We just got back to NZ from Ho Chi Minh last week. And we booked XO Tours based on this video.
And I can't thank you enough. My wife and I certainly recommend them. It was the best food tour we've ever taken. Very enjoyable and the guides were the best.

There are some back of the scooter food tours in HCMC but from what I've seen on TH-cam and research, XO tour was one of the first one and their drivers are exclusively women as that was the founder's mission, to give more opportunities to women. I also think XO tour provide insurance for the clients and their women drivers have better English skills and I can see it with these women here that did your trip. I hope you guys enjoyed the food tour and big thumbs up for your being open minded and adventuresome.

That white meat patty that Mandy likes is called Cha Lua, some westerners like (my ex gf) finds it weird as they think it taste processed. However, it’s made with fresh pork or chicken, sometimes fish/squid, and it also has flour in it, which gives it a slightly bouncy texture. It’s delicious 👌
