      For the pasta bake you can use a cup of full fat milk instead. Or a cup of milk with an egg whisked in.

    My favourite TH-camr! Please keep doing what you’re doing and never change. You’re a fair bit younger than me, but it doesn’t feel like it and you remind me of me when I was your age, so I find your videos so comforting. I also just love Lawrence and sweet Orin. Feels like I’m dropping in at some lovely friends for a bit. Thank you sweet girl xxxx

    If you want great tofu then it's Sainsbury's organic for £1.70 and they do a smoked version too. Lidl have just started doing their own organic tofu too - it's a massive block for £1.99 (it's permanent and with the vegan burgers/sausage rolls etc in the chiller)

    Hi Sophie. How much rice do you put in the jug, how much water and how long do you cook? I’m so bad at making rice and end up using microwave packets, which is a waste of money in the end x

    Do you have an Asian supermarket nearby? Its the best place for affordable tofu. Its much cheaper than supermarkets and also much better tasting.

      @@Sopherina they also sell tofu puffs in both the fridge and freezer section which are deep fried tofu squares - they're delicious! But you get usual tofu in the fridge department. Last time I got 3 blocks in a packet for the same price I'd pay in Tesco.

    Nice recipes, I use cornflour to make cheese sauce I find it easier than making a roux

    • @Sopherina
      @Sopherina  ปีที่แล้ว

      So when using cornflour, do you skip the butter stage? Sorry, I am confused on how to do that but I often like using cornflour so would love to know how it's done! Thank you xx

    • @Sopherina
      @Sopherina  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I had these sachets of coconut "Cocos" organic yogurt which had been in the fridge and needed using, they were great to use. But they were a little thicker in consistence to what comes out of the coconut tin from Aldi, so I think the mousse would be even lighter when using from the tin! Xx

    Sophieeeeeeeeee!!!!!!! Wonderful as always! I have been tagging along on your videos for ages, I watched back when you and Lawrence were dating!!
    To married and then on with baby on board to present!! Fabulous journey!! (Love Lawrence's cameo in this video lol!!)
    Excellent presentation and narrative as always. Very clear, easy to understand and it's just like having a friend on my computer screen whilst I work.
    (I recommend your channel ALL The time)
    I wondered what size is your gorgeous green frying pan with lid? (Did you ever get another one! LOL)
    I am 52, American living in the UK. And although I have been here for 20 years just, I still get my sizes wrong (either way too small or large)
    Your frying pan looks SPOT on perfect! 😍( I realise that was from Aldi - but if I can get the width?... I know it must sound daft!!) and also the blue stock pot!!
    Your videos make a huge difference and are wonderfully helpful. HUGE Thanks (and to Lawrence!) you are both greatly appreciated!! 🤗☕🧁🌷

      Ahh that is amazing!! I sometimes forget how long I have been vlogging, so many changes have happened in just a few short years!
      Thank you so much for sticking around ♥️♥️
      So the green pan is around 12inchs wide, I honestly couldn't live without it! And the blue pan is around 9 inches, but a bit deeper.
      Homesense/TKMaxx often have similar pans in for a great price, I recommend checking them out! ♥️Xxxxx

    Sopherina, the meals are fabulous once again !! Can I please say in the nicest possible way, stop scraping yr wooden spoon on the pots, its causing it to splinter and yr cooking Orin's chicken and rice . You probably don't want it in your meal either :) Keep the content coming. I've not long moved from a big city with Asian grocery stores selling locally made fresh tofu to a small city/large town that thinks tofu is very exotic and you can only get the packet stuff some times. The struggle is real :D
