Aegis of the Gods Imperial Mask Leyline of Sanctity Orbs of Warding Shalai, Voice of Plenty Sigarda, Heron's Grace Spirit of the Hearth Witchbane Orb And a couple others I can't remember but a couple of those are super common in pillow-fort decks
Im not a big fan of Vaevictis Asmadi, I mean yeah you can destroy some permanents, but there is a chance that your opponents just get sth better. Hes basically a worse Etali
The chance they get a permanent card that’s better than the one you destroy is pretty slim. You would also play with him in more of a control/Stax build or even jund beatdown.
cEDH: Isolate seems okay, but we already have a lot of 1-drop solutions to most permanents. Maybe not quite as strong as exiling, but much less narrow. Also Mental Misstep, which will always be good.
I don’t really play competitive edh that much so it’s hard for me to assess certain cards like these. I’ve thought about maybe replacing swords with this card, but definitely not misstep.
Voidmage Gamer it's all good. The problem is that there really aren't that many 1 drop permanents in cEDH. You may be able to smack a mana dork or Sol Ring or Top or something, but a lot of the 1 drops played tend to not be permanents. Misstep covers more ground and costs less thanks to phyrexian mana. For cEDH in general, you want low cost spells that are still versatile enough to be useful in as many situations as possible.
Be aware that Gitrog's draw trigger reads "whenever one or more...", so Scapeshift will only ever net you one draw off the frog. Still, it pairs famously with Titania, Ob Nixilis, and all sorts of other prominent members of Team Gitrog, so it's not like that makes it a bad fit for the deck by any means.
Building Nath Discard at the moment and was thinking about Fraying Omnipotence along with Smallpox, Pox and Deathcloud
We'll see how it'll do its job.
I got both Omniscience and Apex of Power. And a foil Phylactery Lich!
Scapeshift is really fun if you have a Concordant Crossroads, Rampaging Baloths and a Titania on the field with 10 lands on the field
I’m so glad I got arcades, crucible of worlds, and a promo tezz in the prerelease pack
Great video. It is spot on 👍 these new Elder Dragons are going to be awesome!!
Detection Tower also works on players, Arcane Lighthouse doesn't
RustyQuarters how many people play cards that give them hexproof though
Aegis of the Gods
Imperial Mask
Leyline of Sanctity
Orbs of Warding
Shalai, Voice of Plenty
Sigarda, Heron's Grace
Spirit of the Hearth
Witchbane Orb
And a couple others I can't remember but a couple of those are super common in pillow-fort decks
When you doing your review of 2 colour commanders and up?
I might do a redux series once a year since I believe I did them all last year. Thanks for reminding me.
Magistrate's sceptre isn't actually from M19. It was just reprinted there
Oh sweet! A masques reprint!
I know right? I was talking all about this card when atraxa was printed 2 years ago
I have never seen this card before and I don’t see anybody play it. Interesting choice for a reprint though.
Psychic corrosion hype! I think that card is stupid good
Definitely!

Where tf is Resplendent Angel?!
A video more than 3 minutes long!
Oh, man.
Scapeshift bad? You can trade any amount of basics for anything, urgborg, cabal coffers, nykthos, gaes cradles, the urza lands, that card is insane.
You forgot to mention walking corpse as the top 1 card
Scapeshift in gitrog monster
