This Boss is absolute BS it doesn't tell you Bugs are a different elements so beating them is a absolute slog And 2 argeni is Impossible as soon as I got to phase 2 he spawned 2 of those barrier thing and 2 swords so my party health was already at half followed by 2 Ults Back to back and I'm dead Fuck this boss
I also suffered trying to beat him, but I realized that his attack buff CAN be removed with Pela's ability. From there you only need to destroy the statues that attack, they themselves will lower Argenti's life.
As a new player, This takes me alot of tries. I've not finished this boss yet as of writing this comment. but my strategy is using Pela, which I haven't build yet, Destruction MC, and Fu Xuan , as protection from his onslaught.
I unfortunately don't have pela and in suffering since this will be my 20th time and I honestly ran out of materials. Issue with this is that I can't quit completely cause I'm scared it will restart the whole damn thing 😭 and idk how to farm cuz it's not allowing me ICRY

I had to see guides, builds, raise skills, artifacts and all that to be able to beat him, the key is patience and attacking those orbs that Argenti takes out all the time, especially the one who raises his attack and the one who performs that attack automatic, but buwno, it's all about not giving up and trying until you get it.
I beat him in the first run with a completely random mid team, Bailu, Fire MC, Hanya and Himeko....... So i progressed through the story and got to fight the splitting Beetle things WHICH ABSOLUTELY wrecked this group. So I retreated that fight in hopes of changing my lineup, GUESS WHAT, YOU START THIS SIDE STORY FROM THE BEGINNING.
Seriously, the beetle fight or second Argenti fight themselves aren't even that bad. Yes, they're difficult but the fact that you always need to restart the entire quest from the beginning if you want to try out a different team setup or a different build is just the most frustrating part of this entire mess.
Lol i fought argenti with the most f2p ass team ever: destruction MC, bronya, tingyun and natasha, all level 50, somehow i managed to first try the battle but only MC and Bronya were alive when i won. I barely defeated him when i used Bronya's skill on MC at the last moment and i could charge and use the ultimate on argenti, they both had like 500 and 300 health left

My team => Natasha, Gepard, Silverwolf, Qingque Natasha heal when Gepard shield disappears Gepard keep shield and aggro Silverwolf + Qingque keep focusing on black blade (these who do AOE) Order to focus => 1-Black blade who make AOE 2-White blade who give Shield 3-Red blade who give attack buff Don't attack Argenti directly, keep focusing on the blade (especially the black blade) With this strategy, i kept all my teams at 70%HP, never below.

Finally!!! I defeated him after weeeeeeks, i started this game this month and i must say he was the hardest to fight!! I used atk and hp buffs and used lvl60 e5 fmc, march 7th, yukong and natasha, yukong carried hard with the atk boosts, natasha was the mvp of healing and plus fmc was thr mvp of taunting!!!! Guys use atk and hp buffs so you will defeat him easily!! I will count on you all!
as a casual player i agree because the second time i have to fight him i used a team consisting of preservation!trailblazer, kafka, natasha, and jingliu and honestly i thought my strength wasn't enough so i went and start over the quest again and went with dan heng IB, kafka, jingliu, and huohuo and honestly at this point i will just do the quest all over again with a better set of teams because i honestly don't who to use like?? tbf this quest and only this one specifically should at least add a downloader thingy so we can bring as many party members you want cuz you got the whole argenti fight and then you have to fight the swarms as well and then you gotta fight babygirl mf again as much as i love hsr devs should calm tf down with their endgame contents and let the casual players don't stress over when it comes with tanky boss fights welp anyways any good teams yall reccomend for argenti's second fight?
I’m a new player, i just finished the first Trailblazer mission and i can’t even continue with the second one without beating him and i can’t he’s so hard, i can’t even level up my characters past level 40
You just need to play the calyx and level up yourself He is not a foe whom you can beat with lvl 40 characters After you reach lvl 50 you can try taking him on Another small tip :(You can beat him at lvl 40 if you have pela as she debuffs him)If not After you reach lvl 50 try using some consumables for extra damage and defense Another tip: In his phase 2 you should target the sword like things he has as it attacks you with a lot of swords and kills your characters easily Use fire mc, Clara, pela (if available) or March or Gepard (If available), Healer (Bailu Recommended if not Natasha) I went with Fire mc, asta, bailu and Clara It was pretty good too If you are stuck on this quest and dont know how to pause it (which I guess mostly likely isn't what you were commenting about) You could see an exit option near the map just click on it and click on exit and save You will be done

