No one has commented yet, but the carpenter is being played by Forrest Compton, who was a semiregular on Gomer pile and played Mike Karr on the edge of night for several years.

Viki was a complete mess at this point.

I call this the "ripping the band aid" moment..... skin and all. Tina was crushed, David played the con man role, and Jean was laughing deliriously on the inside, as she knew she was a puppet master and she was controlling the show.

Here's what I never get when they have kidnapping scenes. How is the kidnapped person going to the bathroom? I guess that's why it's TV.

It's always interesting: whenever soaps or tv shows do a DID story, the person ALWAYS seems to have the prop readily available that distinguishes one alter from the other. Like, Niki just happened to have Jean's glasses on hand when she was suppose to be NIKI.

I loved how hard core viki was w/ Tina. * I loved tina but thus version was written horribly & it wasn't in character for tina to deceive viki like this about David. However tina did always just want her share of the lord estate given she was the only one not living off his $$ like viki Todd Dorian & all their spouses & kids but tina never could go through w/ defrauding viki like when she kicked mitch to the curb when he started going too far. I get Tina's frustration at getting screwed over about some inheritance but I really enjoyed Jean so much & her not getting manipulated. Esp telling tina she was wasting time trying to explain when she had 24 hrs to pack. Her pulling the kids card wasn't gonna work w/ Jean who is that side if viki that won't be manipulated or guilted. Love how tina Said " u won't let me explain its not like u " & Jean as she runs off saying " it's exactly like me " brilliant. If everyone was efficient like Jean & didn't let emotions get in the way nobody could con us. Tina I always thought got the raw deal never getting victors $$ & viki was always cold about that as tina was the first time viki had to face Victor was not the God like figure viki thought he was. I hated that they made Victor into a incestuous pedo but Rauch went down that road of Victor having a double life & being a perv I mean sleeping w/ ur daughters 18 year old roommate getting her pregnant & keeping it secret is so disgusting in itself. Todd even said before he learned the real horror that even tops what he did said " what a perv he was nailing his daughters college roommate she was only 18 how skeevy is that " he was right. It is gross. Then later when he brought vikis alters out again saying " he didn't learn his lesson the first time he Fathers another bastard ( him) & leaves it up to Irene to figure out to do when the kiddies come. That's when viki flipped to I think Jean & told him to leave & never return to llainfair he was never welcome. Later he got more freaked out when Nikki started hitting on him at the bar given Nikki in this version didn't see Todd or Victor as blood. She told Clint that's why Nikki was born to deal w/ the sex & since Victor wasn't related to her she was invented to handle it.

About "this" Tina: Krista Tesreau did a Soap Opera Digest podcast interview earlier this year, talking about her time on OLTL. She told of how she was offered the role without any audition or test (then-EP Susie Horgan knew her from GL and that was all she needed). Then she spoke of how she didn't fully realize what she was taking on or what Tina was about: She was caught off-guard when she was directed to be sexy in the role; she felt inhibited (she contrasted herself to Karen Witter, saying that Witter was "uninhibited" as an actor).... And finally, she conceded how she ultimately "fizzled out" - explaining that from day one, she flew back to LA every single weekend to spend with her then-boyfriend who had a serious drug problem. Tesreau admitted that her life situation kept her from fully investing, and that she was often "phoning it in" as Tina - and that she does "take responsibility for that." Good on her for being honest! I give her credit for that, and to my knowledge, everyone enjoyed working with her as a person. I never felt she quite was right for the part, and I know many share that opinion. Even back then I thought it was absolute madness that she was offered the role without any screen test, audition, not so much as a reading.

Kristas tina is more like karen witters tina.the original tina was irreplaceable, andrea evens tina was special.

I just realized something after all these years: where exactly did Jean have Dorian stashed after all that time when she was flying here and there and pretending to be Viki? Dorian at first said that Viki had her chained and locked up all night long but that cant be. it had to have been DAYS or even a week that passed with all that coming and going Jean was doing

I neither liked or disliked KT portrayal of Tina.
