thank you for this video. but my quiz is, while the gen is running will the water filter really get time to settle water down?

As long as the filter is not full of water it will serve the purpose,
but if you don't drain filter and it gets full, water will the the engine.

the majority of those water separator filters are spin off type, wich means that the fuel must be ciculating at certain flow rate to achieve a corretct water separation proccess