I loved this quest so much. For anyone who can't beat him, go for double sustain (Preservation and Abundance). Any unit is fine, but I can recommend March 7th and Gepard a lot due to freezing. As for Damage dealers, go for physical or pyro units that break a lot of the toughness bar, like Sushang, Hook or even Physical Trailblazer if you haven't built anything else. When he summons the statues, always focus down the Spear statues first and enhanced Rose statues second. You want to damage Spear statues first, because they damage the whole enemy team if they're destroyed and also reduce Physical toughness (Which ALL statues and Argenti are weak against!). Enhanced Rose statues need to be destroyed or frozen ASAP, because if Argenti gets enhances by them, even your Fu Xuan Team dies if you're not above 50% HP. Good luck!
For those who are struggling with this one hell of a boss battle.. If you have built kafka and black swan, use them along with two sustains. The Arcana DoT is so OP against those spears and blades summons. That's how I beat him easily. It's not advisable to use Single Target DPS
I have MC fire, March 7th, Luka and Bailu and all of them level up to 70 and their cone too at 70 and also their traces 6/10 and 7/10 do i have to change my team and restart? HELP :)
I swear unless you have powerful units that deal wide damage Argenti feels impossible to kill and unless you have a unit to disperse his damage up he could spawn 3 in 2 turns and can get plus 9 on round 3
A small tip : Use Fire Mc, Asta, Clara And Bailu If you don't have bailu and Clara Sub them with Natasha for bailu Clara with any multitarget characters If you have the lineup I recommended and still can't beat him You gotta level up your relics, light cone, and traces If you still can't beat him after having all of these at lvl 50 Then try using consumables. Hope this helps.
Guys! I finally did it! Lost no one. Everyone full/ish health. All level 60. Destruction traveler, Pela, March 7th and Natasha. I used Pela mainly for Argenti while the rest went for the Sword statue. Her killing his defense really saved me!!!
Dude i didn't even make it to finish his first phase and here i am looking up for the fight vidoe and turns out there's phase 2 😢 nah i ain't doing this wtf. I've just started playing HSR 5 days ago and got this Argenti with his light cone (out of luck) and it's still a very unbearably hard fight for me (TL28) guess i won't be doing this for now.
So I got insanely lucky during this fight with my team (Preservation Caelus, Blade, Lynx, Yanqing) and I barely managed to beat him on my second attempt. But this one goes out to all my homies who struggled for hours on Argenti... Fuck this fight!
I only just fought this boss and honestly it wasn't bad - really easy actually. I'm a new player so my builds probably aren't the best, but I think my team was solid: Preservation Trailblazer (shield and taunt) Clara (tank + followup attacks) Ratio (DPS + followup attacks) Aventurine (MORE SHIELDS) My team didnt suffer much HP loss at all, and I found targeting his summons helped me win the fight without too much difficulty.
funny how some people had a hard time with beetles haha but for me i had suffered with argenti my build is gepard,bailu, fire mc, and seele basically i dealt no dmg and i focused argenti so when i got to 2nd phase argenti had 20 stacks 💀
Defeated him using lvl 40 Himeko, Herta, Natasha, lvl 50 Aventurine. It took a long long time, but yea target his summons. Erudition helps w the multi targets. I try to kill the black, then shielder rose first
I was suprised by the sudden difficulty spike and all my characters & lightcones were only level 40 and relics were all level 0. Got demolished the first 3 times but figured out the mechanics after that and beat it pretty easily the 4th attempt with a team of welt, dan, natasha, and asta
It’s been hours and I fight him Atleast 50 times. I do have Gepard and Natasha on my team, I would love to put another healer but I’m wondering if I have to start the quest all over if I change characters

If your stuck and low TB use Clara, if you don't have Clara, Serval should work. March 7th, Natasha, and Fire TB. Use March 7th's and Fire TB ult whenever his boost things appear. This worked for me, I hope it works for you 😊
Am i the only one who couldn't beat him since he came out? I just beat him now using him, Gepard, Huohuo and Linx. The 2nd phase was menace and you heed to focus on the rose and the cross near it, only that way i stayed dealing damage.
Currently use Physical Trailblazer, DHIL, Natasha and Sushang. Still didn't get to keep them survive on the second phase. I wonder what did I do wrong tho...
You don't have any kind of dmg absorb and rely purely on Natasha for survival. I suggest bringing at least a healer and a tank to increase the chance of survival.
Actually I think that Mihoyo do not even understand what kind of character they have made. In this idea of a knifht of beauty is so much potential for the plot and the main story... I guess players do not understand this either. It's very sad that Argenti often looks weird in the plot, instead of being according to his referencing ideas. However I have made the GMV about this character with my own lyrics, and I hope I have fixed this ^^ that's very cool character as my opinion o.o
not saying everyone else has skill issues or anything but i personally was able to beat him by destroying his shields and getting their buffs , which....i think is supposed to be the major gimmick of the fight.

