We didn't get a "Wildfire" moment in the middle of the boss fight, but damn that scene of DanHeng splitting the sea made up for it.
I think we would get that sort of moment when trailblazer unlocks new power or when we have a chance to defeat the boss, I really thought jing yuan would die here tho.

I was thinking about the exact same thing! It would be nice if they added it so that when you use Jing Yuan in the Echo of War of this fight, the game would use this voice line from the story battle.

I feel like Welt is holding back tremendously here as not to reveal his power in fear of being a target for the Aeons. Because, canonically, his cane which is a Divine Key, has the power to create a Supernova and destroy an entire Solarsystem if he wants to. Even without his Herrscher powers, he should still be able to do this according to the Hi3 manga.

Herscherr powers seem to be under the authority of Terminus, the aeon of finality
@youmnacookie2960 That's just a theory. But Herrscher powers are actually canonicaly under the Cocoon of Finality. Only HoTE herself can control all Herrscher powers, while the Cocoon manifests Honkai energy from the Imaginary Space through the Imaginary Tree. Terminus is just another powerful Aeons with the same title as the Cocoon. The two aren't related to one another because the Cocoon exists above the 11D structure of the Imaginary Tree, while HSR has 4D cosmology max and exists inside a branch (universe) of the Imaginary Tree.
@@youmnacookie2960 Kiana currently has control over the cocoon of finality in HI3rd so it could mean that for every universe the Cocoon picks a person for it to channel its powers? That is if Terminus is indeed connected to the Cocoon of Finality, it could be entirely different as well so we don't know if he even has authority over anything Honkai related. Only that he is an Aeon linked to the concept of "future"
Because their is some confusion regarding this, let me clear some things up:-
1) Phantylia here, the Emanator of destruction(also called lord ravager) is being powered by both the Aeon of destruction and aeon of abundance(Yaoshi). Destruction because she’s the Emanator of that aeon and abundance because she took over the Ambrosial Arbor(one of Yaoshi’s strongest creations. So strong even Lan(Aeon of The Hunt) couldn’t fully destroy it.
2) Dan Heng is the scion of the Aeon of permanence called Long. It won’t be wrong to assume Dan is also like an Emanator to Long if not stronger because he and his race was created from Long. But he is the one carrying the dragon spirit. Making him that strong.
3) Jing Yuan baited Phantylia throughout that entire boss fight to focus her onslaught solely on him. Why? To protect us and specially Dan Heng the only person capable of sealing the Ambrosial Arbor’s infinite regeneration ability that Phantylia was using to heal herself over and over again. The Vidhyadhara arts are the only ones who can seal arbor.
4) In simulated universe their is an destruction blessing that allows you to spread damage across the whole team. Because the teammates are then linked together.
Phantylia used the same link ability to try and turn Jing Yuan into a destruction beast like herself. It happened because Jing Yuan was intentionally baiting her into doing that. Why? So that the destruction link would be formed between them and damage would be shared. Then he asks Dan Heng to stab him, so that this Dan’s attack can hit Phantylia through the shared link. This damage she cannot defend against because it’s coming from the link not directly. This attack also stops her Regen/damage prevention and gives Jing Yuan the opportunity to one-shot her body with a single powerful strike from Lightening Lord.
5) Also this means that Jing Yuan tanked attacks from not 1 not 2 but 3 aeons Emanators. Phantylia bringing Destruction and Abundance and Dan Heng in that final strike when he stabs Jing Yuan the power of Permanence.
I was so confused what was going on the whole quest and in the end i was thinking why Dan heng speared him etc etc... but now i know what actually happened, and damn you're smart 😂i was just fighting the boss thinking what a big boss she must be a God but it seems she was just an emanator. Thanks for the info.
Thanks for the detailed explaination. While reading I also came to the conclusion of 5) before I got there.
Jing Yuan was resisting Phantylia trying to turn him and tanked not only 3 but FOUR Aeon's powers. Bc in addition to Dan Heng's hit, at the same time he also tanked the Lightning Lord's (Erudition) hit. Jing Yuan tanked what was enough to destroy Phantylia's body.
Daym.. The way you bring it, it shows that JY really that strong
Not to mention his current path not his original path (if i get the story right)

Inbibitor Lunae's theme is so epic and the cutscene gives me straight up chills. I came to yt just to watch it over again.
Literally just laying down on the couch going through phase 1 and 2.
Then the theme for Phase 3 hit, she brought all my characters down to half hp like nothing, and Jing Yuan said “out of ideas Phantylia?!” It was so glorious I had to sit up and process wtf just happened 😂
Hoyo never misses. Also Jing Yuan killed it this fight in every way. Wasn’t that big of a fan before but he’s got me hooked now.
Ahh yes. From couch potato to 45 degree angle body lean with face a little close to your monitor/phone screen. The good old classic "Tries Harder" tactic.
I was in shock with tingyun I think. That body we saw is not tingyuns if it's her then she just straight up dead hopefully in the companion quest with her in the future it's probably finding I am in denial that tingyun is dead

10:45 My favorite part of the fight is when the Lighting Lord was behind Phantylia and stabbed her from the back, I was waiting for that but I was hoping it was a slash but it still cool

I had to replace blade with seele here, she is so hard.
I didn't think it was that hard and was a bit disappointed tbh.

