5/17/24: Only 1:20 minutes of cooking? I'm surprised you don't cook them longer, especially when I've seen others cook theirs for 3 and 4 hours long. I'm just curious (and learning) why you cook yours in such a short time? Please advise. Thank you.
Yea respectfully ima pass on this method. Still way too pink for me. Should be much darker in color after cooking. I'm sure they are "done" with the pressure cooking method...I just couldn't eat them
Yeah. They may look “pink” in the thumbnail because of the lighting or because of the season salt/ hot sauce added on. In the actual video they were not even pink after I parboiled them on the stove before putting them in the pressure cooker….
Awesome follow-up to the how to clean- these look so delicious! Thanks for the guide as well! Have a great week and take care!
Those are some clean chitterlings, my absolute favorite. Haven’t had none in (22) years. Can I come to your crib? Lol
Tanny this is a very good chitterlings presentation. I will be using your method to cook my chitterlings on Thanksgiving 🦃❤️
I Love Cooking Chitterlings And Hog Maws On Thanksgiving and Christmas Love Then
I boil my first then pour out water then put in instant pot
Ok, I actually did it. My only disappointment is the final yield. I did a 5 pound bag and I think it came out to half a bowl, maybe.
Celery and onion Great

It's a pressure cooker which takes 1/2 the time of normal cooking methods
@@seanharmon7907 Chitterlings take 10 hours to cook so half time would be 5 hours
After the double boil,I cook in the instant pot and it doesn't take as long. They are very tender and almost melt in your mouth...lol
Pressure cooker

Do you think color is different based on being in video vs in person?
