- PNB just announced a 5.25% dividend for their flagship fund, Amanah Saham Bumiputera (ASB), for 2023.
I share my thoughts on it as well as show a comparison of directly investing into ASB vs investing via ASB Financing
Apply for ASBF via Maybank (www.maybank2u.com.my/maybank2...)

Thanks for supporting!
I would like to ask, I have no problem to pay my ASBF. But the interest 4.7% I have asked the bank and they cannot reduce the rate. Is it better I terminate and just take a new ASBF without or lowest takaful with higher financing amount?
Yep I would give it a try. Speak to Maybank and see if they can give you what you’re looking for
The background music is kinda distracting. Other than that, the content is bomb
Thanks for the feedback!
for non bumi, can I take ASBF loan and invest in S&P 500?
Nope, asbf loan is purely for asb haha the money doesn’t go to your bank acc
I want to ask should I put my money in versa or asb as emergency saving?
Personal preference. Versa is slightly more liquid since asb has a max monthly withdrawal of RM2k
@@MillennialFinanceMalaysia Im 21 this year so for long term should I go with asb. I don't have plan to withdraw the money, just want to have some fund for my future 😅
The apr on asb is higher right as for versa you still have to pay for the management fee of 0.3 something right?
Only thing for Muslim. US ETF not syariah complaince. HLAL is a good option though
There’s ISDU, ISDE and ISDW iirc
Yep HLAL is decent, check out SPUS too :)
Thanks! will check those out as well.
Well I dont know I must be old school as I would rather not having any loan except for buying property 😂
That’s understandable, lots of ppl are like that. Not an issue haha, end of the day it’s preference
I still invest directly to ASB amd now GX Bank
Good choices!
