    Could you make a video on which countries you can work in as a qualified physiotherapist from the UK and what you have to do to be able to work in certain countries? I’m hoping to get into uni this year to study physiotherapy and I was hoping to then work in America or Australia or elsewhere 🙂

      Hey Marmotreco, I think the job market for physios is still good but you will have a better idea if you speak to a healthcare recruiter. They have a closer connection to what is happening.
      Have you done your HCPC registration?

    hi Masud, i was just wondering, If I want to become a sports therapist at a club. What would be some good routes to take, when wanting to pursue this dream. I am coming up to my final year in high school/ secondary school. And I was thinking about uni's and courses to take. Have you got any information that can possible be useful. many thanks, and love the vids.

      Start contacting physios at local clubs and asking to spend time with them.
      Make friends with them and just stay in touch.
      Connect with other physios on LinkedIn.
      In terms of study - Biology A level is essential requirement at most universities. Check out some university physio course pages online to get yourself educated.
      Just go to google and search ‘physio degree course’ . You’ll get loads, read up on them and you could even contact a local one to you to ask if you can observe or speak to current students.
      Good luck mate
      **just read you said sports therapist. In this case just do the same as I mentioned above but for sports therapy courses. 👍🏼

    Hi Masuud, sorry for a question unrelated to the video. Looking to start at Plymouth this year for physio :) Going as a mature student (24) and wondering what your recommendation for accommodation is? Private or Uni halls? Halls/no halls? Want to make some buddies!

    • @masudsaeediphysiotherapy8689
      @masudsaeediphysiotherapy8689  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Tom, I would say private residence is a good option as a mature student as halls is quite a younger demographic (fresh out of college/sixth form) from memory.
      I’ve found a student share house is good. Try to inquire with the landlord about the other students and if you can meet them beforehand (before signing a lease) via social.. may help with seeing if it will be a good match but you never really know how anyone is like.
      Because of covid I’m not sure how it will affect socialising but hopefully not much by the time you’re there later this year.
      It’s easy to meet and make friends honestly mate - you’ll probably make some buddies on the course and just join a few societies or go down to the student union / library. Key thing is just to be open to new things. You’ll love it

    • @masudsaeediphysiotherapy8689
      @masudsaeediphysiotherapy8689  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Having said that though, Halls can be good for meeting other people and it is quite a bit of a laugh.. so forget what I said, in the first year, go for halls as it will probably end up being a good experience (depending on the quality of your halls) and you’ll make memories 😄

    • @tomsmith9027
      @tomsmith9027 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@masudsaeediphysiotherapy8689 Yes that was my thinking.. I can ask to be grouped with people of similar age in halls and will be a chance to meet people to potentially move in with for 2nd and 3rd year. Also, I heard people affected by covid only got their rent money back for halls but not private accommodation! so am considering for this reason also.
      Thanks for the help mate! Your videos have been really helpful on my journey ✌🏼

    What happens if u fail one of the exams , is that it? Does that mean you can’t get your degree? Also how often are these exams?
    Thanks!

    • @masudsaeediphysiotherapy8689
      @masudsaeediphysiotherapy8689  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good question Lewis, if you fail an exam you can retake again in the summer usually.. if you fail again you can do it one more time but if you fail after that I think they will have to drop you off the course or you have to retake the year…
      Think positive though, if you work hard, you can pass

    • @masudsaeediphysiotherapy8689

      Hi Arsalan, if you provide me more info I can perhaps guide your decision making.
      Your end goal ?? - what do you want to happen after your course?
      Have you practiced as a physiotherapist professionally already in your home country?
      Have you had an offer accepted yet ?

    Do you know any Italian Physio who got their degree validated? I'm finishing university and I want to get a master degree in Orthopedic Manual Therapy after, should I do it here in Italy or directly in UK? Will it be validated if I do it in Italy?
    Thank you so much!

    • @masudsaeediphysiotherapy8689
      @masudsaeediphysiotherapy8689  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Salvo, to answer your first question, no I don’t.
      Secondly, your decision should be based on your end goal - where do you want to work eventually? .. if it’s in the U.K. perhaps studying here may be better to make it easier for transitioning but at I think only the HCPC can advise on weather it would be accepted for practice in U.K.. if you were to study it in Italy.
      I’m not sure unfortunately.

      Hi Kam, I would say it is best to check on the university course pages who offer the course as they would have more specific information. But usually it’s £10-18k for international students. Perhaps more with living expenses.
