@@GamersNexus for an early access game that like keeps getting updates, is more playable than most modern AAA games, and i’m pretty sure is like 13 bucks? absolutely. the dev is apparently trying to make the card game playable eventually too and even if that never comes to pass it’s still pretty cool.
How difficult would it be to assemble and program a set of electromagnets to place under the table to nudge these dice towards the number you need? Asking for a friend.

This is so awesome! My brother Kelson worked for Wizards of the coast, doing development for MTG Arena. He passed away last month but he would have loved the snowflake card! If anyone saw the sleeve with the portrait of two people getting married, that was my brother and his wife!
RIP
Haha, never would’ve guessed from the hints given.
I love this so much Steve, great job! This is such a creative and fun project that I never thought I would see on GN, but I'm so glad you are trying this. I'm sure they will sell out quick! I can't wait to see what other creative projects you have in store for the future
finally a new addiction to satisfy my needs. TCG card shop simulator ain’t cutting it anymore.
I haven't played that yet! Have heard a lot about it actually. Worth playing?
@@GamersNexus for an early access game that like keeps getting updates, is more playable than most modern AAA games, and i’m pretty sure is like 13 bucks? absolutely. the dev is apparently trying to make the card game playable eventually too and even if that never comes to pass it’s still pretty cool.
@@Zapdos0145 I'm honestly more impressed you haven't been shot by Nintendo yet. I always see you in the comments section :D
@@GamersNexus seems like a clone of the supermarket game but they are adding tons of stuff. reviews are amazing for it but no end game really.
@@GamersNexus For someone like yourself who works a lot I actually think you would fucking hate it no one in the comments pointing that out lol
How difficult would it be to assemble and program a set of electromagnets to place under the table to nudge these dice towards the number you need? Asking for a friend.
hahaha. You'd definitely be able to magnetically engage the inductors with a sufficient electromagnet, I think.
Could also add a LED, so when the coil gets energized, the LED lights up
@@GamersNexus Let's just hope that a "sufficient enough" one doesn't fry everyone's phones in the process!
@@ToTheGAMES Oh - that reminded me of a gyro ball and some spinning toy that would use kinetic energy to light up LEDs inside them. Throwing or shaking dice is probably not enough to generate a noticeable effect, though.
The problem is even if you manage to make the dice move towards the magnet, making it roll the way you want is a lot harder. I doubt even someone with a lot of resources and motivations manages any kind of consistency for anything beyond the d6.
I usually never buy youtuber merch, but Steve, your channel is one of the hardest-working and most dedicated I've seen in the entire space to delivering accurate information and news. Bought a set of the inductor dice, best of luck into the next year, keep up the great work!
Bought both sets, love to have new ways to support the channel with creative merch.
Wow! Thanks for buying both! Can't wait for them to ship out to everyone.
I received my inductor dice set today. Signed and gorgeous. Thank you so much for making this!
wow
a tabletop GN. So are we going to get an expose on the GN CEO about how she cleans herself while commanding workers to make more table tops? Shedding her hair and not cleaning up messes :P
You guys are awesome! Big smile on my face all the way through this video. Also made me remember that I haven't cried like a baby along with Tasslehoff when Flint's old heart gives out, so have to read the DragonLance Chronicles again I guess. Will absolutely buy this.
OMG Snowflake dice! 😍😻♥♥♥
I instantly HAD to order a set and share with everyone in the Company I work for that makes D&D 5e minis and Adventures.
I love it when you make a D&D rant, I just crack up every time! :) Thank you for the amazing in depth content.
Immediately after ordering this 100 supermodels were at my front door and started fighting over me. Your mileage may vary.
By far the coolest thing you have ever done. This is beautiful. Snowflake set ❤ your mother is so talented.
love it! Hope you also at some point sell the inductors/snowflakes standalone in a bag of ~50-100, as a lot of tabletop games also need marker tokens and you are free to use anything you like. For games that use tokens that dont have different denominations, they could totally be used there.
I love how creative you are with what you offer people that choose to support you.
Without a doubt, this not exactly a product I need but I appreciate you offering something in exchange for being supported. You do so much for consumers that I'll gladly support what you do. Thanks for all your tests and I'm glad to know this is going to a good cause.
This is absolutely something worth dedicating an entire video to. Super cool for us to buy, super nerdy (as all things should be), and super beneficial for you guys as a business. It's a win-win-win!
"And magnets whose properties we still don't understand..." classic!
This video had made smiling so much, the obvious passion and excitement was contagious. Such a fun idea.
I sat down for my lunch break today and there was this interest wombo combo of a video. I pleaded my friends for help, pity, something.... they only laughed at me. Two sets are now on the way.
