Samsung fan here but in many cases the HDR of the Pixel is much better.. Depends on the conditions both take good photos.. A plus to Samsung for the extra zoom.

Seems like Samsung and Google are great companies, in sharing their tech. And they're going to be upgraded their OS system into one. This is going to be very interesting for both companies as Google is going to still work on their own product in best picture and Samsung with the most tech you could get out of any phone.
Personally I'd pick the SAMSUNG even though the Pixel 6 seems the slightly better photographer's tool. Samsung UI and ecosystem is extensive and I prefer to grant some of my data to them rather than Google.
They both had their moments. I get my FE tomorrow. I have been a Samsung fan for a long time now and they never disappoint. For the price you can't beat it! I wanted the S21 Ultra but I guess Samsung discontinued it.
Danny could you zoom in the pictures more often? Especially on my OnePlus pictures will often look great untill you zoom in and it's just a mess with heavy NR and high sharpening to compensate that results in a oil painting

Definitely disagree, if you crop and see more detail make no sense for 99% of people , when we see the overall picture how we publish that's how we should see it, many times Samsung will look better,and i don't like Samsung by the way never had one, but the photos are awesome, no one are gonna zoom out photo on instagram to see details, many times this comparison make no sense, that's why when people make blind camera comparisons, the majority of times, the "best" smarphone rarely wins.

Let's be frank, the Pixel is better in photos and the S21 Fe in video. On the other hand, what I find inadmissible is the photo processing of the Fe which has the same sensors and the same processor as the normal S21 so should logically have the same photo processing. This kind of software restrictions from Samsung is really annoying and sometimes makes it clear why Apple is always ahead when it comes to profits.
You're wrong about the s21 ultra and s21 fe having the same hardware.... they don't. They have the exact same image processing with different hardware.
Until yesterday I had a pixel 4a 5G but it decided to suddenly die. I got it because of the camera and would have upgraded to another pixel if this one wouldn't have died the way it did. For the price and support given by Samsung here in Mexico I decided to give them a try. Nice to see galaxy S21 FE is a proud competitor, not overwhelmingly crushed by the pixel. I will miss my pixel nevertheless
In my opinion, there is no point in choosing there both great phones with great capabilities, and where one may lag behind usually be fixed with with soft ware and editing
I took the S21 FE back, and I'm using a S9 again. I found the nighttime pics and video with really bad quality, and I'd never posted them. Day time is okay, but I lost really cool party moments, even 1080p videos were ultra choppy.
Technically the Pixel is better, but is a rendering that looks too digital to me,, like if it had Lightroom sliders to the extreme. The Samsung is not more natural, but looks less processed to my personal tastes and probably easier to edit if one wishes so.
5:22 the issue with all samsung cameras which i dont like. Complete loss of details as soon as the lighting is not perfect. Thats why i prefer the pixel 6 pro over the s21 ultra too. Much more reliable in every scenario.

Why did you turn the optimizer off?? I don't know anyone that uses a Samsung that turns off the optimizer. The Google phone does it automatically.. so it's not fair the Google phone has its background photo optimizer on but Samsung's is off!!

The audio of the Pixel 6 is also nicer, fuller, pleasant. * The two new Pixel 6 phones were recently updated with fixes for bugs experienced by several owners. That helps the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro to be relevant again. I'm not a fan of Google, but the photos are nicer. And the phone costs less. * It was cool that you spotted that mistake made from the Pixel 6 on that parkometer shot.

I have S21 FE and yes the night shots aren't that great. But I bought it anyway because of 30X space zoom. With this I can zoom into moon and take some cool shots which the pixal can't do. So it comes down to personal preference.
@@ThePasindu depends. If you turn on adaptive battery and turn off always on display It lasts about a day with some juice left. Although initial week it was draining fast and was heating up cause of constant update and it learning to adopt to my style. Now it was good without any issue.

Why would u turn off scene optimizer? It's like u don't use al 3 cameras or I don't know. Computing photography is the future and I don't think there is a single person out there who turns that off, especially regular users.

Danny you say the same rubbish in every video, you have zero objectivity once a Pixel is in a comparison. Across all facets the Samsung is clearly better but you just won't say it, you say the camera. The S21 FE has better zoom camera and better ultra wide camera so how can the Pixel possibly win this challenge?
I think it shows that OEMs are catching up with the Pixel. Two years ago, the Pixel would have crushed the lower-flagship phones, now they are close enough to touch. I would therefore guess that the S22U will be better than the Pixel 6Pro. They both were good enough for the average consumer and they swung back and forth. I would say the Pixel was the better but the margin was close enough to be no deal-breaker for camera enthusiasts. Like the iPhone 13 Pro, the new sensors on that and the Pixel 6 may take a while to bed in and get better, so I suspect we will see improvements over time. They are both similarily priced if you know where to look and the overall package makes then evenly matched. Probably comes down to brand preference.
I would like a pixel 6 but unfortunately google is not in our country so i would have to buy it for extra price and pay all immediately. I think samsung will be more reliable overall

Pixels have really improved their video game. Very sharp and detailed even though lil dark, atleast from the rear camera. Front video isnt there yet

No the sensors are different the s21 has a 64+12+12 on the other hand s21 Fe has 12+12+8

Pixel do have auto GOOGLE AI Image enchancher which you cannot turn off.
