I have 2: Lily who is 1 year old (who turns out is a boy), and Marigold who is a month and a half old. Lily is a brat but does his job gaurding the ducks. Marigold is a sweetie.

Fascinating and very interesting. Do you know if they get on with other animals, eg (call) ducks and (female) chickens as part of a flock? I am thinking of adding a goose couple to my flock, and this breed is of interest. But as they will be added to an existing small flock, I am curious about how they intermingle or protect others in the flock.
I can't speak from personal experience in having one with our flock, but I hear that Chinese white geese can also be a great option. I am still doing some research, but someone that follows this channel has personal experience with them.
My 2 Sebestopol geese are in a flock of 6 ducks and do just fine
I'm struggling to find much information, but my gander has no lobes (that I can tell), one hen has one lobe and my other hen has two lobes. Is this normal?
In terms of goose, I think you should consider Sebastopols as they would be perfect for your needs. Ethan would be thrilled to have them as well. Speaking of which? What is happening with the pigeons?

can they be used as a guard goose?
Mine is a guard goose. Lily - who is actually a boy - takes no fucks when strangers shown up. He will hiss and honk and run at people. But he don't bite
