I made a thumbnail typo. I'll fix it tomorrow I'm too lazy right now. Also I accidentally said vraska destroys non-creature permanents when she destroys non-land permanents. I have to remember what these cards do when I talk about them because I don't have them right in front of me. Thanks for watching.
Ugin's first ability isn't Lightning Bolt, it's better - it's Ghostfire. Bolt gets stopped by Protection from Red (not super common, but still, worth noting), while Ghostfire is specifically colorless, despite costing 2R (if I remember right, it is the first "devoid" spell ever, though that keyword wasn't around back in Future Sight).
Nice list! Agree with all of it. Only other one I may have given an honourable mention: Garruk Wildspeaker. He ramps, he creates tokens, and his ultimate is a win con in a lot of green strategies. His ultimate is also easy to get to at only 4 loyalty
The only impact I can see Venser having in a Planeswalker deck is minusing Planeswalker (A) immediately and then exiling to Venser. You can't use the Ability again because Planeswalker (A) comes in at your end step, right? Or am I missing something?
Hey man nice video! I was thinking of putting ugin in my Ur dragon deck and after seeing your video I believe it is time he joined both versions of sarkhan in my deck. :)
Great list! Only things I would say is that Venser is just a bit too narrow to be considered in my top 10, although he is real good I guess. I'd also put Bolas a little higher on my list, as I just have too mush fun stealing my opponents fatties. Keep up the awesome vids!
Hey how's it going this list was very well thought and expressed top 10 list but one card you should reconsider is Nissa Vastwood Seer I play her in multiple decks and it's always Mana ramp and card advantage with her +1 more often than not
I get not putting liliana of the veil, but jace??? He‘s ideal for any blue control deck, draw, removal, knowledge/control with the +2. I’d consider him over Venser honestly.
Liliana Vess always seems an all-star imo. Might be one of the best, she's slow but if you have protection for her you get 2 tutors. Great list though. Been watching some vids from you over the last couple weeks. Time to subscribe 👍
I personally place Tezzeret higher than Karn, in a format where artifact tap abilities, even just mana acceleration, are huge he's an absolute monster. I've never seen a game where Tezzeret hasn't warped it in some way, from simply tutoring Sol ring, top, scroll rack, to ramping someone into that godforsaken Ugin. He's just a gamechanger. Ugin though, absolutely. The guy warps the boardstate. Even as just an 8 mana exile wrath
Vraska's minus destroys non-land permanents, not non-creature. I think she should have been much higher. Her plus protects herself and her minus is repeatable removal. I agree her ult is low impact generally, but she can deal with a lot repeatedly and can eat creatures that attack her if she plusses.
PopeSquad yeah I accidentally said non-creature, but meant non-land. I think she's good, but to me for two more mana you can play the Apex Predator and get multiple relevant abilities. It just comes down to which can do more for me.
Well yes, but my point isn't that he is hard to flip, my point is, that there are 4 players in a casual Commander game and you can't flip jace most of the time in the same turn he is played. So your opponent/s can remove him pretty easy, especially in a casual 4+ Commander game
Jace is good in any format. Plains walkers don't have to win the game by themselves but what Jace can do is too good. He draws cards he can exile an entire deck, and can send those indestructible creatures back to their hand. Also Vereska is great as well. Can't leave them too out of top ten.
lol Karn Liberated is not that good in EDH, especially if you are behind and / or facing multiple opponents. His plus is a huge loyalty boost that could make him a good distraction if they can't take care of him via removal, but that is about it. Any real commander player worth their salt runs walkers that have great abilities AND ults they can immediately pop after entering via Doubling Season / Deepglow Skate to give you a huge advantage or even win the game. Karn Liberated is mainly just a distraction / win more card at best in Commander as he can't immediately get you out of some dire situations or put your opponents in them unless they are completely unprepared for numerous turns. Don't let that price tag fool you. Karn Liberated is a bit overrated because of it. Same goes for Scion of Urza.
ok so, i like elspeth, but she would be not that good aggaisnt token spam decks, she can fight them off with her puny 1/1 soldiers, but any 2/2+1/1 and even more are just amazing, i should know, ive beaten an elspeth player and made him stop playing her
There aren't bad planeswalkers on this list, that's about the only thing correct about this video. I get some planeswalkers are way better in legacy, but if we wanna be real, every spell in magic is better in legacy. The ones that are amazing in legacy are still amazing in commander and better than most on this list
Oliver Clozoff I just felt that daretti is more narrow to specific artifact builds unlike tezzeret who's pretty much gold in most artifact decks. To me garruk has more options.
