This song is amazing, the speed and frequency of those riffs are insane! Who needs god when we have Lady Justice to watch over us, and the Master of Puppets guiding our lives? /v\ET/\LLIC/\ Forever!
@metallicanada next when mixing the audio try to lower the volume a bit on either the original audio or the soundboard audio to prevent the flanger effect from occurring
@DEFINEMETALisBACK Yes they did. They tryed tuning down 100 full steps for a min now they are back. Are they back to E flat I have not tryed playing with the new shit yet.
strangely age doesnt always mean worse, i read in a rolling stone mag that Rolling Stone was performing better in their oldee years than their younger years (very wierd)
the 3:47 - 3:58 wasn't as good as they did it before. They really haven't kept up with the high tempo, and seems like lars is doing a 1/8 bass drum kick bit, instead of 1/16
Well Metallica is different these days. I'm not saying they're worse or better than they were. Just different. They used to play fast and rough, now they play more calm and for example the guitar sounds 'cleaner', more perfect. That's not necessarily good or bad.
@TheMetalhead08 Lawl someone's been using my account. Yeah i know that's probs the lamest thing talking about likes and dislikes , refering to justin bieber in comments, and lets not talk about asking for thumbs....
Compare this to the '89 vid. It's clean, but Lars just doesn't have the balls any more. As an example, listen to the end of the guitar solo, where he's supposed to be blasting double kick. He just doesn't do it at all...skips it. Same with the end of the song. I love this band, I just wish Lars would play with the crazy energy he used to. I'm his age, so I appreciate the aging part, but hey, keep your legs moving.
metallica is still to this day fuckin epic and just as good as they were in the 80's. such a legendary band
Best song ever written, any category.
@Senesse05 At seattle 89 battery was just amazing so I agree with you
Still Metallica is one of the beast in metal music...long live metallica...make more beast songs until the end of time...fuck yeah...
amazing vocals by James
I love metallica *+*

Flanger?? really?? you just ruined it.
カメラ映し方上手いな
みんなかっこよく映ってる
@TheLowermen It's just the mix Fex made, they don't usually have such strong phasing
man! james' voice was so strong back then..... damn...
@sergiudrummer maybe they wanted to try somethin new ^^ or Kirk or James just stepped onto the flanger pedal without to notice
@metallicanada next when mixing the audio try to lower the volume a bit on either the original audio or the soundboard audio to prevent the flanger effect from occurring

バッテリー!!
/v[ETALLlC]v\ RULES! 🤘
very cool how you mixed the audio on this track ... did you add the flanger to the mix or is it natural ?
I f&@#king love James scary laughing at 4.50 x)
very cool how you mixed the audio on this track ... is the flange effect added or natural from the mix?
They actually played the bridge before the solo :)
Well this was the MOP 20th anniversary tour so of course they did
Flanger due to the wind Lmaooooo!!!!
Hard to hear it, if you get a bootleg video then you can hear them. This was recorded during a livestream or TV live. Its just camera sound.
I feel like a bird
メタリカすげー!
strangely age doesnt always mean worse, i read in a rolling stone mag that Rolling Stone was performing better in their oldee years than their younger years (very wierd)
the only thing that i miss is the fuckin epic headbang.then it is metallica from 1989..xD
@synyster1614 depende en que, porque yo me la se en batería...
Its like an entrance song for juan manuel marquez;)
james's guitar sounds like a thunder at the start
@xabsentx Like always
the 3:47 - 3:58 wasn't as good as they did it before.

Flanger ??

They've got flange on their guitars for this whole show?
FLANGER?
@TheMetalhead08 Lawl someone's been using my account. Yeah i know that's probs the lamest thing talking about likes and dislikes , refering to justin bieber in comments, and lets not talk about asking for thumbs....
Y don't they play the bridge anymore😭
サムネのラーズかっけえ
the vocals remind me van canto vocals...
why do i hear a flanger effect?!?!?!
最高だね
si sabes tocar battery eres grande
BOOOM !!! 1:06
Nope, that's straight flanger effect on the amps. Sounds so out of place for metallica..
It was due to the wind...
No double bass :(
The 1 person who disliked this listens to Justin Bieber Thumbs up if u agree
no its flanger
このライブ動画で人生変わった
yeahhhhh xd
bono in the crowd at 4:45
I don't know how the phase/flange effect got on there, but this is unlistenable. If that's not a word, it is now.

he fucking sucks!! period.. Dave.. end of story
What a great band would Metallica be with no Lars and Kirk.
James Hetfield had a bad day S&M his voice is amazing and Rock am Ring 2008 his voise was much better you see James can good sing but not always.
justin bieber creates three youtube accounts and dislikes it..... \m/
james rules....but i liked more when he was drunk back in the 80`s
james allowed papal elections
\m/ stay metal bitches
stupid? that sounds like an old ibanez DFL!
turn off the flange
The comment below me is false.
Where are your feet Lars ?
is Lars eating chewing gum? nice
i dont like that 'crazy camera'.
i think is not a flanger, it's a Phaser... but anyway, that phaser sucks =D
el efecto de flanger arruina la cancion
@Simonx90 he could've been, his bass drum sound sucked in this period
I HATE IT!!!
Vidal Wildeboer I hate people who comment
Overrated band
Congrats on your likes.
