So to follow up, I did eventually used my concept. I had a lot. Moves, phases, summoning while you can't hurt him. I didn't have the extreme measures phase, didn't want to go too deep yet. I even said that AC wasn't a thing, and that every attack from Hades could be completely negated with a high enough dex check to simulate Zagreus dodging, while Hades doesn't dodge and thus every attack was an automatic hit. My execution of it was very poor, but i think the concept was all right. I should just have tweaked the numbers, since I thought letting Hades keep his health from the game as described by the wiki, and slapping a 10x damage multiplier on my players damage would fix it. Have learned a lot since then, but if someone wants, I could post all my notes in here.
I know this is random, but I used this games' soundtrack as background music for a solo flawless run of Ghosts of the deep in Destiny 2 the week after it came out and these themes specifically were used at the final boss. It's a wonder the effect this track can have on anything you do xD
@@thedeathray8620 If you really want to fuck with your players, make them take their turn to a timer that makes them lose it if they don't act. No more than 6 seconds.
Well, um... should I then remove the old "God of the Dead" extension? :/ [Spoilers] And yeah, Extreme Measures 4 gives you the REAL final boss fight. I think this variation must be after your 9 successful attempts (cuz after 10th victory mother comes back to Hell), so this is "most" final obstacle to reunion.
GODDAMNIT
I've known how to loop first phase properly ONLY NOW.
I WANT TO REUPLOAD IT... ( т.т)
you should

Phase 1- GEE I wonder.
Phase 2- 19:10
Phase 3- 39:49
This is great. I can finally use this as music for my attempt at translating the Hades fight to D&D.
