    Been watching these videos and can already tell this will help me a lot as someone who is very analytical about my singing. It’s hard for me to “feel” something and replicate it without knowing how it should work first

    Kurt this is amazingly helpful for my voice, the last year I've really been learning about head/ mixed voice, I've been singing almost 20 years and never knew these were a thing. I always stayed in chest voice never learning how to expand my range and was getting frustrated so many years not knowing why I could never sing high and always hitting a ceiling. I was slowly finding head and mixed the last year until recently I found your channel with your recent videos on this topic , I am finally able to sing Cornell and Cobain and Staley without strain, and finally understanding how the voice really works. ❤from the bottom of my heart, thank you!!!!

    Awesome! Thank you for your videos. During this exercise, your voice timbre changed. How did you do it? Raise your soft palate? If so, how did you do it? Please tell me. What did you do exactly that your voice timbre changed?

    • @wolfstudiosnyc
      @wolfstudiosnyc  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Hi, the change it tone occurred from adding Pharyngeal resonance (nasal resonance) to the head voice. This can be achieved by practicing the exercises which are detailed and explained in the video.
      We can also help you achieve this in your voice training. Please email info@wolfstudiosnyc.com if you would like to be schedule a voice lesson.

    Quick question, seems I can go higher with the ng when my tongue is out, does that reduce the effectiveness of the exercise?

    • @wolfstudiosnyc
      @wolfstudiosnyc  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That can work too, and may help to alleviate tongue tension.

    What is the larynx positon when do NG hum?

    • @wolfstudiosnyc
      @wolfstudiosnyc  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You can do this exercise with any larynx position actually. The ideal position might be a relaxed, neutral position.

    Kurt You are one of the best voice teachers because you have the ability to cut to the chase in a very plain spoken way and at the same time very intelligent. Is the NG one of the exercises that we can practice high phrases on? Also, does one of your videos explain how to get rasp on A4 to high C?

    • @wolfstudiosnyc
      @wolfstudiosnyc  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you for your comment! Yes, the NG can be very effective for training high phrases. Just be sure not to push too hard or sing too loud when utilizing NG because it cannot accommodate a big breath force. I have a few videos or how to sing with rasp.
