I am Italian and we make it same way except we put it in tomato sauce but I also make it southern style depending on my craving. Either way fantastic, most people don't like it because they never try it, they don't know what they are missing. Ummm.

Should’ve wrote this month’s ago. This recipe is off the chain!! Mos def!! In fact I’m preparing as we speak. Your presentation is superb and very clear with the step by step instructions. Great work, keep it up.
Glad it was helpful! I’ve made pig feet a couple times on my channel. Please let me know if you have any questions about any step I mentioned in the video
Loved your recipe!!! And I think this was my best pot of pigs feet I have made. The only difference I did was, I didn't use celery, replaced the water with broth/stock & ACV, and turned seared the feet with the seasonings before pressure cooking them. Great video!!!
I love the way you clean them before getting to the cooking. We do that too to get all the gunk out. As to the little hairs on them we cinch our. We turn on the stove element and press the parts that have the hair against the hot element🤣
Thanks for this! I’ve been wondering how to deal with the parboiling if I switched to cooking pigs feet in the Instant Pot, rather than braising in the oven or slow cooker. This clarified things for me, and I’ll give it a go!
Hi Tannis. 🤗💐🌹From Trinidad and Tobago in the West Indies Caribbean. SCRUMPTIOUS. Love your vids. I subscribe , liked, share.🕺 😋😋😋😋 I love that word " doneness". Never heard it b4.🥰🤣🤣🤣🤣😅😅😅🤣
I saw you whip out that Texas Pete and I'm like oh boy we're home now! Today will be my first time ever getting down on some trotters and you are a big help so thank you... And one quick question, I think I noticed you didn't put any salt on the feet or in the water. Is that correct?
Yessss, Texas Pete all the way!!! I did add about 2 or 3 teaspoons of Seasoned Salt to the pot but you could leave it out and just add salt at the end after you taste the cooked meat.
For a pot of 8-12 split pig feet, I would start with 1/4 cup - 1/2 cup white vinegar and let that cook down with the water.Once the pig feet are done and on your individual serving bowls, taste it and add a sprinkle more vinegar and hot sauce if that suits your taste. In the end, you should be able to taste the vinegar but not have it be overpowering
The Instant Pot is an electric pressure cooker, like a manual pressure cooker an IP builds pressure as it cooks, has a pressure regulator and release valve
@@TannyCooks I understand how they work my sister has one. I don't feel it builds enough pressure up to be able to cook like the over the stove pressure cooker. Did a test with same meat the instant pot was halfway done. I like them because it's quicker than my dutch oven which is my main go to but for pressure I use my old pressure cooker from 1960 lol. They are great cookers though.
The pig feet were fully cooked from the stove and instant pot, so I kept them in the over until fork tender to my liking, about 30 min - 1 hour. Be sure to bake them with some of the liquid from the pot and cover with foil so they stay tender in the oven.
I like adding fresh chopped veggies 🫑🧄🧅left over celery for added flavor Collagen girl👍 BONE 🦴🦴🦴 BROTH'S TURKEY NECKS ,. OX-TAILS ***HAM HOCKS and pigs feet broth and neck bones round pork bones***
I have watched several videos on pigs feet, your the only one that pours off the dirty water and replace with clean water. I thought I was doing something wrong or didnt do for the water to come out so murky.
Thank you so much for noticing that small detail! It really makes a difference to me and par boiling it that way is the way I learned to cook it from my family many years ago. And because of all the seasoning, you don't lose any flavor my making sure your pig feet and broth are extra clean :-)
You don’t have to do all that! The vinegar kills bacteria! Clean the pig feet, put in salt, vinegar, black pepper, fresh onions, black pepper and crushed red peppers! Cook 45-50 minutes via pressure cooker, check for doneness
Great video, one of the best ive seen,, love the seasonings used. but let's not forget to spread open that toe nd clean out between it nd get that toe jam out..lol..otherwise great recipe 🥰
Thanks for watching! Great tip about cleaning the toes. I clean between everything when I first soak them in vinegar and then again after I par boil them in plain water to get the extra gunk off- but that clip may not be in this video.
The camera doesn't show you everything. People do alot of steps outside of the camera. Why don't you do what you normally do to clean them and take the recipe because it's a great one.

Hey!!!! I love pig feet, but we only eat it once a year. Trying to stay away from high blood pressure.LOL !!! Thanks For sharing. Enjoy your day!!🔥🔥☺️
I understand that! I have had good success lowering my bp naturally by eating/juicing beets and trying to water fast more often.
Beet juice is the secret to lowering blood pressure
I add LIQUID SMOKE to my pig feet, and pig tails. I have never added hot sauce nor poultry seasoning but I do add chef prudhomme meat magic

Sis why all the vinegar? 🤢
I personally like the taste of it and it is a natural meat tenderizer. But you can leave out. Some people also leave out the hot sauce.
@@TannyCooks That's how my Granny taught me to add vinegar also to
Tenderize the feet yess I need dat hot sauce to 👊🏾
Just record directions to one pot.
That was my intent when I started the video :-) But then I ended up showing everything I had to do to get all the food cooked that day
You never added measurements. Even if everyone cooks differently they should have a baseline. But I still like your recipe.
salt and pepper is all you need! garlic powder ruins it!
