Yo man, I just got top 32 at a nationals with abyss actor! I couldn't believe how well the deck preformed and I want to thank you for your videos that helped me achieve the score I got.
I'm guessing this was Ireland judging by your name and the fact that they just had nats? But also absolutely huge congrats man!! I need to see your list ASAP - this might make you the highest awarded Abyss Actor player of all time (I highly contested title haha). Also, it's really nice to hear my half-baked content helped you out too :)
@@eoinkane2012 I'd say top 32 at nats warrants a TH-cam profile for sure, if you don't want to post it on your channel I could also do like a deck profile/interview on here? Hey friend! Been studying your videos and taking abyss actors to locals for the first time today! Testing out a few of my own little twists like Alpha, master of beasts for going second, stuff like that, but wanted to say thanks for all the help and your combo videos!
Thank you for the combo guide! Hafta through 3 matches to properly remember it in MD tho 😅 10 total matches, 6 W/ 4 L. My version then slip a copy of leading lady, evil heel, and funky comedian to deal with > 3k towers (which all my Ls came from)
The deck naturally plays through hand traps well, and if you open 3+ abyss actors, there's not really any handtrap that can fully stop your turn, it will take 2 or 3 to stop you. For example if they have ash, they either ash madonna or wild hope, and you still get your scales up and a board swarm even on a small hand of abyss actors. I did two videos pre-support on how to play around shifter and nib, but I am planning on doing one for droll seeing as it'll be everywhere next format.
@@trainerrik4863 the Abyss Actor production company has taken a hiatus for now as they're in search of new talent - but Droll only stops 1 search in our normal combo (unless you open Dress Rehearsal - but then you already got what you need!).
Traptrix is relatively easy thanks to superstar - as almost all of the traptrix trap effects activate on summon. So combining superstar with beyond the pendulum is a great tool. Playing into Apo easy because you destroy her with rise of the abyss king or (even better) steal her with comic relief. Regarding darkworld it's hard to say, from my experience it's pretty balanced and depends on ht's etc. But the landloop doesn't hurt much as we have a few 1 card starters now.

How well does this deck play against dark world and Traptrix? And can it play around Appolousa ?
