Erika Slezak has never wanted to be a movie star (which is 10 times easier than working on a soap) nor does she have to prove her acting skill by being in a movie. She is just as good if not better than a lot of the A listers that grace big screens today.
Tell that to her 6 emmy awards. Erika Slezak is great becasue of her depth & vulnerability, don't try & downplay her talent simply because she chose to stay on a soap opera that has given her work for the past 40+ years, meanwhile most A-listers are lucky if they work non-stop for the next 5 years after their first film & win a fraction of the awards & accolades Erika Slezak has. Not to mention half of them aren't even as talented as she is.
@Abbyviki True. Viki's alters have interesting names that partly relate to her childhood. Victor Lord was her molester. Princess was the name Victor called her. Jean Randolph was short for Viki's mother's name, Eugenia Randolph. Jess' names basically roll of the tongue easily when said. That's it. They copied the Viki/Niki name rhyme with Tess but Bess' name is just not that creative.

Tommy I'm not sure why they picked that name for viki s rage . like u said princess is the little girl Victor messed with and Nikki was the one that I guess they chose years and years ago that rhymed and the last name smith is like a common name like Jones. and the last personality we saw once was Victor lord which was viki s father . I hate to say it bc i just watched tess scenes with Ford although they were interesting it kinda is a mockery of this brilliant storyline. Malone researched real d.i.d cases and this was a very serious and sad and riveting story . like how they showed that all the handwriting is different and that jean actually needs glasses . it's brilliant and that's how real and unique the personalities are . years later oltl kinda played fast and loose with the rules they set for did. like the alters know exactly who viki s friend dsw and family are and know all about her life but when tess was out she didn't know kelly who was Jessica's long time best friend. I guess the host unlike the alters has no idea what happens when they are gone . I know with jean Nikki and tess they know exactly what happens to the host
I'm guessing theirs a bathroom & shower down there . Anytime jean went into dorians space she should have attacked. Then again if it didnt work jean threatened a closet somewhere. Robin deserved the supporting actress emmy since erika deservedly won the lead actress. Erika is better than any movie actress like 3 faces of eve. Sally field was awesome as cybill for erika is just as good.
