This isn't really related to this video (which, btw - all of these look STUNNING!!), but I just needed to tell you: Because of you, I have really gotten into nails & I am so very appreciative. In school, nails were my least favorite thing to do - I absolutely dreaded everything about it. But since watching your videos, I have found out why some people love it. Thank you for budding that curiosity within me to grow my nails, change them as much as I want, & venture out to try new things. You are a FLAWLESS teacher, so easy to follow & a dream to listen to! Thank you thank you thank you from the bottom of my heart
So glad I found this tutorial! I don't use curing gel polishes I just use nail polish but love the encapsulated look and didn't know how to achieve the look. Super thrilled and can't wait to try.
All are gorgeous! Thank you for sharing your tips. Your work speaks for itself but I have to say I have learned quite a bit from your channel and from your clear instructions. I do appreciate when someone shares their knowledge. I'm not a nail tech. I just do my own and occasionally my Mom's. Needless to say, I'm vastly improved thanks to you and a couple of others who kindly post instructions like these. Thanks again 😊
Dacia Helm I'm not a nail tech either I just love doing my own nails from the comfort of my own home and like you I have learnt so much from watching Natasha's videos and buying glitters, tools and accessories from her website. Natasha is so knowledgable and so generous in sharing her tips and secrets of the trade. I've been on a UK forum website where several nail techs were discussing how some nail gel websites supply their products to just anyone instead of only supplying to fully qualified professional nail techs who can prove their qualifications by showing their certificates - what a bunch of snobs! Also like yourself I really appreciate Natasha sharing her wide expanse of knowledge - thank you so much Natasha!
I agree I love when artists share their techniques and they actually make it easy to follow... meanwhile other artists on here (TH-cam) or Instagram for instance don't even answer a question from their fans
If you wllant a ombre design then add differend colors of nail polish in a stripe pattern on a sponge abd sponge ut on yoyr naills. There are enough turorials on You Tube for that.
Wow. Beautiful all I like to work more with regular nail polish so that way the video is perfect for me. Thanks and i never think to use foil glue for the glitter very good tip. *Saludos🥰🇨🇴*
FABULOUS PRESENTATION! I just subscribed to your channel not only because you’re so on point but you have a pleasant voice and that accent is so adorable
Please could you do a halloween design with your glitters collection? I think some "granite" black cats and "ginger" jack o lantern, maybe with "siren" as the background color? 🐈🎃
Thank you so much for this video! I never could figure out before about putting glitter onto the sticky layer - I didn't know if I should clean off the sticky layer first or what. Does it work the same way with flakies? I'm having trouble with that too.
KimShea22 Yes. The only thing that is different is the chrome powders. With them you want to use a “no wipe top coat.” Otherwise, with glitter and flakies you want the tacky layer for it to stick to. 💜💅
Quick question: when doing the sprinkle glitter into (uncured) gel top coat method would you recommend using a no wipe top coat or one that has the inhibition layer in order to keep the glitter on the nail for longer?
I know you are probably not going to see this but I have a quick question. In an earlier video I watched (I can't remember which one) you said that you used an acetone resistant top coat over your polygel to make it last longer. Which one did you use?
I luv your channel Natasha! Congratulations on your new product line. Are you going to create an "acrylic at home" set? It would be so amazing if you did!
When I first saw your entire line, these glitters caught my eye! I don’t use gel and didn’t know I could use these with regular nail polish (which I have a lot of!). Thank you for sharing this video!!
I'm having a problem with the 3rd gel look, the one without top coat. I love this look a lot but my top coat doesnt seem to cure underneath the black glitter powder I tried. It started coming off the next day with the top coat being sticky and just sliding off with the glitter when scratched. I did cure it for longer than i usually would. What could be the problem?
I’ve had this same issue and was hoping this video would clear that up, I used gold glitter once and could immedly tell the gel underneath hadn’t cured
My issue: when you've applied glitter bare like you've done in second nail my glitter just looks like gravel and loses ALL shine completely. Then the 3rd I'm afraid that once you've washed your hands or something it's again gone dull and lost its sparkle completely and have turned into a gravel look.
i keep finding that when i follow these instructions, when i put the top coat on it completely takes away the shimmer? it just becomes textured and shiny
No, the only thing that happens is the glitter will be less scratchy but once it is fully cured you will need to scrub your nails with a nail brush. Also cure your nails for double the amount of time!
I'm not a nail tech, but I know that sometimes polish will peel if it gets on the cuticles or if the layers are too thick. Also if you use your nails a lot then polish or gel chips sooner, and if you the layers are too thick then they can peel off. And oily nails can cause peeling also.
Hey guys, thanks for your replies. Primer isn't needed since I use Gel polish. The problem is, the base and 1. color coat wears perfectly fine. The nails peel in between the layers of polish. And always there where the glitter is. Almost as if the second color layer doesn't get cured well! Tried to leave it in the lamp for double the time, still peeling! My preparation is good, normal colors last 3 weeks. I'm also not painting my skin, and I'm doing thin layers 😅. I think its just the glitter thing in general (tried different ones, same results). I never have any problems with normal colors. Not even with chrome...
Why should I need a primer if it lasts for 3 weeks already? That would make removal unnecessarily difficult. Also, it depends on the product that you use. Even the company says I don't need a primer ... Buffing and dehydrating is normally enough if you don't use crappy gel polish :)!
I love that you showed how to do all three techniques on both gel polish and nail polish :)
Thank you for mentioning that I was wondering about that ☺️
I've been watching this video for years! I love the clean esthetic, voice over & super thorough steps.

