    If you don’t have a crystal katana or a gem tool to pick up your crystals, then just use a crayon. That’s it! Crayons actually work! And sooo much cheaper and convenient ;-)

    Thank you for this technique. I did my first gel builder on press on nails coffin style glass slipper style (encapsulated purple pink glitter inside) I am stoked because they came out so bomb!!! I used the jewelry gel and a top coat you’ve got to try by china glaze called for rhinestones only I mixed the two just how you did it and they are on baby. 💜💜💜 Thank you again please do more of these videos 🥰🥰💕💕💕

    How does the Top Coat not mix with the MISSU Jewellery Gel? In other words, does the Jewellery Gel get on the brush of the No Wipe Top Coat?

    • @NailswithCourtneyCrosbie
      @NailswithCourtneyCrosbie  7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      +Nicki Madden the jewellery gel is super thick. You just lay the top coat over it and it stays put. You have to brush it over lightly but not that light.. Xx

    Thank you for this tutorial. It was very helpful. Now, how do you get them off?!? I have swarovski crystals embedded in hard gel. I can't get them off. I have nippers, nail clippers and a sanding band. The e-file makes it too hot on my nail bed. I have just been adding crystals on the new growth but eventually my nail is going to get too long!! Any help would be appreciated.

    • @NailswithCourtneyCrosbie

      You can just set them in topcoat but it won't last as long. If you have a builder gel, or acrylic, you can use those too. :)

    I bought many stuck glue to stick the rhinestones but they come out so easily by my finger . But when I used base coat it doesn't come out by my finger .
    Maybe after one or two day will come off .... Who using base coat to stick the rhinestones ? Is it good as glue ?

    • @NailswithCourtneyCrosbie
      @NailswithCourtneyCrosbie  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I've tried it with rubber base coat, it works well, but if it gets warm in the bath or shower etc.. , it goes quite soft so they come out much easier then. In this video I use a jewelry gel, and a non wipe topcoat, this works better than just base.

      +Patricia Busch hi :) you can get jewellery gel from www.missubeauty.com. You don't have to use a no wipe topcoat. I get my pixie gems from www.urbansparkles.co.uk :)

      Hi there this is great because i have this jewelrygel but i didnt apply it the right way. i follow misssu instagram and she told me that the gel works best with the misssu no wipe topcoat and put gel around the stones cure again and it will stay on the nails for weeks. But youre doing it totally different. So now im confused 😔

    • @NailswithCourtneyCrosbie
      @NailswithCourtneyCrosbie  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      BonitaMorena83 hiya, the technique I use is the same that Tony Ly from missu uses. If you sink that gem into the jewellery gel and no wipe topcoat and double cure, they will stay. You need a good layer of jewellery gel and You need to make sure you press it in and squish the gel out from under it. Ofcourse it's best to use the missu top coat as well but it's not essential. Give it a try :)

    • @BonitaMorena83
      @BonitaMorena83 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nails with Courtney Crosbie Hi okay, i will do that. Thanks so much 😙😙😙

    Tried this technique...stayed perfect on one hand and the other hand just peeled off with all the stones still attached and I buffed both hands happened twice ended up just using glue on that hand😞

    • @NailswithCourtneyCrosbie
      @NailswithCourtneyCrosbie  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ah that's disappointing. I have noticed if the stones aren't pushed right into the gel so it all squishes out around it, or if it's not cured long enough, they don't last. But good you got them to stay with glue!

    • @cassyspunk

      Everything came off on my nails, peeled the whole thing off. I wonder how you keep everything solid. Do we have to use gel polish? I used normal maybe that’s the problem??

    • @NailswithCourtneyCrosbie
      @NailswithCourtneyCrosbie  7 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      loominL ah no. If you're using regular nail Polish, your best bet is to let the color Polish dry completely, then use a 180 grit file to rough up the spot you're wanting the gems. Then use some nail glue to stick it on. You don't want to go over the gems with topcoat, but a little bit of topcoat around it would help it last xo
