Pretty sure that was Roy Oswalt. If you know much about him it’s no surprise he would react to lightning like that, he grew up in country and he never left that personality behind.
@@Beezlie727 But even if it's "just" cloud to cloud, when the lightning and thunder are that close in time, it was damned close. And cloud to cloud could be cloud to ground on the next bolt. You don't crap around with lightening.
@@zeed7407, depends on the location when the regular season comes around. Chicago, Detroit, Minnesota, Colorado, and Milwaukee can get snow in April and even Pittsburgh and Cleveland can get "lake effect" snow as well. Minnesota didn't have that issue when they played in the old Metrodome and Houston has a retractable roof on theirs, so they can play when bad weather is predicted.
About a year ago it was raining so hard in Houston that they had rain inside Minute Maid Park. Even though the roof was closed. Forgot exactly how it was raining inside but it wasn’t a leak.
Baseball and music my two true loves. I can't go a week without watching a few games and I can't go a day without listening to my favorite bands like Delta Parole.
Trying to look for a small white object flying in the air at 50+ miles an hour when there's white all around is kinda hard to see ngl in rain I've played that before the amount of f ups was hilarious even though we lost 7-6
Innosault I forgot about MLB Stadiums wanting to preserve their fields, my bad. Although even if it isn’t raining and lightning strike near enough by they’ll put the game into delay.
I love that the Rangers pitcher just casually walks off the mound when lighting hits
Pitchers embrace all strikes.

SHADOW!!!
Wait what the fuck? SHADOWBEATZ?
Awesome! Love how quick everyone runs at the sound of thunder!
Bro I loved that Twins Rangers game when it happened 😂
My favorite part is still that Willingham on 1st hit the dirt when he heard the thunder
I was at that Rangers game, that thunder was so loud
Go Rangers...
Damn when there was a thunder sound the announcer said that hit somewhere
Because every time you hear thunder, that means there is lightning
Some lightning bolts do go cloud to cloud & not cloud to ground, so yes, it DID strike "somewhere" but it could have been just another cloud.

0:25 SNOW IN MLB BASEBALL? Why Am I Surprised?
I mean baseball is usually played in Florida and Arizona during March, and the regular season is April to September

How u gonna play in snow with the ball being white ? Error on the play lol

Watching from California, all that precipitation sure looks nice.
Noice mate
Dude u should do most disrespectful moments in baseball
This is hilarious
Nolan is so lucky he hit it right on the barrel 😂
I think baseball should be played in snow an rain
If it is In rain the ball gets waterlogged
You’ve obviously never played baseball
for one, player injuries would skyrocket

Imagine being struck out while it’s raining knowing that it’s harder for the pitcher to grip the ball
That makes it harder to hit though because it adds movement. Like the spitball.
Las Vegas in the summer do it
And what do ya see??

Winter in Baseball????
Why were the angels and rangers both wearing red jerseys
I was saying the same thing
You would think that MLB would put their foot down on that and require teams to have contrasting jersey colors.
Because it doesn’t really matter in baseball.
Jerseys were different back in my day
An irishman here.. i thought play stopped when it rains?
As long as it’s just rain without lightening/thunder they’ll usually keep playing.

John Phelan not really true, it depends on how much rain is suppose to hit. If there is lots of rain on the forecast, they’ll bring out the tarp

what about the phillies-rays ws game trying to get 5 innings in,what a bunch of crap they were playing that world series game, very stupid!!!
they’re not that bad
Football they keep playing. Base ball they should be made to play in the weather. They are highly paid and should suck it up and stay on the field
