Ayeyooooo just realized that Manectric Evo was later reworked to Luxray. Was wondering why the Mane + differentl colored front and back legs, looked so familiar So I guess this is why Luxray has a star shaped tail in reference to this beta design.
There's literally no connection to the tropius and the swalot. Just because 2 pokemon are next to each other DOES NOT mean they're connected. You guys are just making stuff up.
I can undertsand drawing directly with sprites and creativity worked as a tool that almost randomly combines different pieces everywhere into the final product might just be the thing at the time. But darwing those creepy creatures to start just screams wasting time to me.
A lot of these look like someone designed them, and then instead of showing someone else the sprotes, they just described the sprites and the second person drew their own sprites based only.on the descriptions.
