For those of you (like me) who didn't pay attention to which turn signal was which during the disassembly, the right turn signal is the white connector and the left turn signal is the black.
Really great paced videos that go through all the small, but important stuff thank you!!! Any chance of a how to for integrated tail light or tail light removal in the future? Thanks!
Peter Roberge We are just waiting for one of the manufacturers to release one. Once they do we will install it and shoot a video. Thanks for watching! - Van
Sportbike Track Gear www.customled.com/products/2015-yamaha-yzf-r1-integrated-led-tail-light I think its the only one out, but they're a great company!
Is there a way to install the license plate light (graves part #: FE-U-LPL) without cutting or damaging any OEM components? The connector of the OEM light (yamaha part #: 2CR-84745-00-00) isn't available separately, and the light unit costs $130, counting tax and shipping. The connector looks like a typical white plastic electrical clip, but I don't know it is common to any other part and I don't think it can be bought separately.
I would recommend cutting the connector off the OEM license plate light and attaching it to the Graves light. This will get you a plug and play end result. - Van
Justin Reynolds That is the ABS Brake Pressure Modulator Valve and the brake lines. This will all be eliminated shortly as I would prefer not to have the ABS for the race track. - Van
Hugh Jass Most of them do not. Personally I do not feel that is a loss at all. If you really needed to keep that in place we could come up with a universal deal to fit up. - Van
STG I only say that cuz I thought it was law and the fe I installed had light. I couldn't care less, think it's fine without. Got all my gear from you guys keep up good work! Great vid too!
Hugh Jass Thank you very much for your business! End of the day I would bet there should be a light on the plate to be in full compliance. That said you would most likely really have to piss an officer off to get a ticket for that. - Van
Are you kidding... they look for this stuff. Not having the light is just plain stupid especially since the blinkers can be mounted. You won't get a ticket for no blinkers because hand signals are legal... this set up is backasswards.
LNS Mechanic It is totally the tail light. When I was installing the exhaust servo eliminator yesterday I was laughing my ass off because I remembered saying it was something else! I was wondering how long it would take for someone to call me out on this one. Email me at service@sportbiketrackgear.com with your t-shirt size and we will send you an STG shirt for being the one to bust me. - Van
Sportbike Track Gear All good Van. snakerb This will be a personal bike that I will first build for the street / track days and once that is done it will be prepped for track only. I hope to keep it for 2-3 seasons and sell it off once I am done. - Van

Yes! Been waiting for the start of these videos. Can't wait to see how it ends up.
Beautiful machine in the hands of a good rider! Can't wait to see how it'll end up 👍
Nice pick up as usual!
Thanks man these videos have helped a lot. I picked up my 2015 Raven and plan to mod it much like yours so far!
What about the plate light! Look Awesome
needs grooved slots for plates. I suspect not all states stick to an exact hole location.
Man thanks for these vids!
super travail STG, merci...
You do great work and all your videos are very clear and to the point! How long have you owned your own shop?
Could you do a video on how to sync the throttle bodies?
Sorry this bike was sold a couple of seasons ago. - Van
Sportbike Track Gear doesn’t have to be on any particular bike just curious about the process
Thanks mate awesome vid helped me heaps

I ended up using posi-tap connectors, no cutting, stripping necessary.
Awesome!!
Awesome! I have a question, whats those 4 tubes in-front of the battery for? Brakes or fuel?
MikeIllusion92 They look to be for brakes for the traction control/abs
Justin Reynolds That is the ABS Brake Pressure Modulator Valve and the brake lines. This will all be eliminated shortly as I would prefer not to have the ABS for the race track. - Van
I believe if you get the kit ecu you can tune, disable abs. Definitely disable
2015 R1!!!
Why no license plate light I'm wondering. Most come with that no?

Sportbike Track Gear I think I prefer the fact that it's your bike to keep (for the most part) this time. Looking forward to the build
Uuum, R1 is so sexy.