A buddy used nicol bolas's ult on me which nearly killed me but put me into a position to win with my hydra deck. Did something silly like dealing over 300 damage with a fog played. Ulasht did work.
a tiny anthem effect when cards like Cathar's Crusade, Elesh Norn Grand Cenobite and Spear of Heliod are more versatile than Suns Champion's Ultimate, which is the worst of all the Elspeths
Wow you really are bad at picking planeswalkers. Sorin is amazing no matter what you do. His finisher to take another players turn is broken. Your advice is terrible
I made a thumbnail typo. I'll fix it tomorrow I'm too lazy right now. Also I accidentally said vraska destroys non-creature permanents when she destroys non-land permanents. Voidmage Gamer is Scion of the Ur-Dragon or the Ur-Dragon better as the commander upgraded and non upgraded. Also is Ramos better than them
The Ur Dragon is better than both of them when upgraded. Ramos is good for ramping as the 99.
I feel like you could just switch out Ramos and the ur dragon and it'd be so much better
Justin Sullivan the ur dragon gives you more to work with though. Inherently making dragons cheaper is better than ramping up mid game with Ramos.
Voidmage Gamer what about out of the box
I love classic sorin...only honorary?
Ugin's first ability isn't Lightning Bolt, it's better - it's Ghostfire. i wonder how nicol bolas would feel about seeing ugin beat him as best planeswalker
Angry
Not so happy wich is good cause hes a bad boy and i dont like bad boys
Dude... I've actually won games with Sorin's +2. Never underestimate what combos that +2 can trigger...
You can win with tibalt too. .... "I won with" is not really a good argument.
+2 into a sanguine bond/ exquisite blood has won me so many games
Nice list! Agree with all of it. Only other one I may have given an honourable mention: Garruk Wildspeaker. He ramps, he creates tokens, and his ultimate is a win con in a lot of green strategies. His ultimate is also easy to get to at only 4 loyalty
Matthew Beasley yeah I also put him in prossh for extra overrun in combat. Easily the best of the lorwyn five.
What’s the background picture
The only impact I can see Venser having in a Planeswalker deck is minusing Planeswalker (A) immediately and then exiling to Venser. You can't use the Ability again because Planeswalker (A) comes in at your end step, right? Or am I missing something?
People need to remember this list is also subjective depending on your play group.
Coming into this, I thought Sorin Markov would be #1 coming into this, very suprised.
Hey man nice video! I was thinking of putting ugin in my Ur dragon deck and after seeing your video I believe it is time he joined both versions of sarkhan in my deck. :)

jared wright thanks bro.
Wait, no Tibalt is #1 joke? :D

I just wanted to thank you for getting your shit together:) I subscribed today. Good job and keep it up:)
I try
Where is Garruk Wildspeaker? Ramp, tokens, and an overrun, he does everything a green deck wants.
I'd replace out Planeswalker to God Pharaoh. I find the new one is stronger. But what happened to Liliana of the Veil, and Koth of the Hammer?
Since I run a soldier deck with Odric, Lunch Marshal, Elspeth, Sun's Champion works really well in my deck
Hey how's it going this list was very well thought and expressed top 10 list but one card you should reconsider is Nissa Vastwood Seer I play her in multiple decks and it's always Mana ramp and card advantage with her +1 more often than not
Liliana dark realms is 1 in every black deck. Crazy ramp, crazy kills or pump
Oh dude nice, you're up to 1.5k subs, no Tibalt? XD. Sweet list anyways, I personally really like the new Tamiyo she's fun to use, so are both Kioras.
I know right. I love Bantiyo so much in Derevi.
I get not putting liliana of the veil, but jace??? He‘s ideal for any blue control deck, draw, removal, knowledge/control with the +2. I’d consider him over Venser honestly.
Xenagos is great in a planeswalker deck with Doubling season (and if you play commander super friends, it's expensive, but it's a staple)
No Meren? I can agree with most of the list though! Great vid!
