thank you for the tutorial. i tried the first method and it worked perfectly. i used to go to a nail artist to get encapsulated nails and its really cool that i can do them myself. it certainly saves me a lot of money lol.
That is a brilliant hack! Have curled large glitters around an orange-wood stick to curve them, which does work, but now I can do all of them in one go. Awesome tip. So quick and easy.
I love u, this is very helpful. I mostly avoided big glitter stuff. I also have these leaves at home but they never were really flat on the nail n it made me mad. Now with ur tip I'm gonna try it again 💜
Love this video! In the future can you include a step using regular nail polish? I developed a sever nail allergy to dip, gel and polygel. I can only use regular nail polish now but I still love cute nails! 😍
OMG... Why didn't I see this last week. What a nightmare! One nail at a time using plastic wrap to flatten. Stupid leaves moving all over the place. THANK YOU💜💜
Excellent hack with the stamper to flatten the bits. I'm going to try this glitter tip on my short natural nails with regular polish and SH Gel top coats. I subbed too! tfs!
Your channel is terrific!! Your tutorials are in depth and informative, I also appreciate you listing the products in the description section. I know it’s A LOT of work and I’m sure all your subscribers are grateful. 🥰
I have the flashlight that you were showing in your video but my clear stamper is too big to fit inside like yours. Can you tell us what clear stamper you were using? Thanks so much and I love your videos
Great idea using the light and stamper I just did leaves and some of the points were still sticking up so I filed it and much better!! Thank you for this great info!!
What is the "clear gel " you use to secure the shapes in the second method ? Ty, just learning & confused with primer, nail glue, builder gel, etc - after the base coat & color gel --- ? Thanks so much Loving your videos
Hi, I'm a nail enthusiasts. Just wondering if you have any tips on flattening shapes using regular nail polish. Gel is a bit above my budget and I've no experience with gels
With large glitters like this you need something thicker to encapsulate them, unfortunately it won’t work with regular polish and they will likely be bumpy
My chunky glitters must just be too chunky cause they won't flatten. I also have a much thinner nail with a c curve. I'm assuming that makes it much more difficult
Literally struggling and have to redo two of my press on nails because what I was coming up with wasn’t working 😭 crossing my fingers this works cuz I’m changing the design otherwise 💀😭😭
Hi Katie, I've tried that and noticed it left s film on the nail as I tried to add the topcoat and it started to separate. I had to wipe it before the topcoat is placed and the glitter pooped off. I also wiped off the silicon stamper numerous times and it still separated. Any advice is appreciated.
I would probably use top coat instead of base coat. It tends to behave a little better when you do extras. For example when I use gold leaf, I apply it to a top coat and seal it with another top coat.
It took me longer then I’d care to admit to figure out that you are using “practice fingers” here. 🤦🏻♀️ Other than that, I LOVE this look and cannot wait to play with this technique.
I was using a tip, so I did not do any shaping. Just using the tip to demonstrate the nail art technique. They are actually a nice shape, but may not fit the fake finger perfectly, maybe giving the “triangle” illusion you’re seeing…. But it really isn’t the purpose of the video.
Never would've thought of using the UV flashlight with the clear stamper like this! Great tip!
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for this video. There are not too many tutorials on incapsulating glitter on short nails, where is not too much room for a big design.

That is a brilliant hack! Have curled large glitters around an orange-wood stick to curve them, which does work, but now I can do all of them in one go. Awesome tip. So quick and easy.
Omg this genius, I’ve been struggling with chunky glitter!

Brilliant idea with the stamper and UV.

I don’t use any regular nail polish so I would not be the best for that type of video 🙃
OMG... Why didn't I see this last week. What a nightmare!
One nail at a time using plastic wrap to flatten. Stupid leaves moving all over the place.

I’ve tried that too. It’s so annoying! Glad to help ❤️

Where would I get the uv flashlight with stamper?
magpiebeautyusa.com/products/magpie-led-light-with-silicone-sponge?_pos=6&_sid=feae66a59&_ss=r
How do you attach the the clear stamp to the flashlight
it just sticks in there by itself!
Where. Am I find a UV light nail stamper?
How do you clean the stamp head afterwards especially if you haven't hovered enough at start? Is just the normal way on lint remover tape 🤔
You can cure the stamper and the gel will peel right off if there’s any gel left on it. Or you can use a little bit of alcohol to clean it. ☺️
@@NailsByKatieDutra that's great thank you. Love the video, great tip 🙌🏻👏🏻

Yes I don’t wanna use polygel I love

I’m sorry, I have not experienced that! 😕

What kind of products do you use
Not sure if youre talking about the builder gel, but I use Akzentz 😃

Do this what they mean when they say do it this way thank you!!
WHAT 😳😳😳
😂normally I don’t criticize, and this video was very informative, but holy smokes the shape of the black mail was a straight triangle. Yikes!