OMG who so ever made this boss fight need to chill the f down. I don't even know how many times I tried to beat it. Still failed. Fu Xuan, Bailu, Physical MC, and peela are my team I can usually outlast any opponents with this team but damn Argenti really slapped me around good.😢
I remember that during the fight with Argenti my cell phone was slow during the ENTIRE mission. The game even crashed while fighting; I have no idea how I managed to get through that battle on the third try xd
I think you dont need serval , just bring the single target char like danheng and MC ( Preservation , skill 2 for defensive ) then you can bring march ( skill 2 for defensive ) and Lynx ( Healer) . Just focus to hit Argenti .
Just beat him yesterday I lack mass healers like Huohuo so I went in with all 4* plus Trailblazer. Hook, Natasha, March 7th, Physical Stelle Took 10 minutes to beat Pela-less (she's unbuilt) at TB 70 started his stupid story at like 60 something but I was so upset I fumbled the first bug fight by inaccurately gauging their hp I didn't wanna have to replay it all again since I was speced for Argenti.

I used bailu, xueyi, ruan mei, fire mc and defeated him with 60-70% hp left for my team! It's very doable just focus on the glowing sword rose thingy that he cast
beat him with sw, phy tb, clara and nat. ran with break effect artifacts, def and health. break his summoned shields asap, prioritising the red ones. if you dont have sw, just roll with a full physical team. the def and health artifacts help if he manages to buff himself a lot, helps you tank more. survive.

I started playing when they giveaway dr.ration, and im stuck at this bossfight, do i have to progress in the story to upgrade kafka traces?
For those who are struggling with this one hell of a boss battle..
If you have built kafka and black swan, use them along with two sustains. The Arcana DoT is so OP against those spears and blades summons.
That's how I beat him easily. It's not advisable to use Single Target DPS
I have MC fire, March 7th, Luka and Bailu and all of them level up to 70 and their cone too at 70 and also their traces 6/10 and 7/10 do i have to change my team and restart? HELP :)
I swear unless you have powerful units that deal wide damage Argenti feels impossible to kill and unless you have a unit to disperse his damage up he could spawn 3 in 2 turns and can get plus 9 on round 3
A small tip : Use Fire Mc, Asta, Clara And Bailu
If you don't have bailu and Clara
Sub them with Natasha for bailu
Clara with any multitarget characters
If you have the lineup I recommended and still can't beat him
You gotta level up your relics, light cone, and traces
If you still can't beat him after having all of these at lvl 50
Then try using consumables.

Guys! I finally did it! Lost no one. Everyone full/ish health. All level 60. Destruction traveler, Pela, March 7th and Natasha.
I used Pela mainly for Argenti while the rest went for the Sword statue. Her killing his defense really saved me!!!
Dude i didn't even make it to finish his first phase and here i am looking up for the fight vidoe and turns out there's phase 2 😢 nah i ain't doing this wtf. I've just started playing HSR 5 days ago and got this Argenti with his light cone (out of luck) and it's still a very unbearably hard fight for me (TL28) guess i won't be doing this for now.

So I got insanely lucky during this fight with my team (Preservation Caelus, Blade, Lynx, Yanqing) and I barely managed to beat him on my second attempt. But this one goes out to all my homies who struggled for hours on Argenti...

I only just fought this boss and honestly it wasn't bad - really easy actually. I'm a new player so my builds probably aren't the best, but I think my team was solid:
Preservation Trailblazer (shield and taunt)
Clara (tank + followup attacks)
Ratio (DPS + followup attacks)
Aventurine (MORE SHIELDS)
My team didnt suffer much HP loss at all, and I found targeting his summons helped me win the fight without too much difficulty.
They made him way too hard on purpose
Note: I still haven't beat him yet I feel so embarrassed
He does so much damage but I didn't struggle too much because I'd already had him on my team by this point lol
GOD his theme is gorgeous like the man himself 😔
Update : i finally win using his twin brother in my team 😅 Argenti VS Argenti ; this was sooo easy 😅

but for me i had suffered with argenti
my build is gepard,bailu, fire mc, and seele basically i dealt no dmg and i focused argenti so when i got to 2nd phase argenti had 20 stacks 💀
I just unlocked this character's quest and I've lost to him twice trying to figure out who's best to deal with him
Defeated him using lvl 40 Himeko, Herta, Natasha, lvl 50 Aventurine. It took a long long time, but yea target his summons. Erudition helps w the multi targets. I try to kill the black, then shielder rose first
Beat him on my second try, but it took FOREVER because i don't have any multi-target characters on my team
I was suprised by the sudden difficulty spike and all my characters & lightcones were only level 40 and relics were all level 0.
Got demolished the first 3 times but figured out the mechanics after that and beat it pretty easily the 4th attempt with a team of welt, dan, natasha, and asta