Wow I've never thought of using foil glue for glitter! That's so useful and I'm going to do it right now immediately
Hi Rosalie,
How did you go trying the foil glue with glitter over the top ?

Beautiful!!!! Just one request... Can you show how to use your glitters in an ombre design? Thank you and love watching your videos!!!!
If you wllant a ombre design then add differend colors of nail polish in a stripe pattern on a sponge abd sponge ut on yoyr naills. There are enough turorials on You Tube for that.
I second the request for ombré glitter tutorial 💞
Wow. Beautiful all I like to work more with regular nail polish so that way the video is perfect for me. Thanks and i never think to use foil glue for the glitter very good tip.

Emma Levine OMG that's a great idea!!! So excited for Halloween 🎃👻

@@StitchesbySharonH great info. I'm new to doing gel on myself so there's still some things idk. Thanks!
KimShea22 Feel free to ask me any questions you have. I’m more than happy to help! 😊💜
Great video! Very informational and easy to follow. Plus your glitter is beautiful!
Okay so I trier the glitter method with regular polish and I LOVED how it turned out!
That glitter is so gorgeous on its own i can stare at it all day 😍
Ha just finished watching your swatches of your fab new collection and then saw this and realised it will answer my question. ☺️
Thanks! Great video, very helpful 🙂
So when you do the first one do you coat each nail with polish then glitter one at a time or all together? Like will the gel sticky coat dry a little?
Could I use gel top coat to hold the glitter on top of regular polish?
Quick question: when doing the sprinkle glitter into (uncured) gel top coat method would you recommend using a no wipe top coat or one that has the inhibition layer in order to keep the glitter on the nail for longer?
Definitely a no cleanse if you can to avoid the sticky layer ♥️
Gorgeous! How long do you usually leave each coat of polish to dry? X
Ooooo I have been waiting for this ! 😍✨
I think you looked into my dreams to create that incredibly gorgeous green, thank you 💚💚💚💚💚😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
this was a great video! thank you