(For real though, I'm stoked for these. I'm glad to see you all pursuing further hobbies with these, the thought into their design/parts, and just having another way to support the work you all do! I'll proudly be bringing these to D&D as soon as they arrive.)
I love the dedication to testing and reporting on your own product's performance and durability. The inclusion of actually charts is the cherry in top. Well done guys. Keep up the fantastic work!
Now this is unique and awesome. I'm glad to see such creativity from you guys. So many tubers do generic swag but not you guys!
At 2:16 I had confirmation of my order of both sets. Thanks, Steve!
I love this video, you guys being in the position you can make a product from your passions. I still have my GN Deskpad back when you and Andrew signed them, still looks new with cleaning and the signatures are still fully intact.
LOVE this! and especially love the testing undergone on the dice randomness rolls! Immediate purchase of both autographed sets for me here!
Haven't ordered anything this fast before, & I'm only 2 min into the video. Absolute banger of a product. Love y'all's content
It was in night, 2AM ob my way home from my Pen&Paper groupe as that video was released and my inner dice Goblin won the battle over the money.
Yesterday both set did arrive and not i i played thru the dice game. They are sooo amazing!!!! Thank you for all you do!!
Omg the foreshadowing for this with all the tabletop and dnd references in your other videos was perfect!
Inductor set ordered!!!! Perfect gift for my younger cousin who's super into DnD and other tech stuff!!! Love it!
These are amazing!! Just ordered one of each signed! Can't wait!! Love all the content from GamersNexus.
First time purchasing something from your store. Of course I had to get the signed Snowflake set. It's going to be a Christmas present for my wife.
Thank you so much for everything you do for us.
These look so awesome, I couldn't help myself and ordered one of each.
Thank you for all the hard work you do to keep the tech industry as honest as possible.
Hoping to roll a nat 20 on getting the Legendary Snowflake Signed Edition.
Steve and team: I've been watching you guys for years and truly appreciate all you do! Never shopped on any techtuber's store before but the moment started watching this I knew I had to. Fantastic work as always!
Got my fingers crossed for a CEO-signed set!
I got one of each set because they were pretty cool and to support you guys since you've done some great work. Also because Snowflake is adorable and I couldn't resist the lure of the tiny Snowflakes.
Thank you so much for all the good that you've doing! This is genuinely pretty cool
Stoked to order a set for me and my partner, it fits us quite well.
Design looks phenomenal on the box, and on the dice. I'm all for legibility and the color choices are perfect. Stoked to support your testing and content
Oh yeah and your mom's art is stunning
I knew that I had to have the inducter dice set immediately, but when my partner walked in the room, she freaked out the moment we saw the clip of Snowflake quality testing the dice in her likeness. So we have purchased both signed sets, and my partner is hoping that we are lucky enough to receive Snowflake's signature!
Thank you for all of the amazing content you have put out through the years, your team's attention to detail really shines through all of your videos. And of course the website is a fantastic resource whenever I am helping a friend with a new computer build. I can't afford to get your team's merch too often, but I am happy to jump in on this one. Keep up the great work Steve, and here's to many great years of content moving forward! 🍻
First thought on Title: Meh this is going to be some cheesy TTRG module or something using e-waste as counters...
Second I saw the dice and box and cards: TAKE MY MONEY!
Seriously though these looks amazing - the use of e-waste to fill the dice was genius and it honestly looks like an absolutely fantastic - I'm going to be proud to own a set - well done everyone involved!
Ordered before this video finished. You guys are a shining light on the hill
This is awesome! I always wanted to get a special dice set for my DND sessions and these are it. Thank you GN! Can't wait for more quality content.
Been watching this channel for a good few years as a lurker. This has finally brought me out of lurk status to inform you I have acquired the Snowflake box of dice, even though I have little to no interest in the sub genre they are used for. I just wanted to get something for myself that looked cool and provide you some assistance with some cash for all of the work you and the crew does. ♥
Bought! This is the best convergence of my hobbies and I'm here for it! Got the inductor set to help the E-waste and GN!
Bahahahaha the roll to roll variance testing, of course. I thought you were making a whole board game, but this is super cool too.
Just placed an order. Been meaning to purchase something to support you guys for a long time now, this was the purrfect excuse.
Wonderful, thank you for all that you each do for us! 💞💞💞
Bought them both. Happy to support the team!
From one artist to another, your mother is talented af! I can't quite tell the medium she used; it looks like it might be colored pencils or possibly a combo of gouache, but she did an amazing job capturing Snowball. We need to see more of her work!
I don't play tabletop games since the 90's, and still I was in awe by the looks of both sets. Beautiful pieces of work, kudos to the GN team and CEO Snowflake.
