- George Galloway celebrated a significant win in the Rochdale by-election, describing it as a "shift in political dynamics" away from the Labour Party.
Galloway secured nearly 40% of the vote in a tumultuous election marked by the Gaza conflict.
In his victory speech at Rochdale leisure centre, Galloway criticised Sir Keir Starmer and Rishi Sunak, but his remarks were interrupted by hecklers.
He specifically addressed Starmer, linking the victory to Gaza and expressing disapproval for Starmer's role in the ongoing crisis there.

I voted labour my entire life, my parents always voted labour all their lives but we will no longer vote labour. We will seek candidates other than the 2 main parties. We need to strengthen this democracy. Politicians should be our representative and not a righthand man for coorporations and foreign states.
