I've lived in Thailand for 25 years (from USA) and on Koh Samui for the last 17 of those years. The best part of Samui (which you can't really get a feel for in just 24 hours) is the local community, both expat and Thai. We really came together during the last 2 years of lockdowns. With the absence of tourists, it was like we were getting to meet each other for the first time. You knew everyone here was a local and the community support saved a lot of businesses, families and mental states. Samui is a great place to live.

@@markfitzgibbon8609 Nice! Lamai is great but be sure to check out the north side of the island. That's where almost everything is located and where most of the action is. Living in the Bhoput area is more centrally located...easy access to everything.

Hello, I am planning on visiting Koh Samui, should I be afraid of getting fever or diarrhea from local food? Thank you :)))

    • @TheFlowNetwork
      @TheFlowNetwork ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@ferooref7614 No. Local food (especially "street food") is fresh. I have had food poisoning several times....every time I got it from eating western food in a big hotel. Small, Thai shops buy small quantities of food from the market every day...fresh. Thai people will not tolerate "bad food" and any shop that is poor quality will not last long.

Wai Kru in Muay Thai ( Thai boxing ) for 3 4 reasons
    1. to commemorate the teacher's gratitude
    2. To explore the battle area because in the past, they used to use clay Explore the area where it is high and where it is low. for an advantage in battle
    3. to warm up the body and practice meditation
4.Make you know which boxing camp you come from, because each sect has its own special moves that are different

    Normally red flashing
means it is flashing for 9 seconds before going to hard red which is stop of course.
you can proceed on flashing red with caution also horizontal red line means you can turn left with caution always giving way to traffic coming from the right.
My driving instructor gave me the best advice ever.
    EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED.
    Hope this helps. 😎😎

If you guys come to Bangkok again There are many more places you will travel. And many delicious dishes. Pad Thai, tom yum goong, not the food you eat. There is a lot of food to order. You guys don't eat spicy, there are many fried noodles, basil pork, and more. which street food It will cost 40-50 baht. If you guys stay in Bangkok as long as you are in Indonesia, you will fall in love with this place and Thai fruits are so delicious that you can't find anywhere else like Thailand.

Yellow light = the driver must prepare to stop behind the stop line. If the driver who has driven past the stop line and the yellow light shows up, it should be able to keep driving.
Beware of this when driving in Thailand as many Thais won't stop at a yellow light.

I think I recognised the restaurant near Fisherman's Village, just before it started raining heavily. It looked like Ma Lee's who is an incredible cook, helped by her daughter now. She moved there pre-Covid, having been opposite 7-Eleven (at the front of the 'village') beforehand. The only problem for me, is she became so popular that she didn't need to work in the evenings, so it's lunchtime only. Hope I've got the right place.

“Pi Pi Island” is another famous one, which is in the Andaman side.
    The others:
We have “Gred Island” in BKK, old town for mostly is living by Raman people (Thais call those “Mōn”, which their great great grandparents are from Myanmar). There r many good foods, good stuff to look around.
We have “Si-shang Island”, “Laan Island” in Chonburi province which is one hr away from BKK.
We have “Good Island”, “Shang Island” in Trad province which is on the very east of Thailand closed to Cambodia. Some of these islands provide the private small jet plane flying there for customer.
O! No~~~~~~~~~~ 08:19~ U guys get the wrong background music, that is from India, it s not the song for Thailand. Please understand and get more information about that before using.
The boxers r not just dancing to waste your time. They were doing that for “respecting and thanking” to all the teachers who first created this sport and the ones (later in their generation) who have been teaching them. It s very important to do this before starting the match.
Anw, I love when u told us about how u like the Thai massage, but u may not expect the same thing in other places. Y? U need to change, coz they tried to protect your clothes and those may make them get easier to move ur body.
