Cavern Club .. I loved it ..
Fantastic performance !. Super all round here !. Also a nod to the “ Camera Man”. Terrific work. A lot of thought and great ideas here. Especially, semi “ frozen shots”, of the Gretsch Headstock. Unbeatable !. So enjoyable !. Greetings and Best Wishes, From an Ageing Jazzman.
Absolute fabulous job with the song and also the vintage period equipment. The Gretch, Hoffner bass, Ricky guitar, VOX amp, small old drumkit. All of which gave the actual sound of that original recording and what better place to play than the famous Cavern? Hats off! 🌮🥃🥂🍻🍻🍻🍺🍺👏👏👏👍👍😄❤️❤️❤️🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
Very nice. And from one of my favourite places in the world. Wonder if I will ever be there again. Hope so - such acoustics. Such history. For all its warts!
Mona and Lisa and the guys KILL this. Amazing. Great, tight, hard rock. And they're having so much fun! Pete should be proud. What a kick it must have been to play so many nights in a place with so much history.
2020 ends so nicely listening to this :-))... I hope 2021 is better for these talented girls and they get the recognition they should and thoroughly deserve ;-))...
Thank You Girls for another great performance..this whole “Live” album is one of the greatest Live albums I’ve ever heard...clean..crisp..damn near flawless...kudos to your George Martin...Papa Rudi...for his expertise in recording and sound engineering this fabulous Live at the Cavern Club.....as a radio DJ and talent coordinator / emcee of “Live” shows for many years I can honestly say THIS ALBUM IS AMONG THE BEST I’VE EVER HEARD. !!
Mona you killed that!!!!!!! The Energy you both have just blows me away!!!!!! A new album of originals coming out shortly and I believe it's going to be their best to date!! I am just a huge fan from Denver and but I would promote these ladies playing and singing anywhere and anything!!!!! They definitely have my heart!!!!!!! Join the Fun!!!!!!!!
I'm sure Keith and John are looking down with great big smiles!! You did good girls......you did real good! ✌️🎵☮ (......pretty sure Roger and Pete are proud, too.)
Great performance, great video, great venue. Live at The Cavern is fabulous and fun. Thanks for all of the great music. You made my year brighter. Wishing you good health and happiness throughout the year ahead. Cheers!
Absolutely fantastic. THE WHO have been my all time favourite band since I was ten years old & you guys have this nailed. Let’s hope 2021 is a lot more Rock n Roll the 2020.👍🇬🇧🎸🎤🎼🎼🎼🎼👍

OMG, you guys really just love this stuff don't you? Your energy is unstoppable and your music always makes me smile, keep doing what you're doing, making people happy.
I love to see Mona unleash her inner 'rocker chick' on a song like this one. It's very intoxicating. Thank you. Stay safe, take care of those you love, and do have a Happy New Year! 🎉🍸🎇
🤣 You get the feeling there's a 'wild thing' that's going to burst out any moment now! They have done a version of it but I don't remember in Mona or Lisa sang the main.
Pete Townsend had big numbers stenciled on his guitars when I saw him in 78-79? In Germany all day outdoor concert Nuremberg. He smashed his guitar that day, the first time in a long time.

One of the best MLT covers ever in my opinion. You look like you are having a great time playing it, too. I agree with other people here that is a great OldYear/NewYear treat! Thanks for staying groovy through all of 2020s junk.
I have two favorite twins now. You two who are easy to tell a part, and another set who do all kinds of music and keep their identities secret I visited your country when the family and I were stationed in Germany. I bought a tee shirt that said " There are no kangaroos in Austria".
Lol, love it. Lisa you mouthed it and love you girls for that. Subtle enough that few saw it but this girl, me, had it pop right out. Mona screaming, moving with class and pounding the vocals, Lisa being a wild thing on stage, what more could we want to dump 2020 and hopefully see a light for 2021. Happy New Years girls and thank you for being you. 🤟
Siete un complesso meraviglioso, che suonate della musica incantevole. Tutto questo proviene dal vostro cuore e dall'anima che c'è in voi. Buon Anno. Grazie mille ciao.
Absolutely bloody brilliant, outstanding. What a fabulous end to 2020. (Been pretty rubbish up to now.) So good I watched it twice! Thanks, Mona and Lisa!
Fantastic rendition of a classic Who tune MLT's. I should know as I am one who belongs to that generation they were singing about. Have a very Happy New Year & we are all looking forward to what you have in store for us in 2021! Be well & stay safe! ❤❤❤❤😉😉😉😉
Ok I take it back the bass guitarist is as involved as anyone else! 🤪. . . great to see you all having such a ball! I love it that Charlie the drummer reminds me of 'Animal' from Sesame Street' 🤣
Mona's lead vocals on this song is a huge wow!!!! This Who classic never sounded so good. Lisa's masterful guitar work on this would make Pete Townsend proud. Again rock and roll at it's finest with the superb on stage playing finesse of Mona and Lisa, the incomparable premiere rock stars today!
Pretty cool and I dig this band but pump the brakes on "This Who classic never sounded so good"? Stop. There's not an ounce of thunder, mayhem or recklessness in their playing. Anyone can play the notes, man. It's how you play them that matters.
@@littlemisswaterlover1367 The Who are absolutely awesome! But what's the point if MLT play exactly like them, doesn't bring any value. They add their unique style which does the song superb justice in it's own right and honors the Who, and adds value, and to my ears never sounded so good. YMMV (your mileage may vary). I'm glad they did not have to smash up their guitars in the process. :)
Iam a big fan of the who this really put smile on my face iam off to get cd keep it up lady's 👍
Thaaanks 🙌

My favourite part is that they're having huge fun!
Rare to see. The music business hasn't stolen their souls yet.
They are still smiling. 😄👍❤
my favorite part is when they stop playing .
Billville111, the music business will NEVER steal the MonaLisa Twins souls.

I grew up in the 60's and the music was AWESOME! 😄😎
Wow, that was tight and crisp! It shows that rock is “generationless.” Doing justice to the Cavern Club!
Was there ever a more energetic performance from MonaLisa twins?
Incredible - I want more of the same!!
Thanks Twins 😊 ....your generation is about to cause a BIG sensation

This song was really written for future generations like you, to cover so expertly! Bravo!

This is awesome! Mona Lisa Twins and Lady Shelters keep the best music alive!
No musical instruments were harmed in the making of this song--unlike when The Who performed it!
Ha Ha , good one! I never could understand the destruction of musical instruments...
It may have started when Jerry Lee Louis set fire to his Steinway grand...Gota love “THE WHO”