@@datosdatos9342 makes sense, I also think the trailblazer is quiet because they can sense the stellaron in them linking with the stellaron planted into the arbor
The Trailblazer isn't the mc of this arc unlike belobog and Herta space station he played no major role even in the beginning other than defeating the ebon deer. The mc is Danheng hence why he got a power up instead of the mc.
Jing yuan is the real mvp
This was a good main story update but it felt too rushed and they left us on a cliff hanger once again.
Well there's an interlude remaining. So maybe they will complete the story in the next patch. Coz this felt really incomplete
Plus we still have no idea about how and why Jingliu is here

Jing Yuan is a fking beast man. He literally survived an atk from a Scion of Permanance while being weakened by a Lord ravager being buffed by the Ambrosial Arbor. No wonder he is an Arbiter General.
No Hoyo game is complete without the bosses being hot

If this is how Honkai Star Rail's gonna be- Intense boss fights, more solid story, godly music, and higher stakes than anything Genshin could offer; than I'm keeping my account and updating as often as I can! Screw counting on Co-op, this just looks fun!

I don't count on co-op much. Just up your characters before you level up your world and u should be able to carry yourself. But right now I prefer star rail because it's faster and easier, (no time to play much) love the art and the music 😊.

@@rufus1637 you can still enjoy it without spending. It's not hard to build your toons. Just grind and build the characters that you have. You don't need to be overpowered, no need to have op toons either. I just pull with whatever wishes I have and ended up with characters like, kazuha, nahida, kokomi. They pretty much carry my team. Plus there isn't much advantage for topping up, cuz there is no pvp feature. What I'm saying is, you can still enjoy the game without topping up.
Too short to be called a story update, dont get me wrong the cutscenes are amazing but the story itself, yeah.
I agree , imo I really hope we explore other xianzhou ship because there is so much that isn't explained yet in xianzhou story maybe after luofu interlude also because phantylia comment about destruction targeting xianzhou

I beat all of the trailblazer mission within two hours at like 2 AM since that’s when it came out for me and I beat her on my first try since I already main Jing Yuan and have him built + Loucha didn’t let anyone die 😂

This boss fight wasn't as difficult as I thought. Brought my Phys Trailblazer, Dan Heng and March to use with the trial Jing Yuan, and the team did just fine (Trailblazer kinda died in the middle of the third phase though, but the rest survived so lol).
My fav part about this is actually Jing Yuan's sassy exchanges with Phantylia. I bursted out laughing the moment he said "The weeds in my garden gives me more grief" lmao.

Jing Yuan still had a huge dispute against Phantylia. That’s why he is hunting her down in the final climatic showdown!
I just barely scraped by this boss battle as f2p player lol. I had the MC, Natasha, Jing Yuan & Den heng. On her final life bar she took down everyone on my team accept for Jing Yuan & it was literally a 1v1 on 1hp between Jing Yuan & Phantylia. I was screaming at my monitor with joy like a school girl at 12:30AM when I used his ultimate to finish the battle. This game is amazing😂
Anyone really love the animation where Phantylia reveals herself? The chanting and the flower levitating to form a crown. Like she’s a divine goddess.

Well, not yet in this patch. And Xianzhou Luofu arc is NOT over yet. We would most likely get the Hunt Path at the end of this story arc.
@@erwinbedia9606 My guess, if it works like Genshin, with the god being the first pull of the version where the story arc ends, we will have the end next version, because Dan Heng IL will be pullable during 1.3

For some reason, I won on my third try after switching Silver Wolf for an underleved Natasha. Abundance helped be beat Abundance. Preservation Trailblazer also tanked most of the dmg and gave free shields, so my whole team was able to survive the 3rd phase’s first turn. The key really is keeping Jing Yuan from getting hurt until phase 3.

During the fight when I played it on the second phase, When she did the starfall move, *Jing was at 9 HP.* If I hadn’t Brought Natasha with me it would’ve been game over.

So with this, the loufu arc is done right? Or are there still main story quests left? And also is Tingyun really dead, as dead-dead and her corpse is just possessed by one of Nanooks leuitenants?
Because if this is the last quest on the Loufu then it is a given that we will get Abundance MC, instead of the Hunt, which is bad for me because I am keeping everything to have a good chance of getting Lady Fu, kinda wanted the Hunt MC so he can be my main dmg dealer again

I was absolutely terrified of having to fight her since I started playing 4 days ago, she’s easier than Cocolia, in my opinion. My blade makes short work of her and her lotus flowers

i dont play honkai - turn based just isnt my thing - but DAMN do the clips ive seen of it thus far make me wanna download it
Turn based isn’t my thing as well but after my friend and bro our convinced me to play, I was NOT disappointed. The music, plot, and characters are great!! Although it ain’t open world but the story is awesome enough to keep you hooked.

When i did the boss i had to bring 2 preservation caracters bc jingyun keeps getting killed on the finale phase
While this was a cool fight, if this was supposed to be like the Cocolia fight of the Xianzhou it was kinda lackluster ngl. It didn't feel like it had nearly as much weight as the cocolia fight

@@Shoyura. Don't get me wrong it was cool, but with the Cocolia fight I really felt like everything we did led up to it, but the Xianzhou is kinda all over the place and we only even realized Phantylia was a threat like an hour of gameplay before fighting her
I think this was the Svarog of the Xianzhou. I doubt they're done.

Genshin has regions with multiple trounce bosses (Liyue, Inazuma) could be Star Rail is approaching with this angle and there will be another boss that might unlock Trailblazer's Hunt Path.
The Loufu arc is far from done it seems, there still is an Interlude but we have to wait for leakers or the official release to confirm for sure
what exactly happened with JY and phantillya? how did he break free and what did dan heng did
JY let her link up wirh him and allow Dan to stab JY to inflict damage to her too while he damaged her as well. Caused her to fall apart and retreat
I had to do this fight 2 times before finally winning (by a thread) on my third try