It’s been hours and I fight him Atleast 50 times. I do have Gepard and Natasha on my team, I would love to put another healer but I’m wondering if I have to start the quest all over if I change characters
this fight is giving me such a hard time because the recommended party level is 50 but mine are 40 and i can't play another quests to level up how am i supposed to beat himmmmmmmmm
Just press exit button before you talk to argenti ( near the logo map )
If your stuck and low TB use Clara, if you don't have Clara, Serval should work. March 7th, Natasha, and Fire TB. Use March 7th's and Fire TB ult whenever his boost things appear. This worked for me, I hope it works for you 😊

Am i the only one who couldn't beat him since he came out? I just beat him now using him, Gepard, Huohuo and Linx.
The 2nd phase was menace and you heed to focus on the rose and the cross near it, only that way i stayed dealing damage.
Least his boss theme is dope, I guess 😅 First time I've actually struggled agaisnt a boss lol

My march and natasha managed to ult just before he used his ult and clutched up. I honestly don't know what I'd do if not for my sushang bronya combo
won with natasha pela sushang and fire mc finally😭😭 the tip to target spears first really helped
My Pela and Himeko make this fight easy, albeit 5 mins but is was glorious. Also Fire Trailblazer practically takes no dmg
Currently use Physical Trailblazer, DHIL, Natasha and Sushang. Still didn't get to keep them survive on the second phase. I wonder what did I do wrong tho...
You don't have any kind of dmg absorb and rely purely on Natasha for survival. I suggest bringing at least a healer and a tank to increase the chance of survival.

Actually I think that Mihoyo do not even understand what kind of character they have made. In this idea of a knifht of beauty is so much potential for the plot and the main story... I guess players do not understand this either. It's very sad that Argenti often looks weird in the plot, instead of being according to his referencing ideas.
However I have made the GMV about this character with my own lyrics, and I hope I have fixed this ^^ that's very cool character as my opinion o.o
I used Imbibitor Lunae, Argenti, Fu Xuan and Tyngyun and it was a walk in the park
IM ban heng is basically a tank and fu Xuan for absorption, tingyun for support

not saying everyone else has skill issues or anything but i personally was able to beat him by destroying his shields and getting their buffs , which....i think is supposed to be the major gimmick of the fight.

OMG who so ever made this boss fight need to chill the f down. I don't even know how many times I tried to beat it. Still failed. Fu Xuan, Bailu, Physical MC, and peela are my team I can usually outlast any opponents with this team but damn Argenti really slapped me around good.😢

Oohh which characters are you running?
Just turn on easy mode. It will be much easier. Just hit his armor and damage boosting things and you will be able to kill him that way.
I remember that during the fight with Argenti my cell phone was slow during the ENTIRE mission. The game even crashed while fighting; I have no idea how I managed to get through that battle on the third try xd
Seems always having March 7th and E1 Bailu on my team from the start of the game was not a mistake

I think you dont need serval , just bring the single target char like danheng and MC ( Preservation , skill 2 for defensive ) then you can bring march ( skill 2 for defensive ) and Lynx ( Healer) . Just focus to hit Argenti .

Just beat him yesterday I lack mass healers like Huohuo so I went in with all 4* plus Trailblazer. Hook, Natasha, March 7th, Physical Stelle
Took 10 minutes to beat Pela-less (she's unbuilt) at TB 70 started his stupid story at like 60 something but I was so upset I fumbled the first bug fight by inaccurately gauging their hp I didn't wanna have to replay it all again since I was speced for Argenti.
Second phase. After 4 or 5 strike all character die
I only have lvl 50 and brings MC ( preservation ) , Danheng , Lynx and march .. your defensive will be so great and just focus to hit argenti .. ( im F2P player )

I need help, I use gepard, jing yuan, natasha, and fire mc. I have died twice and they are mostly leveled up for a f2p (also I don’t have many characters)
I used bailu, xueyi, ruan mei, fire mc and defeated him with 60-70% hp left for my team!
It's very doable just focus on the glowing sword rose thingy that he cast
I try to focus only on the sword rose thing but I am never able to break those without one character dying

ran with break effect artifacts, def and health.
break his summoned shields asap, prioritising the red ones.
if you dont have sw, just roll with a full physical team.
the def and health artifacts help if he manages to buff himself a lot, helps you tank more.

if you use a fire character, the boss will be just cooked cornbeef
