I batch cook lasagne and cook it fully. When it comes to heating it up, I remove and place the portion into an air tight container over night in the fridge and pop into the microwave when needed

It's surprising what meals you can make when you have so much stored in the freezer, pantry, and cupboards. I think sometimes we all intend to overbuy things. Ori really enjoys getting involved he is growing so fast. love to you all xxx

Hi Come to the decision to always defrost ready made things like lasagna mousakka veg bakes before re cooking. I had the same experience as u one time - gave myself brownie points for having a homemade lasagna but would the thing heat up it took 1½ hours we were starving. Had to laugh at ur ending😆🤣😂

Great video, I've really been looking forward to this after your pantry stock take videos.
What would be interesting is seeing your essential food hauls and how much your managing to save by this process.

I find this interesting but have come to the conclusion having a small kitchen means I don’t have enough room to store too many tins or packets. I have two small freezers and a small fridge so again can’t store loads. I do keep a list going of what’s in the freezer. Enjoyed the recipes.

Small is sometimes much better as you, like you said, tend to store less, which means you’re probably more efficient with food shopping/using up foods.
      Thank you!

I freeze lasagne before its cooked fully, just assembled, then defrost it and fully cook and it never dries out
