Some cracking stuff in this video Les, particularly the 37s!
They were worth going out for. Thanks
Nice shot of the 156 leaving the twin bay Les....
Thanks!
What a way to end...nice one Leslie.
I thought it would be fun to include! Thanks Tim
Aye, and a pretty weather-beaten yellow into the bargain. There was a TPE mis-captioned at the end, just in case you can rectify it.
Ive put a correction in the video details -as usual! I must have over written the correct caption. Can't re-edit or recaption the video once posted on YT (you used to be able to)
Hi Les, always enjoy your videos from Carlisle and hellifield in particular as I like to see what prototypical trains are running so to get a basis for what to run on my layout. Cheers Gary
Many thanks!
A ray of much needed light on a drab week.
Lol Thanks Andy

Another great video Les. On another subject I have a friend visiting Carlisle on March 15th and wanted to know if Friday's are a good day for freight traffic. I was hoping to come with him but due to my illness it is not possible at the moment. Would you be about on that date. John
Thanks John. I don't normally go to the station on a Friday . It varies as to what is a good day. Best he check out Real Time Trains but mornings are ok until after the logs then there might be 2 hurs before the next
Thank you Les. I will pass the info on to my friend. He can decide what he wants to do John
Excellent as always
Thanks!
Measurement Train looks so much better with matching power cars.
I saw a logs train passing through Newport, South Wales on a video a few days ago, with just 1 56 hauling it. Unlike your videos, this one didn't provide any details, so I don't know where it was going, or from where it had come.
Thanks. That would be the Briton Ferry to Chirk logs.
Another lovely video Leslie well done great camera work as usual I am really looking forward to seeing your next video I hope you get a nice video next time also when is your next video going to be on TH-cam bye for now Philip
Thanks
What are all those Class 37s needed at Dumbarton for?
Route proving, in anticipation of bad weather. One goes to Perth, one to Inverness and the other one to Fort William I think.
Fantastic mix, Les. I loved seeing the banana and he ROyal Mail... two of my odd favorites, and a host of other cool trains. BTW Did Scotrail take over some TPE stock (toward the end a TPE looking unit was labeled ScotRail, so I wondered if they have bought off some TPE rolling stock).
Glad you enjoyed it. Oh dear did a senior moment occur with the captions?
No - I did a Scotrail train passing then a TPE passed
That was the train at30:32that was the Scotrail one, the Class 156s
I thought Network Rail locos all got renumbered to 9x regardless of loco class?
Are the 43s Network Rails or Colas - honestly don't know. Thanks for watching
Where is sitadel station
