My thought is this: imagine what could have happened without the concrete buffer "sheild" or sacrificial barrier? Perhaps there may have been enough energy to penetrate that concrete shield that you hid behind? 🤔 Looking at that 10c piece sized hole that went through the car like swiss cheese 😲 So this answer is that unshielded by car your most likely f****d and slim chance you avoided shrapnel by the larger spray....maybe? If it is the small network cluster then unshielded your going to be riddled with spray like a giant shot gun blast. If they used stainless steel ball bearings though they could be easily removed with a magnet? That's not too say that they haven't hit a vital organ? Shielded by a car you are only protected against the smaller network cluster if you managed to duck down before the blast when you noticed the flash? Otherwise it's going to be facial injuries. Larger cluster rounds pack way more punch because f=m x a. Greater the mass the energy to stop it. You may be able to patch many tiny holes to contain the bleeding; you ain't patching a 10c hole clean cut through someone like a cookie cutter and your friend in the passenger seat only thought about saying "what's that flash" so he's not patching you up? The dude in the passenger rear is cookie cuttered himself as well but likely slightly up more towards the chest so he may be traumatised for shorter duration than yourself? Dude on the driver's rear may have been sitting back far enough in his seat upright from the major holes through the door but the spray through the window probably not? If he ducked down then more of his upper torso would have been in the path of this largest holes through the door...... only probably 5c sized holes but still went through both doors like they weren't there......maybe 🤔 more likely not though lol. The cluster network though means greater the effective distance and more projectiles, so more potential to kill everyone because then nobody has enough blood in them to remain conscious enough to patch themselves let alone anyone else? So do you want faster and rapid or slow painful and traumatic death with hope for survival diminishing faster than quarts of blood?
The issue with cluster bombs is not only for EOD after the war. It's also because it's indiscriminant. A single ordnance can be dropped in a very exact location to hit a known target. Cluster bombs will scatter the explosives over a large area including the target, but also including every innocent person who happens to be roughly in the neighborhood. Depending on the altitude at which the shell is opened, cluster munitions can hit dozens of acres or even spread out in a radius of 1km... There is no scenario where you need such large surface unless in old timey battle fields with 2 armies lined up in front of eachother. In current warfare there will always be innocent civilians within the area of deployment. (on the other hand, to destroy a building, a cluster munition that is opened only a few meters above the building will be extremely efficient to completely level the structure)
Have you not watched any of the Ukraine war and how many shells get dropped on a medium size area and still there are surviving soldiers. I know they say the modern artillery is accurate but to take dozens of shells to take out one opposing artillery gun is frustrating meanwhile ti is shelling you with dozens of shells . One cluster and the gun is probably silenced giving your infantry a chance to complete their mission..
@@crzy11000 Dude, Ruzians can't aim, _and_ they use cluster munitions. Shelling a front line is different from dropping a precision bomb. Also, most used cluster munitions are dropped/shot from airplanes or with cruise missiles, not with ballistic artillery. So in short, you're a strawman Vatnik or someone who doesn't understand apples and oranges.
@@lukearts2954 I was talking about how you referred to its use in old timey battlefields as if Ukraine was not even happening . I also have watched the Ukrainians use out 155 howitzers and noting how many shells it takes to actually hit a tank after it is disabled so as to silence its gun. Just think if the Russians had used a cluster munition last week and instead of missing Zalinski and the Greek minister by 150 yds was reported they might be dead and the end of the war may have actually happened. Now I would not want that to have been true but it actually may have changed history and saved several thousand soldiers lives. If you believe the studies about suicide rates of returned soldiers it may be in the hundreds of thousands of lives. Of course only time will tell but when this war ends you get back to me about how many lives have been wrecked since this point in time. Here is a veteran talking about the actual numbers of suicides by vets which also then wrecks their whole family not just the vet.th-cam.com/video/U622DUytGAY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=RVF69Hx34Heoq1VL&t=2961

Hanna is clearly a skilled bomb maker, failure rate 0%.
I like the painting with the flowers and water....shame.....you should some small ones on sticks to get them off the ground 1 meter....better results
Don't built a cluster bomb at home xD
I really want you guys to do a collaboration with "the ordinance lab"
I think you could come up with some amazing stuff
holy canoly, you were extremely close on that one 4:08

Sorry mate, there is no good use of them. It is meant to cause human injury with maximum hit count (and potential inability to fix bleeding etc.). This is why its an outlawed system in so many countries.
“Sorry mate. It’s meant to cause human injury with maximum hit count”…
Sooooooo…. You’re telling me they work exactly as intended?
I'm still waiting for the big scale soap bomb... it uses hydrogen peroxide and few other household chemicals... We used it to trash our chemistry class on first day after it was rebuilt....
After Kreml subscribed to your channel, finland does not have to fear of anything 😂
By the way, i think my grandpa left his plane with you, 85 years ago🤔 (0:03:40). Can we get it back?
I see experiments go more and more "crazy".
Like from Ukraine!
When I saw the thumbnail I genuinely thought this was a video about the war in Ukraine
