I've been searching for a HOT WHILE on what I will learn in naturopathic school and your 1st and 2nd yr vids are making me so excited!!! i was debating only practicing herbalism but now I want to learn every natural remedy the professional way and then specialize in herbal medicine when I build up my practice and it becomes stable.

Hi, your videos are so interesting! I'm thinking about applying to Bastyr. When you say you typically have 6 clinic shifts in your third year, does that mean you are only in the clinic 6 times for the entire year? Just curious, I bet it would be a good learning experience regardless. Thanks!
Hey! Being on a shift means attending the shift weekly for the entire 10 week quarter! All of the shifts are 4 hours long. Your load slowly increases during the program. As a 4th year student, I have 4 shifts at a time every quarter. Hope that helps!

How do you manage to stay energized during the 3-4 hour blocks classes?
Lots of coffee and snacks!! haha 😂 In person, being with friends helped. At home, I try to go outside during my breaks. :)
