    Thanks for this Matt! Appreciate all your content. BTW, on your site, your CTA buttons for your exit intent popups are in green (not red). Just FYI! Maybe you could split test that?

    • @MattDiggity
      @MattDiggity  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Red was way too jarring! But you're right. I should run it again with other shades.

  • @technickr
    @technickr 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    What about the psychological effect of color? Red is a signal color, but it also signals "Stop! Danger! Be careful!" For many conversion optimizers, red as a CTA color is a nogo - for me, too. Is statistically provable - so ALWAYS use an A/B test when making such serious decisions.

    • @MattDiggity
      @MattDiggity  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You hit the nail on the head... always split test.

    Question: Would you recommend putting pros and cons list before the review or at the end of that product's review?

    • @MattDiggity
      @MattDiggity  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      After

    • @iampiyushsingh7544
      @iampiyushsingh7544 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes but after the review and always tell an alternative product or solution for the cons

    Hey Matt does this include using the opposite color wheel on internal and external links? For example is our site is red we would want green links along with green CTA buttons?
    Another incredible video!

    Would you consider doing a video on 'query deserves freshness' as a ranking factor? I'm seeing it as being highly significant based on my keyword rankings in my site portfolio, in a wide variety of niches. I've developed very rudimentary strategies around keeping all my top pages updated as often as possible, but the topic is usually only mentioned in passing. Would love to see a video dedicated to this topic. And maybe there really isn't a lot to actually be said on the topic, but I guarantee you there are loads of beginner SEOs that are not taking this into account and are bleeding keywords daily because they're overlooking this ranking factor. Anyhoo, thanks for all you do Matt!

    • @MattDiggity
      @MattDiggity  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Will add it to the list.

      @@MattDiggity Super grateful, considering how annoying these "Could you do a video on X?" must be, haha. But it's a worthy, under-served topic I believe.

    Hey Matt. Do you find that pure text CTAs can work as well as buttons?

    • @MattDiggity
      @MattDiggity  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Generally, they don't perform as well as buttons, but you should always test.

  • @ZAMtech1994
    @ZAMtech1994 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    You mentioned that you should not tell them where they can get the product in the button text. What would you suggest if your product boxes have 2 buttons pointing to different vendors for the same product. For example, you want to send people to either Amazon or Another store.

    • @MattDiggity
      @MattDiggity  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In that case you kind of have to.

    Orange is not a good color? According to Neil Patel it is the absolute best CTA color.

    0:41 - I'm going to take 1 second to Dislike premature CTA / Rating a video before seeing it... and subsequently being unable to take anything said here seriously... On a website would you shove a popup in a users face in the 1st 20 seconds to rate/like the site... I think you would....