Liliana Vess always seems an all-star imo. Might be one of the best, she's slow but if you have protection for her you get 2 tutors. Great list though. Been watching some vids from you over the last couple weeks. Time to subscribe 👍
R.A.W. thanks bro. I do like Vess but like you said she is a bit slow.
Shes nice in muldrotha decks if she dies u just cast her again
Varaska is one of my most common win cons with her alt.
Does ugin’s -X ability effect lands?
Jeane Greene no lands are colourless
Ok thank you
Well, real glad I got Ugin in my fat pack (only cards i bought) back during fate.
Kytheon is a beast in my Saskia Humans Tribal
Dylan Davis glad to see people play human tribal with Saskia.
Dylan Davis can I see your decklist it’s so hard to make a human tribal deck because there’s 1000s of them
Nicol Bolas-Dragon God can use any other planeswalkers abilities and it won’t cost him anything
Vraska's minus destroys non-land permanents, not non-creature. I think she should have been much higher. Her plus protects herself and her minus is repeatable removal. I agree her ult is low impact generally, but she can deal with a lot repeatedly and can eat creatures that attack her if she plusses.

Voidmage Gamer that's fair. I prefer the ability to hit artifacts and enchantments over the dudes and his ult.
Bolas is a male. # triggered
You are under evaluating flip Jace
maybe, but he talks about superfriends most of the time and you got 3 enemy turns before you can even activate him
Heldenfussel assuming there are 3 other players
nartin9 i agree flip jace is pretty easy to flip in a spellslinger deck. I play him in Kess and he is one of the best plays on turn 2.
Well yes, but my point isn't that he is hard to flip, my point is, that there are 4 players in a casual Commander game and you can't flip jace most of the time in the same turn he is played. So your opponent/s can remove him pretty easy, especially in a casual 4+ Commander game
I think OG Jace is worth mentioning as well.
I run Sun's Champion and Knight-Errant in my Kambal Commander
Jace is good in any format. Plains walkers don't have to win the game by themselves but what Jace can do is too good. He draws cards he can exile an entire deck, and can send those indestructible creatures back to their hand. Also Vereska is great as well. Can't leave them too out of top ten.
Vencer with my Brago…👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
am i the only one or did his ult look like the negative version ugin, the spirit drago
No problem with you list. I think Chandra, Torch of defiance should have made the list.
lol Karn Liberated is not that good in EDH, especially if you are behind and / or facing multiple opponents. Is that art from a card?
I'm not sure. I just looked up planeswalker art and found this on google images.
It's the art from the SDCC exclusive cards. There is also Nicol Bolas God Pharaoh art.
Jorge shit now I need those cards.
Dylan Davis they are 60+ dollars each at the lowest 😂😂
Dack is the best walker in the format.
ok so, i like elspeth, but she would be not that good aggaisnt token spam decks, she can fight them off with her puny 1/1 soldiers, but any 2/2+1/1 and even more are just amazing, i should know, ive beaten an elspeth player and made him stop playing her

No Daretti? Garruk could have easily been replaced by him.
Oliver Clozoff I just felt that daretti is more narrow to specific artifact builds unlike tezzeret who's pretty much gold in most artifact decks. To me garruk has more options.
Ugin + Eight and a Half Tails = Controlled Armageddon
Turn your opponent's lands white with 8&1/2, -0 Ugin, laugh as they have no more land.
XENAGOS, my man.
A buddy used nicol bolas's ult on me which nearly killed me but put me into a position to win with my hydra deck. Did something silly like dealing over 300 damage with a fog played. Ulasht did work.
Y'all know Tibalt is the best
you picked the wrong elspeth, suns champion is horrible in commander, knight errant's abilities are far more impactful
"Horrible in commander" what?
how about tirel n her ulti haha
a tiny anthem effect when cards like Cathar's Crusade, Elesh Norn Grand Cenobite and Spear of Heliod are more versatile than Suns Champion's Ultimate, which is the worst of all the Elspeths
Paul Anderson just no
You sound very bored in this vid
Ugin it's to overpowered for being colorless, and no fun to play against it
Wow you really are bad at picking planeswalkers. Sorin is amazing no matter what you do. His finisher to take another players turn is broken. Your advice is terrible