What regular top coat do you use? I looked on your amazon list but I didn’t see one. Thanks!
Brilliant, just what I was looking for! Thanks for sharing!
Pls help...what kind of top coat do I use that needs to be cured?? I am new at this & confused . Your help would be appreciated. Ty.
😊🙏💕💐💃
Catherine
Super helpful. I am going to try this! Tfs.
Question: the sprinkle onto top coat technique, does the glitter come off even after curing?
beautiful, how do you remove it from regular nails?
Lovely glitter and greets ways to apply too. TFS Natasha 😁🙋🏻💕
Hi Natasha, your nails always look beautiful!!!!!!!!!! Can you let me know who done your logo in your salon please. Thank you x
Gorgeous beautiful ❤❤❤❤
I LOVE YOUR SKILL
How do you ask for the 3rd method when getting your nails done??
When I first saw your entire line, these glitters caught my eye! I don’t use gel and didn’t know I could use these with regular nail polish (which I have a lot of!). Thank you for sharing this video!!
Your vids r awesome, I've had all this stuff for ages and never knew how to use it all. Thanks so much. ♥
your voice is so relaxing
Omg i need that triangle tray, such a simple but awesome idea!
Can I do this with chunky glitter too?
I'm having a problem with the 3rd gel look, the one without top coat. I love this look a lot but my top coat doesnt seem to cure underneath the black glitter powder I tried. It started coming off the next day with the top coat being sticky and just sliding off with the glitter when scratched. I did cure it for longer than i usually would. What could be the problem?
I’ve had this same issue and was hoping this video would clear that up, I used gold glitter once and could immedly tell the gel underneath hadn’t cured
What's your 1st choice foil glue?, I've had terrible luck:(
My issue: when you've applied glitter bare like you've done in second nail my glitter just looks like gravel and loses ALL shine completely. Then the 3rd I'm afraid that once you've washed your hands or something it's again gone dull and lost its sparkle completely and have turned into a gravel look.
I've got the same issue/concern
This Glitter!!! Sooo Pretty!!!! 😍
Very informative and well explained.. Thank You :)
i keep finding that when i follow these instructions, when i put the top coat on it completely takes away the shimmer? it just becomes textured and shiny
Same with me
Thank you!🪴🌹🌻🌿
Thank you for posting this!
thank you! 💕☁️
Burnished and sugar are my favorite ways to apply loose glitter!
But with the sugar method, do little pieces of glitter come off, like throughout the day on your face etc? It's so pretty but im scared
No, the only thing that happens is the glitter will be less scratchy but once it is fully cured you will need to scrub your nails with a nail brush. Also cure your nails for double the amount of time!
Excellent video. Thank you.
Her voice is so soothing
Thank you sooo much this is so helpful!!!
Everytime with I applying glitter on the nails it always comes there's glitter all over the place what to do to prevent that.
Hello! How long do you cure for? Thanks!
Those are so pretty 😁 I love glitter ✨❤️
Ms Lee I know I'm late to the party but very informative.
Gorgeous! 💜💅
Thank u so much ❤💯
Omg thanks so much❤
Beautiful
What to do to clean our under nails tips as it catches dirt and gets so ugly? Struggling!
Get a nail brush and wash your hands with soap and do the same with soap on your nails
Tfs I know a few who need this video 💜💖💜💖💜
Hello..why my colour layer after cured is not sticky? ???😣😣😣😣
Thank you!! You just saved my life 😍
These are such great tips thanks so much!!! 🖤🖤🖤
So glad that I’m you enjoyed it ♥️
Thank you for sharing this video very helpful and explained in great detail great tutorial:-):-):-)
Quick question- does anyone know how to prevent getting glitter IN your top coat bottle after applying top coat to the glitter on your nails?
Wipe the brush off
When I top coat after the glitter the glitter all sticks to my top coat brush 🫣😳
I think you're from Germany 🇩🇪, because of your English tone ❣️
I m french and i love your video😍😍
Thank you Aurelie ♥️
I did the 3rd one and my top coat did not dry :( so all my glitter came off
Why do people buff the after a glitter press with gel polish
Super
Love 💜 🖤
God has send u my way🙏, thank you for this video, help me out some hours a go, just getting to leave a comment thanks 👍👍👍👍
I tried the third method but the glitter chipped off😭
More designs
With method 2 my nails start to peel after a few days, but for me its the most beautiful version :(.
Try a good primer like you would use for acrylic nails. I have found that even with regular polish a good primer helps it to last several days longer.
I'm not a nail tech, but I know that sometimes polish will peel if it gets on the cuticles or if the layers are too thick. Also if you use your nails a lot then polish or gel chips sooner, and if you the layers are too thick then they can peel off. And oily nails can cause peeling also.

Actually, primer is still needed when using gel polish. It creates a sticky, PH-balanced surface for the product to adhere to.
Why should I need a primer if it lasts for 3 weeks already? That would make removal unnecessarily difficult. Also, it depends on the product that you use. Even the company says I don't need a primer ...
Buffing and dehydrating is normally enough if you don't use crappy gel polish :)!
I dont understand the purpose of putting colour paint on when you're just covering the whole nail in glitter 🤨
Be aware if you do the very last one, you will probably lose glitter off the nail
Has anyone ever said you sound like pod from that British makeover show
This is rad😎😎😎😎oh and im Njeri👸😻😁😀😃😊
Lol my daughter is so happy her comment got a 👍😁
Hola puedes subtitular tus vídeos en español, x favor??! Saludos

A piece of paper would do a better job than the triangle tray

I really don’t like the noises your mouth makes when you speak... (not a hate comment but a constructive one)
It’s only constructive if the person can change it 🤦♀️
Natasha Lee yeah maybe. Ypu are probably too close to the microphone I don’t know
