I feel your pain. Jobs that should only take 20 mins take a bloody eternity! That's why we love working on our cars!!! 😂
Great video! I feel your pain and yet your humour is a hoot! Just subscribed and look8ng forward to more of your videos!
Hi thanks so much for watching and supporting the channel. I'm so please you're enjoying the content. Lots more to come 😃
Greetings from Little Falls, MN USA. I enjoy your videos. Our problem solving skills are very similar. I retired in 2020 and bought a 30 year old house (2600 sq ft.) and remodeled and updated the entire thing. Many construction dilemmas like yours. Also I have owned Audi’s for 30 years and diy all maintenance and repairs. Currently I own a 02 TT 225
roadster and D4 A8 4.0T. Does your RS6 have COD? My D4 has an 14:21 14:21 annoying vibration at low RPMs in the four-cylinder mode. I’m debating whether to install APR tune to rectify it. Also I’m cursed with an affinity for Fiat’s. Currently restoring a 1983 124 spider. I restored a 1982 X1/9,and I throughly enjoy my 2012 500 Abarth. All for now. Keep the videos coming!
Hello there from Little Falls, MN!
Thank you so much for your kind words and for being a fan of my videos. It's always great to hear from fellow DIY enthusiasts. Love your choice of cars, some good old-fashioned mechanical maintenance and restoration right there. I have always loved the Mk1 TT but never owned one yet. I could never quite afford the insurance when they first came out. I have recently owned a Mk3 TT and loved it. I had tuned it to 340BHP which was fun.
Regarding your RS6 COD, are you referring to Cylinder On Demand? If so, yes, it does have it but I haven't noticed any issues thus far. An APR tune would certainly liven it up a little that for sure, but they would do an ECU health check on it first anyway, so either way, it might fix it and make it more fun!!.
Stay tuned for my new video coming out this week!
Thanks again for your support, and happy driving!
I once scrapped a 2002 A4 because both pinch bolts were seized solid. After many hours trying to free them I gave up and bought a Volvo S40
They are the Achilles heel of maintenance on these Audi’s 🤦♂️. I’ve yet to work o na Volvo but quite fancy an old T5 estate for the channel one day 👌

Some of the things Audi does in their designs makes you think they want you to go insane doing repairs
Smashed it mate 👌
Thanks for the support dude :D
i want to know how you got that pinch bolt out so fookin quick, they are notorious for seizing
Haha well spotted. Fortunately I endured the pain of removing them about 18 months ago when I replaced all the bushes. And I can confirm they were a nightmare 🤦♂️. Thank god otherwise the car would have been scrapped lol
@@InDadsGarage mate i had to cut the end off and drill the rest of it out, new pinch bolts from audi £22 + vat each, i nearly fell through the floor, a year later the rack packed in so i scrapped it, i refused to pay the money to get it done or drop the engine down to do it myself
@@paddyici6629 haha that’s the reality of these older runners. I couldn’t find a replacement power steering hose second hand or aftermarket for this particular model. OEM one was nearly £400 and the only eBay one I could find (the one I bought) was from Poland and I negotiated it down to £80 from over £100. I recon a garage would have charged close to £800 for that job and I bet the car is only worth £1k 😂
@@InDadsGarage new rack £300 and they wanted a grand to fit it, was ironic though because i pulled the engine out when i broke it for parts lmao i just got sick of it, ended up buying a B8.5 A4 S Line Avant, the 170 brake, still got it now as a daily and my B6 S4 as a weekender thing
Haha the irony. You probably did right anyway. A more modern and comfortable daily. I’ll be looking to upgrade to something similar at some point for my daily 💪. Obviously with some maintenance requirements to start with 😜
Great, insightful videos man! Just wondering, what spacers (brand) did you use? Thnx!!
Hey thanks for watching and sharing your kind feedback 😃. I have a set of Bimecc spaces and bolts from eBay. Running 12mm on the front and 20mm on that back with no issues of rubbing etc. They just fill out the arches nicely. 👌
Good Job, Will order one for my dad.
Ball park swing at a mk1 S3 for the project car, unless you've gone rogue and strayed from Audi...
Oww interesting guess, but a swing and a miss 😜. It’s abit of a curveball to be fair. I’ll put you out of your misery in the next couple of weeks 😎👌
Take the B7 out in the snow for a free undertray deletion.
You have a foul mouth, some of us watch these videos with our kids! Clicked don't recommend channel
Merry Christmas 🎅 ya filthy animal 🙌
Mate, please remove those Auxito crap from your car. They will burn out and maybe set your car on fire. They are garbage and will blind oncoming cars. If you want proper LED bulbs - Morimoto/GTR Lighting/Xenon Depot. Those are the only ones worth using. And they are error free.
I used AUXITO and I have them aimed correctly on my Civic until the Civic was sold. Honestly, I was satisfied with the performance. Maybe they are not the best, They are worth of my money, though. Did AUXITO hurt your heart,Mate?
I also do not think they are legal for car if they did not come out the factory with LEDs fitted. As the headlight was never designed for them originally it could cause oncoming driver to be dazzled. Asked my garage last year about this and it would be an MOT fail.
