My ex husband is schizophrenic. His delusions involve tv and radio transmissions. One day he was himself and the next he wasn’t. Diagnosed with a late onset. I had to divorce my high school sweetheart so that his parents could get him on their insurance, as we had exhausted all in patient stays on our own plan. He had become dangerous. Set his job on fire. I woke up to him strangling me, because he thought I was a clone. We were in our 20’s then. Absolutely would/will not comply with taking his medications. Sometimes when he calls me, I play into his delusion a bit, just because that’s the only way there is to talk to him. We are now in our 30s. Mind is absolutely gone. This poor girl needs sooooooooo much help and the drugs make it worse. So dangerous for her in that frame of mind. Definitely praying for her continued safety tonight.
Oh my heart breaks for your ex in-laws and everyone involved. I know it’s devastating to watch people suffer like this. Schizophrenia must be frightening for the person affected too. The movie “a beautiful mind” brought this mental illness to my attention when I was younger.
There is a always a chance for a turn around, let’s pray for them.

I am sorry you had to go through this. I experienced the same thing with my exgf that was diagnosed as bipolar and then completely fell apart. It is heartbreaking to watch the person you knew die in front of you day by day.

As a medical professional I knew she was schizophrenic after the first 5 min. Lord please bless her & her kids. As well as whoever is taking care of her children. May she get and accept the help she needs. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Shows how much mental health and drugs go hand in hand. They try to numb the pain anyway necessary and usually because of homelessness they don’t have insurance to get help so self medicating is the only Ave they THINK they have. Prayers to this young lady and I hope her therapist sees this and gets her more adequate help!!
Mental health care is such bs. All they will say is she’s not a danger to herself or anyone else and send her on her way. Same thing that was said to my ex husband, until the time he set his job on fire, despite my repeated attempts to seek serious help.
I agree we went thru this with my little brother. It was so sad couldn’t no matter how hard we tried get him the help he needed. So he turned to drinking and drugging. Left him homeless and passed away 3 yrs ago on July 30th in the streets. Heart breaking.

I was born in Kensington! And my dad was a cop there, but they moved me and my brother to Atlantic City when i was 3, and i was raised there. And i always thought that if i was raised there i would hv become a drug addict, but thats not true! Because i became an addict when i was 27 and lived in Millville NJ. Im clean now but i think of what my life would hv been like if i was raised in Kensington, but it doesnt matter where ur raised or by whom, it matters what u choose to do with the hand ur dealt!

I live in port Richmond. Thank you for documenting these beautiful souls. I’m so happy our city moved forward to allocate funding to public health for 2021 today. The suffering has to be severed at the root.

I went to school with her all through elementary through high school and was pretty close during middle school years. She unfortunately has passed away, RIP Logan.
I’m sincerely sorry to hear that. It’s impossible to assess a person merely from a video, but she strikes me as a sweet soul with a unique sense of innocence. I’m sure the world misses her light. Please accept my condolences for the loss of your friend.

Ehlers danlos is pretty rare but those sores are/ could be a symptom. Schizophrenia yes, she's got it. My dad had it, she's not being treated for it. Poor sweetie needs love and someone to care for her...💔🙏
I have Ehlers Danlos, the connective tissue disease and she definitely describes some of the symptoms correct. Poor wound healing is something that comes with it and those abscesses definitely need some more care ☹️ It can ravage the body, in my case taking all mobility, cause chronic pain, dislocations and in the more extreme cases like mines, the inability to eat and organ failure. Some people can live completely normal lives with it, but this poor girl needs so much help. Incidentally one of the big factors in Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, is looking younger than you are. I’m actually 82 😅 No but really she looks so much younger than she is.
I’m praying one day she gets the help she needs, especially with the schizophrenia ♥️☹️ and it’s so nice you listened to her and didn’t take the pi$$, where others would. ♥️

Omg I knew I knew her from somewhere! I’m from sellersville, pa also! I swear I was in rehab with Her at Penn Foundation. I really hope the best for her, I was right there with her and now I have 6 years clean, a husband, son, house etc.! You can do it too girl!

I too have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. It is a connective tissue disorder and among the many things related to it, we heal poorly. Please make sure she knows the importance of keeping her wounds clean and following up. Personally I know my body tends to reject any kind of sutures within 2-3 days at most because of the Ehlers Danlos. Additionally she is more prone to dislocate her joints. There are also many other conditions and issues associated with Ehlers Danlos so I pray she gets regular medical attention! Please let her know she can reach out to me at any time

Wow LOGAN I love you baby girl and your are awesome,,I pray you get clean one day. I want to tell you about my niece. She is 30 years old and was diagnosed schizophrenic when she was a teenager. She then became addicted to meth and married a man that is also an addict; they both feed off each other but when she is using she does not take her meds. My sister has her committed and she stabilizes and then she gets out and quits taking her meds and starts using again all the time hallucinating not realizing the meth is making her schizophrenia worse, her voices are not nice and sweet they are mean and demanding,,,,I PRAY HER VOICES DO NOT TAKE HOLD OF HER AND IM VISITING HER IN PRISON FOR THE REST OF HER LIFE. Take care of yourself baby girl I’M PRAYING FOR YOU and you are loved and please get help for your schizophrenia.

Girl please get those abscesses covered with gauze & keep them cleaned!! Speaking from personal experience, they are never gonna get better if you dont take care of them love 😞
No offence but self care is clearly not at the forefront of her priorities with her mind and thinking etc being so disordered and severely affected by her significant mental illness. Its so easy to offer advice like keep the abscesses covered with gauze and clean etc and you obv have the best intentions and care for her wellbeing but being homeless n on the street, she prob doesnt shower often etc. Let alone afford fresh gauze and hospital treatment etc. Its such a sad situation especially for someone so young. She absolutely requires inpatient psychiatric/ medical treatment and i hope she is able to access that kind of care and support. Im in Australia so access to mental health facilities and inpatient treatment is free, provided by the government through Medicare. There are just rather long waitlists, unless its an emergency etc then its instant. Im not sure how the US health system operates, i only know that it can be insanely expensive for ppl without insurance. Which is just insane for a first world country.

We are so lucky and blessed here in AUSTRALIA 🇦🇺 🐨 🦘!! We have loads of detox n rehabs and most of them are free!! And really really good!! Awesome meals all day n night and personal trainer and yoga instructors everything it’s awesome! And our Medicare system is probably best in the world. Wish people in America could have what we have 😔 🙏

What?! All is hear is that Australia has rehabs in major cities and that's useless for the smaller towns where meth use is so prevalent (as those ppl can't get to Sydney, Brissy, Melbourne, etc.)

Cristina trust me 80% of my town in australia if not more are on meth and in perth the city ther is 1 30bed rehab center the jails don't even have release programs to help ther is a 3 year wait list to get into the main center n with all of the state on meth no the government r not helping . but yes you can go doctors for free and if u get committed u get a free stay till they release you.

Shes really smart! EDS is her syndrome i know a few people who have it and it would be EXTREMELY hard to live on the street with. It effects your muscles bones body cardiovascular system you get super dehydrated fast. This girl is an angel. I feel for her. Not taking care of eds could have caused her other issues. Poor baby.
