    I don't regularly get teary eyed listening to Bach, but the clarity of tone and depth of feeling in this gorgeous interpretation did it for me. World class.

    Теперь я точно знаю, что значит "убить двух зайцев") Это когда красивая девушка красиво играет на гитаре) Сам преподаю гитару, играю некоторые части из лютневых сюит, и поэтому знаю, какой колоссальный труд был Вами проделан, прежде чем Бах зазвучал красиво и убедительно. Мне тоже нравится, когда темп более умеренный. Когда эта прелюдия играется быстро, у меня, например, возникает чувство, как будто я не успеваю насладиться красотой пьесы. Вообще, мне кажется, Бахом надо, прежде всего наслаждаться. С большим удовольствием послушал сюиту в вашем исполнении. Благодарствуем! Так держать! Добра Вам, здоровья и удачи!

    Beautifully done, Gohar! 👏👏👏
    Absolutely loved it! The tempo of the prelude is so appropriate, and the way you transition to the Fugue, which was breathtaking, and each movement after till the Double so immaculately done!
    Bravo!!

    Incredible performance Gohar!! The Sarabande was my favorite…until you played the Gigue…until that Double. How did you sustain such a legato bass line on that final movement? Amazing. Thanks for sharing this.

    • @GoharVardanyan
      @GoharVardanyan  3 ปีที่แล้ว +26

      Thank you!!!! I’m glad you enjoyed it!!!! I usually practice everything very slowly, which allows me to hear when notes get cut off… I always try to keep the bass line connected, it makes everything sound more legato. Unfortunately, there were some places I couldn’t connect the notes as well, because I had to reuse the same left hand finger on different strings.

    • @scottbrandenberg9567
      @scottbrandenberg9567 3 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      @@GoharVardanyan Thanks Gohar for sharing your approach. Slow practice is a pretty amazing method! In addition to sustaining the bass notes for the required duration, I think legato playing requires a continuity of volume and tone that you handled very well. I understand there are times when your fingers simply can't hold a note, but you made it seem very connected.

    • @GoharVardanyan

      Thank you! Yes, slow practice is magical, I highly recommend it! It's mentally exhausting though hahaha :)

    I may be getting old, but I always considered Sharon Isben's rendition of this the definative version. But as new players come along they raise the bar, and you are certainly one of them. I would love to hear you explore and perform more baroque music -kind of like the way John Williams did with his "The Baroque Album" collection back in the day. Besides the usual suspects (lol) of Bach and Scarlatti, there are lots of little gems that are rarely played by world class players like you who have a spotlight and an opportunity to bring musical magic into this world. Roncalli and a lot of neglected works by S.L. Weis (outside of his suites or 'sonatas') come to mind.
    Wonderful performance! You never cease to impress! Much love....

    Барэв, Го'ар! В одном из интервью вы говорили, что ".... но для его достойного исполнения необходимо огромное количество времени и безупречное техническое совершенство... Я играю его [Баха] дома ради собственного удовольствия". Насколько я могу понять, вы, Го'ар, теперь достигли вершин технического совершенства и можете порадовать своих подписчиков :) ... Мне очень понравилось! Спасибо! PS. И вам, чтобы играть произведения И.С. Баха, не потребовалась 10-струнная гитара! Думаю, что Н. Йепес был бы приятно удивлён.

    That's quite a disciplined tempo on the Prelude! It sounds as if you are hovering around 70 BPM which allows the piece to breathe. A bit of, wind between the trees if you will. Too often players rush thru the prelude and the subtleties get lost. That tempo pairs well with your phrasing. Thanks for uploading and sharing. Fantastic job.

      I started learning it in the Spring of 2020, on and off, sometimes taking long breaks from it to prioritize other rep. If you go back far enough, there are posts of me practicing this back then too. No way could I play the Fugue in two weeks, the sarabande and Gigue maybe… the Fugue and the Double needed time. Prelude… if it’s the only thing I practiced, I could do it sooner.

    If I could make a small suggestion, The fugue being so long,

    La majestuosa y compleja sabiduría musical de Bach. Una impecable ejecución en la guitarra llevada a cabo con gran sensibilidad. Gracias por este momento mágico que de pronto ha llenado el espacio de belleza.

    Perfection and Great Artistry. I had the opportunity to hear Gohar in concert recently on the University of RI campus. What an amazing concert.
