Since some ppl still have trouble after this cool tutorial, here are some tips to help
1: before you start make sure you have an even layer of white polish already on your nail
2: if the bottled water doesn’t work you can use slightly warmed tap water
3: before watermarbling, you should ALWAYS test your polish to see if it will spread
4: work quickly so that the polish won’t dry
5: even if it can spread, it doesn’t mean it will work with other polish, so make sure both polish’s can spread together

heres a tip, DO NOT USE A STYROFOAM cup, IF the polish settles to the bottom it will eat a hole through it!!! SPEAKING FROM EXPERIENCE!!! YOUR WELCOME

You know what is really annoying? ! People that make mean comments about others they dont even know because they obviously have no life! Thanks for the tips. I've tried doing this before, but didn't try using bottled room temp water.
Thanks! Yes people are so darn rude theses days! I've seen some of the comments. These people that leave rude comments are just bored with their life, and must not have a life of their own and find joy and excitement by trying to down someone else....oh geez there I go lol. I could go on and on, but I think we see eye to eye on this subject :)
Thanks for making this video. I didn't think I could do marbling cause all the videos I've seen were super fancy and really fast, and I felt kinda intimidated. It's great to see someone go through the process slowly, and prove that even if things don't go entirely perfectly you can still get really nice results. I am full of confidence now. :D

I use room temp water, I find that it works the best.
I REMEMBER TRYING THIS AS A KID-
i also learned you dont have to use tape, jsut get vasoleen or chapstick and spred that around your finger your using and dip it in. let it dry for mabye 5-10 min (depending on polish your using) and take your nails or a a tweesers and peal the nail on your skin, BUT MAKE SURE YOU DONT HAVE THE VASOLEEN OR CHAPSTICK ON YOUR FINGER, or it will peal off,

yup. i use cheap lip gloss. one with the stick so i can get as close to the nail as possible. works like a charm.
i've seen also see people use liquid glue. and then they peel it off.

Easier way , put dots of nail polish on your nail then press a ziplock bag on top . Boom.

Liquid latex. Or if you got elmers glue, not sure if it works like people say, but worth a shot!

I have a recommendation. Instead of using scotch tape use masking tape it works much better and you can peel it off without a scissors
Not everyone can do that. The last time I had that tape on my skin i had a reaction so it's better to use scotch tape just to be safe.

+ICE SKATER with a violin Well it makes more sense to do it. You can use scotch if you'd like. Gosh

What should I do if it doesn't spread
Use a different nail polish
you could tap the bowl or whatever your using a couple times and it should spread if not it could've dried out.

my polish doesn't spread in the water..i need help please :(
Use filtered water or bottled water and it has to be room temperature in order to spread

When your doing water marble nails and you put the nail polish in the bowl or cup that your using ... You want to shake the bowl or cup to make it spread!!😉

I tried it but the nail polish drop doesn't spread it just stays there as a small drop of nail polish
Mitali Bhatia Some polishes won't work. Trial and error is what I tell everyone. It could honestly be a few different things....maybe your polish is too thick, glitter polish tends to not spread (for me at least). I have tried many different brands of polishes...this is the brand that works best for me.
Mitali Bhatia same but the first one spreads but then when i put a drop of the same brand of nail polish on top of the first it never spreads it sits there and i do it quickly

it's waste of time I tried it several times but nail polish is not at all spreading on water
Hi.. I also thought so.. But learnt what not to do.. Here are my tips 1. All the polishes shld be on a same brand 2. Water shld be clean and in room temp 3. Thick polishes won't mix up 4. Shld use a thin pin or a tool to draw

Im not a professional (I will be in a years time) but It does work! It takes some time to get used to it. It didn't work well for me the first few times either, but I tried and tried again, and its super easy for me now.
I'm gonna use an old chapstick that accidentally got put in the washer lol

a tip is to not drag all of the way from the edge go from the 2nd or 3rd layer from the out side

Don't give up! When I first started doing water marble nails, it was a impossible! But I learned that not all polishes work, I also found out that bottled water works the best when water marbling....and also at room temp!

I get that sometimes, try shaking the glass a little bit, it helps spead the polish, if thats not working, try a diff polish or move quickly when dropping the polishes. When I have this problem, most of the time if I hurry and drop another color in it, it helps spead it.

Thank you 😊 I tried regular water and it worked, just not as well as bottled. Try it! Only one way to find out! I have hard water so it don't work well for me.
yea dont wait to long to make your design. theres been times where I hurried to make my design then taped my finger, then dipped my finger, it was starting to dry, but i was able to transfer my design to my nail without a problem....but its best to make your design and dip right away :)

I did too at first, but once I learned what kinda polishes work best, and what kinda water, its a piece of cake to me now. Its trial and error. What I learned, is to use bottled water @ room temp, clean glass and nail polish that is more liquidy. I found that the thicker polishes that I have tend not to spead and make that bullseye we want. Pure ice and wet n wild polish brands are what I found works best for me when it comes to water marble.
