- In this video I am very transparent and vulnerable as I walk you through my journey of discovering that I wanted to be a PA, how God confirmed it, and how I got accepted with a low GPA. Some people might be afraid to share some of this information but I am happy to if it encourages someone else.
If I can do it, then so can you!

Thanks for sharing. I needed this can relate to a lot of what you talked about. Feeling defeated, sad and just asking God is this what I'm supposed to be doing. I ended up applying to a MS program in Health Informatics about to graduate next month with a 3.83 GPA. I am a certified Medical Assistant did that for almost 2 yrs in Mental Health. I have done HHA over 6 yrs was a caregiver have volunteered in hospice for like 4 yrs and have been doing this dance for a long time. Just needed some encouragement.
I really love this! I first watched your video on how God blessed you with a house at 26 as I was looking for inspiration because I am too wanting a house. Something told me to subscribe to you because from that video I seen a lot of similarities within myself in you. Then, I seen this video because I am too looking to go into PA school. I then learned in this video that you have a Bachelors degree in Psychology which I do too! I don’t have any patient care experience so my goal is to do an accelerated BSN program and get a CNA certification in the mean time then get into PA school. It’ll give me time to prepare. You definitely just gave me some inspiration!❤ and best of luck on your journey!🎉
I love how the signs were there all along. Such an inspiration!
Thank you so much for watching!!!! It means so much to me.
Congratulations!!!!!!!! I’m a histology technician and when you said you got a letter from your histology professor i replayed it like 5x because literally no one talks about that subject or field. Lol im also wanting to be a PA and applying now so that was my sign. Thank you for your obedience
Oh cool! Full transparency, although I enjoyed prepping the slides, I absolutely hate having to identify samples. lol I'm not sure what it is, but it gives me the worse anxiety. I pray that all works out for you this application cycle! :) Thank you so much for watching.
Omg I am literally the same way. I was diagnosed with adult adhd and it affected me all throughout college. I am graduating with my Health Science degree in Dec and starting my journey to PA school. I love your videos btw !!
Congrats on your perseverance year after year!! That's so impressive!!
I needed to hear this. You will make a great PA.
I am glad to hear that!! Thank you!
Girlll this video was all over the place. lol but I loved the message, thank you for sharing. ❤
Yesssssss... That's the hardest. Other ppl not believing in or encouraging you!
This information is a blessing 🙌🏽
I'm happy to hear that! Thanks for watching. :)
Any recommendations for someone who can't afford a post bacc program? Thank you so so so much for sharing your story! You give me hope!!
I am a mom of one. I been looking into the PA field. My passion is to work in the cardiology area. The main for that is that my mom died of CHF . I had to take come classes over because my bachelors degree is in the quarter not the semester.
Sorry about your mom :(. But I am glad you are on the path to becoming a PA. Will you be applying this cycle?
which school is this and how do you apply step by step please
I have a low GPA right now.. I'm seriously stressed out about it to be honest. and I'm seriously considering a masters program in Biomedical Sciences and completing that before applying to PA schools. Do you recommend completing a masters degree to strengthen GPA? Thanks
Can you share about your personal statement. I've been through a long hard road and want to share that story with pride and not shame. And just share it in a great way.
Hey. I loved this video. Could you say more on different ways of learning? I think they call it neurodivergence? I find that Im more visual in my learning. Like if I have a whiteboard and marker I can excel in a lot of the sciences I just draw everything out and retain the information lol
Hey, thanks so much for watching!! Yeah, that is actually exactly the same way that I have to study. My expo markers and whiteboard are my very best friends! lol I talked about this briefly in a few of my videos (linked below) but I am planning to do a more detailed video very soon.

How did you pay for the post bacc?! I can't afford more loans😢
Loans. For me, I felt like I had to do whatever it takes. By Gods grace that money will be made back.
