This year I am going to make more effort with PPE as its no worth the risk of injury or illness. Thanks again for tuning is 😀🙌

@ No worries. Yeah my attitude to PPE changed when I was under a rusty old Triumph Herald with an angle grinder and a spec of metal whizzed through an air vent in my goggles and embedded in my eye! A nurse scraped it out with a hypodermic needle and I used a full face shield after that. For a mask, I recommend the JSP Force 8 Medium Mask Respirator with Press-to-Check Filters P3 from Screwfix.

Thanks so much for watching and leaving a comment. Wow thats some millage, but great to hear they will run that long with proper maintenance. Hopefully after a new head gasket, proper service and maintenance I can get many good years out of it. Tax and MOT exempt soon swell which will be a bonus.

@ yes, I’ve seen all the experts commenting about how bad they are and you need to get shot of it.. in all honesty, it will cost you money as it’s an old landy and from the looks of it it’s not been that well cared for. But if you Keep them clean and the chassis and bulkhead protected and drive them like a Land Rover should be driven and they will last a lifetime… and use good quality parts is a must!
