I think he did a pretty good job Cosmo .when it comes to these small trailers they can be easily modified and personalized to each individual s needs weather you get one bare bones and build it out yourself or you get a finished high-end one like yours they are always a work in progress.

I would pull out the A/C and put up a 12v fan on that internal opening to pull air through while boondocking. Probably would need to also have a screen to put in the back of the opening inside that grill area to keep bugs out; and would have to put an outside cover on it as pull it down the road. I would want use the fan mostly and then have option to switch back to the A/C when I wanted to.

We can only forward. I found my small camper to be a great investment. My Vistabule cost far more than a Runaway and has paid for itself many times over by having a kitchen and saving on hotels. I have spent over 300 nights in my camper. At $100 a night, hotels would have cost md $30,000. Hi Cosmo nice review on the trailer. Only one draw back on this trailer is no galley, for me the kitchen area of my trailer is very important. I don't like eating in my sleeping area. I dropped a cup coffie on my mattress once and it took 6 weeks to dry the mattress after I cleaned it👍

Most RVs are equipped with a roof vent (without a problem) Its a very useful ventilation feature. In some conditions its impossible to open the windows. Max fan allows me to ventilate in 95% of conditions. It bleeds off the hot air that is rising. Great to know about the Runaway - not crazy about the separate roof though. I mean - it's not a smooth one piece fiberglass shell. Just too much chance for leaking in my opinion. I get it though - it was $7000. You do get what you pay for and that's certainly a fair price for what you get.
Well fiberglass is often a 2 piece affair. Soon I will be releasing a video about a popular fiberglass rig. Its actually more than one piece of fiberglass. Many FG trailers are constructed this way. Their is sealing between the pieces. That sealing needs to be replaced. I think Beans are constructed that way too. It cost the owner $1200 to have the shell opened and re-sealed. To be fair I called the trailer company (I wanted to see if the trailer owner was being take advantage of by a dealer). They said that can and does happen. The service dealer told them it would have to be serviced every few years to fix that seal leaks. The rig was a 2015 and its reasonable to expect service. Anyone who says rigs dont need service does not know their stuff! At least on the Runaway you can seal it yourself! =Cosmo

These Runaways are cool....one of these or a cargo trailer conversion are great routes for low budget semi-self builds. Generator though...uugh. lol Hey btw Cosmo I have another SOK battery on the way due to ship in a couple weeks... 412 amp hours I'll have total once installed!!! And... I'll need all that power to keep something else I'll be taking along on my trips charged up....I'm very excited it arrives tomorrow....I'm even doing an un-boxing video that will reveal what this mystery power hungry thing is and explain everything to follow soon... so stay tuned.

The full size steel bed frame with wood legs came from walmart. It was about 150.00. I had to cut 5 inches 0ff the side and center rails to fit the width of the trailer. I also cut about 3 inches off the legs. it is a very sturdy frame.

Runaway Camper is a good camper, except the dealer I was dealing with would not except third party financing, I was ordering a Rangerunner, my estimate was just over $9000, ended up buying from another seller, not runaway.

Runaway used to install a fan in the roof, but stopped due to issues with leaks if I’m not mistaken.
Most RVs are equipped with a roof vent (without a problem) Its a very useful ventilation feature. In some conditions its impossible to open the windows. Great to know about the Runaway - not crazy about the separate roof though. I mean - it's not a smooth one piece fiberglass shell. Just too much chance for leaking in my opinion. I get it though - it was $7000. You do get what you pay for and that's certainly a fair price for what you get.
Well fiberglass is often a 2 piece affair. Soon I will be releasing a video about a popular fiberglass rig. Its actually more than one piece of fiberglass. Many FG trailers are constructed this way. Their is sealing between the pieces. That sealing needs to be replaced. I think Beans are constructed that way too. It cost the owner $1200 to have the shell opened and re-sealed. To be fair I called the trailer company (I wanted to see if the trailer owner was being take advantage of by a dealer). They said that can and does happen. The service dealer told them it would have to be serviced every few years to fix that seal leaks. The rig was a 2015 and its reasonable to expect service. Anyone who says rigs dont need service does not know their stuff! At least on the Runaway you can seal it yourself! =Cosmo

These Runaways are cool....one of these or a cargo trailer conversion are great routes for low budget semi-self builds. Generator though...uugh. lol
Hey btw Cosmo I have another SOK battery on the way due to ship in a couple weeks... 412 amp hours I'll have total once installed!!! And... What size bed do you have in there? Did it come with the camper?

The full size steel bed frame with wood legs came from walmart. It was about 150.00. I had to cut 5 inches 0ff the side and center rails to fit the width of the trailer. I also cut about 3 inches off the legs. it is a very sturdy frame.

Runaway Camper is a good camper, except the dealer I was dealing with would not except third party financing, I was ordering a Rangerunner, my estimate was just over $9000, ended up buying from another seller, not runaway.
