- So I see some of you have been commenting on my last few devlogs saying I should add a candy biome into my indie game gelli...SO I DID IT! If you don't know, I am making my game gelli in Unity and have been using unity for almost 3 years now! Crazy! I could consider myself an epic gamedev now...maybe

Fairlii, i have an idea for some new fetures! Can you add an abillity to play with the gellie? It should give more freindship points. And second is a happines meater that tracks how happy the gellie is, if its full, then it gives freindship points and if its near empty or just empty the gellie will lose freindship points!

A honey biome, with bee slimes! Maybe they could fly, and the food you get could be honeycomb or nectar.

Biome ideas: spooky biome, filled with mist and a bunch of ghoulish residents,
a island biome with tropical stuff surrounded by water,
An underwater biome BENEATH the island biome,
The scorched biome, where there’s a big volcano,
And a lush jungle, with rivers, foliage and dangerous small creatures
Ooo I looove spooky biomes! Don't forget to add tomb stones, jack-o-lanterns and spiderwebs!
Consider: a poison swamp biome. It must be a good idea if Elden Ring had so many.

I think a Magic Type Biome would be cool. A Jelli with a little Wizard hat would be so cute!
I’d recommend an infernal biome, a volcanic and superheated magma wasteland home to the magma gelli. The food could be a very spicy pepper to match with the heat the biome will give off.
Make a desert biome with fossils in the background instead of trees along with a fossil jelly! It would be a cool thing to add.
Make a building system please!
My idea:When trees/bushes disappear they drop wood. You can craft things like stairs and blocks you also can craft a house that will appear in background (It will appear where ever you place it). At night your slime will go into the house (If you have one). He will get warmed inside.
I also want you to add rivers.

It would look like a jelly with an enormous backpack and it would sell fruits from other biomes, as well as hats for your jelly. The jelly merchant would appear after a week in-game I think

In the floating presents, you should add the small chance of getting a purple jelly out of it, who can also increase friendship points sometimes, and maybe have a special friendship action. I just think that would be pretty cool!

6:38 in poland here we have a candy bar named "prince polo" and it has the consistancy of that crucnhy waffles you get at the waffle stands and doesnt have chocolate inside but it has an outside layer of tasty delicious chocolate, its good
I have an idea/concept for the game. Since you can get unlucky and start with bad stats, I think having an item where it gives you better stats would be good for unlucky runs. The item won't appear if you have good or average stats, but if one of your stats is below average, it could give a slight boost to reward players for sticking with bad runs.
I think you should have a system where you can buy/adopt other jellies or pasteles and sense the friendship thing. You can click on the jelli or pastele and it will show its food and friendship. Sense you can sell food that’s how you buy jelli or pastele. It would be super cool! Also maybe a savanna type of biome of somethin. Also please include same fruits in different biomes. If not you pretty much have to be stuck with a specific one so if you wanted the candy stuff but your in the candy biome you can’t. Plus literally candy biome candy in candy biome! Also good work! You can do this!

I think a pond world with lily pads, cattails, and a duck gelli would be really cool! (Dug up loot could be fish)
The Jellies should totally have their own unique attributes; Bon Bon increased speed, default has increased jump. Just stuff like that and maybe negative stuff too, if that fits your vision!
It would be cool if for every biome it had a few different variations (like mountains or rivers) so that the gellis have more to move (or even swim) around in. A biome suggestion I have is a space biome (maybe a moon or something) and there are asteroids that the gelli can be hit by and you have to break the asteroids and they have a chance to drop loot. The gelli could be called a Luminant which is bright and glows in the dark.
I would love either an underwater biome, or a wasteland one. A wasteland could be an unlucky biome to spawn in, but you could still live in. Not only does this game need dream lands, but it needs bad biomes to. There could even be a soda can gelli!
There could be trash can trees, and moldy pizza plants that grow tiny, un-moldy pizzas. The gelli could dig up trash related items, like glass bottles

I think that to increase your jelly's stats you should make specific consumables that boost a certain stat after eating a couple of the same ones. You should also add achievements for the game, some of which can give the slime special "evolution paths" which can increase the slimes effectiveness.
For example: eating 3 apples gives the slime a 1 speed stat boost, or eating 3 chocolate chips should decrease it's speed but give an achievent called "Sugar Rush" and give the Suger Rush evolution path to the slime. Btw heres a The Sugar Rush evolution path concept:(which you don't have to add I just think its cool :D) So basically I think that the path should just boosts the slime's capacity to hold items such as apples. For example: When u first get sugar rush u should be able to carry 2 items, but when you upgrade it by eating mor chocolate chips, you should be able to hold 3,4, ect. The max should be 6 because I don't want it to be to op. For my biome idea, you add a jelly biome (dirt=slime) where you can find jelly villages.(the houses are basically just caves made of jelly) I think that that would be a great addition to the game
Sugar rush (in my opinion) would give the gelli a random speed boost every now and again but will cause them to slow down a lot until the next time change. For the gelli holding more items idea they should eat specific vegetables which will increase the gelli's strength, however if you stop feeding the food or give the gelli the wrong food for their evolution path, they will loose their skills and move to the other path.
Make a cemetary biome with a ghost gelli please! There would be a food called the Darknut, and you could dig up a rare item called a “Mysterious Orb” that could increase stats!

