You are a really talented person and your tutorials are a joy to watch and listen to when you speak. I use your techniques to dip beads as well as nails. I have a tip that you might find useful. I have tried this and it works very well. Buy a bottle of 'Masking Fluid' from an Artist's supply store and with a cheap paintbrush you can coat your finger all around the nail area very accurately, also masking the back of the nail. When the lacquer is almost dry you can just remove the masking fluid by rubbing it away with your finger. It is a little quicker and more accurate than using tape I find. Hope this helps. Thanks
I live in Lexington Kentucky and love your nail art tutorials. Could you possible do one with UK colors (deep blue and bright white) and a Paw Print design in the middle.? I watch all the time so I'm sure I will see it if you post it. Sincerely, Christina Angel.
great design! I find that my polish dries while sitting in the cup - no matter which polish I use. Is there a way to avoid that? Thanks for the tip to anchor it. Will try that tip next attempt.
All of your designs are so perfect! My biggest problem with water marbling is the tiny little water spots on the nails after I pull them out of the water. It drives me crazy. I always want to just pop them but it usually messes up the design. Also, when I put my top coat on there are times when the polish messes up the colors on the design. It kind of smears the colors for some reason.
Rebecca Maness try to be patient & wait for them to dry - then press them flat before you top coat and try not to actually touch the nail with the brush when you apply top coat
How long does the polish usually take to dry once the design is on your nails? Does it take as long as when you brush the polish on? Thanks in advance :]
happened to me too...when you drop the polish into the water..hold the brush closer to the water..gravity takes over when you hold it up too high..hope this helps
I keep my nails moisturized, lots of lotion & cuticle oil & I also take a biotin supplement - check out my Nail Maintenance vid in the Tips & Trick playlist for my full routine. I do occasionally get a tear or break but you can check out my tutorials on silk wrap patching for how I save those nails =) I do "Naked Nails" posts on my blog periodically where I talk more about the specific products I'm currently using.
hello do the design really beautiful, I tried it but when I put a drop of nail polish does not expand as you, and only water that's in the glass? ciao fai dei disegno davvero belli, ho provato io ma quando metto la goccia di smalto non si allarga come a te, e solo acqua quello che c'è nel bicchiere ?
every time i try water marbling, the drop goes down to the bottom of the cup and it just ends up a big mess! i let my water get room temp and i've tried different brands so idk what could be the prob :(
OMG this is so cute I wanted to know if you can do the same but in pink white and the blue that you used. Also I wanted to know that I love your desings and they come out so beutiful. I cant wait to try this video out I love it so much. Also pnepre thing can you start showing your face on your videos. If you are reading this can you make a water marble with pink white and the blue you used to make this video. Can you give me some tips on jow to make a water marble like this. Also can you be specific. This was a pleasure speaking to you.
I do make note of requests I receive, but generally I have enough of my own ideas I want to do - and often I get requests for combinations that I've already done
Hey.. a small little request... in india we don't readily get orly or many of your other brands... i have a hard time matching brands together so if you could pls do a little survey on the polishes we get here and mention those in your info box.. that will be of great help... but otherwise love your work... big fan ;)
Bhaviks aunty, I have tried many of her designs and they have worked just fine... my only issue was that i lose a lot of polish in trial and error... so I just wanted to tell Colette mam that if she could just do a little survey about available nail paints in India then it would be easier for me... and Bhavika aunty the most ideal brand is Maybelline Colouroma... try them
well to tell you i am 16... miss Anita Variava and i just fail in water marbling... my ombre nails gets a lot of praises and i do use She's LOVE Girl brand.. and ofcourse i would take your suggestion as well..Maybelline Colouroma...thanks...
I absolutely love your nail art tutorials. you don't rush through them giving us all a chance to actually follow each step correctly. thank you!!

you can use any brand of polish - it just takes trial & error to find colors that work well. The brands that you have they probably do not sell here

i tried this so many times but it did not work! how do i get it to work ?
+Patrick Wijesuriya are you using room temperature filtered water? Also keep in mind not all polish works
how do you make the Polish drops get wider? is it how you drip them?
they should spread out on their own once they hit the water
I want to try this, is it cold or hot water?
Mischka Mc Carthy I always use room temperature filtered water
My Simple Little Pleasures ok thanks
Reminiscent of sparkling snow.
Do you know a (R) is missing in the word pleasures? At least it is on my phone.
