Hey Sienna! I graduate with my undergraduate political science and international relations degree next year, and although I love it, I am excited for the chapter of life in my mid twenties (once I have travelled a bit after graduating uni) where I commence my studies in naturopathy. It has been such a passion of mine for many years and I just thought I’d let you know that I love your content and I can see that you really care about your field. Amazing vids! Keep it up! x
Thank you for the kind comment! That is so exciting that you want to study naturopathy! I started in a completely different field myself (majored in Marketing), and found my passion a bit later. Definitely worth the switch!!
Thank you for the great question! I will add this to my list of video ideas :) My schedule has completely changed due to COVID, but I can talk about generally how I manage everything!
I'm so glad I found your channel! I am currently finishing up my undergrad degree in biology and I am hoping to go to bastyr in a couple years. There is not a lot of information out there about becoming a naturopath but I know it is what I want to do. Do you have any tips on affording grad school? I am already in a lot of student debt and I am afraid of the cost of going to Bastyr. If this is too personal I understand!
Hi Sierra, that is a very valid concern. ND programs are definitely not cheap. You have to be 100% sure it is what you want to do and have a solid career plan for when you're done with school. Certain schools are more affordable than others. I think Bastyr is on the higher end. I would expect having $200-$250K in loans after a 4 year program. Options to reduce this are to work for a while and save up or do the 5-year track for the ND program and work while you are in school. I actually wrote a blog post comparing different school. You can head over to www.siennamillerwellness.com to check it out :) Hope this helped!
@@dr.siennamiller Although it is not impossible to work throughout your student experience. I don't suggest it even on the 5 yr track. Maybe you can do it for the first 1 to 2 yrs but then after that, you have to study for OSCE's which require a ton of prep.
Great video--thanks so much. How many nutrition courses do you take in ND school? And can you specialize in something like Nutrition/Functional Medicine?
Sienna Miller I’ve been thinking about going to that college. Do you already have a video on what you think about the college. If not I have some questions I would like to ask about it. I’ve read some bad things about the college that has given me second thought about going to that college for medical herbalism. Maybe you can give me some clarity on?
Thanks for watching! :)

I love your videos! thank you for this insight on Bastyr! Is there a different grad school that you wanted to go to?
I can tell you're going to be a great doctor!
what is your weekly schedule like as an ND student? Do you think I will have time to be able to work?
I’m curious about this as well!

Awesome! Thanks for sharing! I would like to know if Bastyr University has dorm for married students?
Unfortunately all of the dorms accommodate one student. The only option would be if you are both students, and then you could each get a room!
