@TheSteadyCoach have you considered opening a discord or some sort of community for your members/followers. The inspiration I get from reading everyone’s stories and being able to talk with people going through the same thing is so relieving

Dr Yo-you are in great shape! What an inspiration! I’m trying these right now. 💪
Let me know your favorite exercise after you try it! 💪
@@TheSteadyCoach I really like the dumbbell lifts while leaning forward. It brings on my symptoms but I feel like it does in a positive way. 😀
I feel so dizzy and foggy during strength training. I used to be a personal trainer so I know my way around the gym. I tried a couple of exercises this morning and I was 10 on the dizzy scale and on the verge of passing out. I have not recovered yet.
Hi! Dr. Sharon and Dr. Yonit! I finally have the courage to begin some of the strength training. I live in a place that does not have any equipment; therefore, I am having to use my body weight which is about 126lbs. I will also get some water bottles to use as weights eventually. My question is what modifications can I do in place of the lap pulldown and bumbell benchpress without the bench? Thank you for your help and support! I have always feared adding weights because I have injured my body with them; however, I am willing to slowly add them in especially since y'all are saying they help with ncd💪🏼
Clams workout is fire!!!!
Thank you for doing these, PPPD has trapped me in my house putting on about 70 pounds in 2 years, really hits the depression weight...I've been lately trying to get back into it, haven't finished the video yet, but i'm sure these are going to be amazing and very much appreciated
I was housebound too, had agoraphobia and thought my life was over. One day after watching one of Dr Yo's videos, I walked out my front door and around a small block of houses (around 2 mins). I also started walking in the backyard in between. Now I have no fear and even travelled interstate.
Small steps x
@@BlessedKarma10makes me excited for the future. Thanks for posting this. Has put a big strain on my marriage and mental health I just want normalcy again. Been taking the steps just excited to be there again. We moved right before this happened to the beach and just wanna enjoy it again
Everyone starts somewhere, and that somewhere can be super small. It doesn't matter how small. Just start :)
These exercises seem very difficult if any head movement provokes sensations. Laying down flat is difficult. Can they be done in bed laying down with a pillow under head?
Sure, Jeanne! Totally ok to modify that way. You can also check out the exercise library (in the video description) for alternative chest/press exercises.
I feel so dizzy and fogging
I was a huge kettlebell person. I taught people how to use them.. im all about them. How do you like them for vm/pppd? Im almost scared to start with them again.
Copying and pasting from a previous response to you, this is a great question. In general I like kettlebells and was even certified as an instructor, but they are often used for conditioning and very few people can use them for truly training power and strength the way we discussed here. For the general population, I think dumbbells are superior. Not to say kettlebells aren't good- as usual, MOVING in a way that is sustainable and fun for someone is wonderful. You can get the superior mileage for strength and hypertrophy out of less technical exercises.
@TheSteadyCoach I forgot I asked. Migraine brain..thanks for responding.
It’s a great question and deserves to be in both places ❤️
@TheSteadyCoach Thank you for saying that. What about clean and press? Farmers carries? Goblet squats? All I have are kbs, maces, and clubs.
I think a pinched nerve is what is causing it
Who do I go to for pinched nerve?
Hi Shane, if you think you're having a physical issue, then a good place to start would be a physician. Physiatrists are physicians who specialize in non-surgical treatment of muskuloskeletal issues.