Add evil gelli that spawn during the night and steal food, in order to get rid of them you have to click the evil gelli so the good gelli attacks the evil gelli

Anyways, I had a random idea for a potential next biome, the Frozen Forest!
- the main theme here is snow and iced plants, and other things related to that.
- *Tree Structure:* Ice as the "stem" (or it could just be iced logs) and snow as the "leaves"
- *Ground Composition:* Ice with snow on top of it/Dirt with snow on top, many combinations work here.
- *Unique Plant Type:* Now there are a lot of ideas to be spread here, but some are kind of weird. Here are some I thought of:
~ Frozen Berries/Frozen Apples, or potentially some sort of Crystal berry/fruit
~ Snowflakes?
~ Popsicles/Icecream
~ Brand new Gelli Tart flavor, the Frozen Heart of the Polar Bear! Now comes in 6 different sizes and a new Popsicle shape! Order now at your local Kentucky Fried Gellis!
- *Prop/Decor:*
~ souls of those who dare bypass this land of danger and fret
~ uh... i c e s t o n e
~ Frozen Plants/Grass
- *Brand New Marketable Gellis:*
~ the grim reaper of the souls of those who dare bypass this land of danger and fret
~ ice/snow Gellis (I literally just said ice and snow for every category in this biome I am very creative)
~ Creami! an ice cream gelli who has developed abilities to live in extremely cold climates by using the cold to strengthen its ice cream coat.

Have you thought of adding buffs and downsides to each biome? and maybe add a few versions of them
You should make a lemon biome, it sounds simple on paper but you can get really creative with it.
Before giving ideas for the biome, *I want the Gelli to be able to jump.* There could be a desert biome, with cactuses replacing the trees. Also, a snow biome would be cool. Again, jumping would allow the Gelli to explore their world a little more. Oh, I also want a volcano biome, with tiny lakes of lava!

You should add slimes with different abilities. Like: GREEN does nothing, BLUE double jumps, RED has more hearts, PINK has more food bars and GOLD has luck with 2 random abilities.
The oasis biome, palm trees with coconuts that grow on the palm trees. Rain doesn’t spawn in the area, the sky can be whatever you want it to be, and the gelli would be a sandelli with brown horns the size of a normal gelli’s and sand color skin. And there would also be water that the gelli can go swimming in, as an activity in case the gelli gets bored. Water ponds can also be added in other biomes aswell if you like the idea! Hope you add this it would be amazing!

Food: crayons treats and pencil sticks
where they will grow: in the sky

#2: beach biome
Food: coconuts pineapples and leafs
Where they will grow: on the trees
The jelly: beach jelly with a beach hat!

How about having a graveyard world where your a ghost like slime, and have like ghost trees that’s white and your slime can dig up something like flesh or part of a slime(or something) it can eat something like webs from the trees or ghost “amber?” (If that’s the word)
Edit: if you want to add something to get damaged from, you can add zombies or flying ghosts that come down to attack sort of like the vex from Minecraft, you can also add some sort of statue in the middle or on the side of a slime who died there.
Just an idea, but instead of calling sugarstones sugarstones, how about rock candy instead?

you could add caves with items and also decoration for below the ground (the dirt)

it wouldn't go through your standard day/night cycle, probably staying at the same dark sky the whole time but you could add a unique weather event! A star shower! Where it rains shooting stars in the background and maybe by chance the stars could drop star shaped candy! it could be a void/space biome
the gelli could be black/dark purple with little white pixels to imitate stars? or maybe the gelli is a black outline with a transparent purple inside?
the decorations could be broken down spaceships, maybe a mountain in the background could be an old space station! And the gelli's could dig up stuff like star bits to eat!
I just think a void/space themed biome would be super cool for a game like this! but either way I'm excited to see where this goes!! it's super cute so far!! I can't wait for when it becomes playable to the public!

I think A Mountainous Biome would be cool , Which would be a little hard to climb . With boulders Coming down sometimes , Which you have to dodge . At the top it will be snowy and snow would fall . Mountain Orks would be there , as enemies .( Ork Slime ) .
Idea: Maybe add a way to have MULTAPLE slimes to DOUBLE or TRIPLE the cuteness?
What if there was a cave biome? It would be cool to have Ore fruits ore something like that! You could also add crystals and other cool decorations to the cave!
There could be a gelli made of Copper, Iron, Amethyst, or even a mythical ore!
You should try starting a easy system, where you can add it a script, and just set some values for the rarity, or how much humger somethifn restores. Something of a system that a kit would follow. Make it easier in the long run

You need to care of 2 slimes things...
Blood bath biome, the water is blood, there's blood rain and Blood jelly enemy.
Also, I think you should add a snowy/icey biome!
A dark and light biome would be pretty cool!
u can add traits as example luck for better loot when digging or something like that
maybe also some kind of new material with wich u can craft or build stuff, so just like in terraria that u can make axes for getting wood or swords for fighting enemies
A secret city biome with an 0.5% chance would be cool!
I have a cool idea, every jelly can have a different ability like the pink jelly can have a 50% chance to get extra rock candy or stuff like that
You should add little buildings that will give the gelli’s somewhere to sleep or stay. Example: a tent or a tree house. But not something so big so that it fits with the game
Could you make a cloud world? Saw a comment on a different Gelli video that asked for a cloud world with gold leaves, and it seemed like a cool idea
I hope to see a Winter, Lava, and FLESH biomes in future videos. Also a Cat Jelly. It could be called a catty.

You choud make a cave area where the gelli can dig crustals that can be used for fire (like one of those lenses tht make fire and show things closer) to cook apples and stuff :)
You should make a crafting system so you can do stuff like make a pillow for your Gelli
I would like to have a bit more realistic digging, which is after our gelli digs, a hole sprite appears in the block, and gelli won't be able to dig right on hole block or next to it for a long time. I mean he can dig next to the hole blocks, but loots will be worse, maybe even a chance he won't get any loot from digging next to digged block.
Add a special haze-day that makes crops grow faster, I think it could be a fun play on seasons.

I think it would be cool to have a hand icon when hovering over an interactable object, and make a close hand when dragging it.
You should be able to find wild gelli and tame them so you can have multiple gelli
